Das YMCA Salisbury Hotel liegt direkt an der Star Ferry in Hong Kong und hat damit wohl eine der besten Lagen aller Hotels der Stadt. Nathan Road, Star Ferry, Avenue of Stars, MTR - alles in direkter Umgebung und in Minuten zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat einen modern gestalteten Lobbybereich und Zimmer, die einem guten 3 Sterne Standard entsprechen. Für einen Stadturlaub genau richtig. Frühstück ist im Hotel ebenfalls zu bekommen.

Sehr gut für Reisende nach China, weil das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof liegt.Service gut, Personal freundlich, Zimmer sind sauber. Hotel kann sogar Visum für China arrangieren innerhalb von 2 Tagen. Leider kein kostenloses Wifi, ist sehr teuer. Fitnessraum und Pool sind sehr schön. Kostenloses Trinkwasser täglich erhalten. Uralte Fernseher mit Deutscher Welle usw. Adapter nicht kostenlos, sollte man kaufen.Fön fest installiert im Zimmer.

Wenn man/frau bedenkt, dass es für fünfunddreißíg Euröner in HongKong ne Schuhschachtel gibt und man/frau dann nach Shenzhen kommt und dort für das gleiche Geld ein richtig schönes Hotelzimmer bekommt, gibt es echt nichts mehr zu meckern. ACHTUNG. Das Hotel ist falsch in der Karte eingezeichnet, es befindet sich direkt an der U-Bahn Station "Hubei". Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder im Gold Hotel absteigen.

Dieses Hotel liegt zwar nicht im direkten Zentrum Hongkongs. Doch ist alles, was man als Wochentourist sehen und erleben moechte innerhalb eines 60min-Spazierganges erreichbar. Der Ausblick reicht zwar auf riesige Wohnblocks - doch fanden wir dies eher charmant. Weiterhin ist das Personal freundlich und das gesamte Hotel sehr reinlich. Wir wuerden es definitif weiterempfehlen. Besonders, da es in Hong Kong nicht billiger zu gehen scheint.

Das Conrad Hong Kong ist erstklassig in jeder Beziehung. Unser geräumiges Zimmer auf der 53. Etage bot einen grandiosen Blick über den Hafen auf Kowloon. Das grosszügige Bad mit Wann und separater Duche sowie WC ist deckenhoch mit Marmor gekachelt und praktisch ausgestattet. Alle Räume und Flure sind geräuschabsorbierend mit dicken Teppichen ausgelegt. Auch Wände und Fenster sind geräuschdicht. Das Hotel bietet mehrere sehr gute Restaurants. Der Service ist in allen Bereichen perfekt. Auch ausserhalb des Hotels in den vielen Shopping Malls stehen viele unterschiedliche Restaurants in Fußwegentfernung zur Auswahl.
Lage

Meine Frau und ich waren mit dem Eaton Smart Hotel zufrieden, da wir die Suite auch zu einem sehr günstigen Preis bekommen haben. Als Nachteil bewerten wir nur, dass man die Fenster nicht wenigstens einen Spalt aufmachen kann. Das Frühstück war auch nicht üppig, dafür aber wenigstens preiswert.

"Four night stay"
The hotel was fine. The only comment I have is that it would be nice if the single traveller was given more choice in meals, such as smaller and more snack like, although good and nutritious. I did not want a large complete meal and found it difficult to get something smaller.

A conveniently placed hotel close to MTR station. Room a little small but clean with a comfortable bed. Food was good. Staff very attentive. My daughter was ill last day & staff member Andrew was very helpful allowed us a very late check out at no extra charge. He also rang to make sure she was well enough to travel. Good location. The room was perfect for 2 persons, Free internet. They had salmon for breakfast which is a must for good hotels. Will try to book this hotel again.

the room is small for the price,baggages fees charge when you left for overnight (even the guest come back for staying ). Room and toilet light are not bright enough.

"Most Pleasant Stay"
Eaton Smart is strategically located in Jordan. Food is found in every corner, from small eateries to nice chinese restaurants. There are 2 MTR stations nearby - Jordan and Yau Ma Tei. Room is small but very sufficient. I like the decor of the deluxe room. Comfortable bed and pillows. We've got a connecting room as requested which made it very convenient […] for us. The heated pool was a hit for my kids and I must say the gym was impressive. Last but not least, my compliments to the service of all the staff at Eaton Smart. It's a solid choice for the right price. Good location. The shower and bed were good, the most important things for me. One thing that bothered me is that they charged me for a premium internet service that I know I did not buy. So be careful with that one. I really liked this hotel. Spacious and modern. Room was small but clean. Outside view not very good. Still I did only have a standard room so got a window view of the back office block opposite and not of the city (as advertised) Meals a bit pricey but lovely resturant. Pros: Convenient, good Chinese restaurant and breakfast buffet, efficient staff in checking-in and out, relatively clean, free internet. Cons: Tiny room (even by HK standards), old. For the price paid, we can't complain.
"EASTON HOTEL - Convenient"
I like to comfort of the room. The location of the hotel is also very good with all shopping areas around the area. Moving around is convenient with the train station being nearby. Most important is that just by crossing the road, we can get a free shuttle bus to Tsim Sha Tsui Station to catch a train to the airport. Wonderful!

Our very first visit to Hong Kong. Eaton Smart is really comfortable and looks after you. Eaton Smart is in Jordan, an area which is busy by day and by night . It is 20 minutes from the Star Ferry. Ideal time to cross to Hong Kong. It is wonderful.

Very nice hotel, and great location. Unfortunately the concierge forgot our luggage when we arrived! But the receptionist went down to find them himself. nice breakfast buffet and also other obtions - so go for it if you are going to Hong Kong :-)

We had a comfortable bed, in a clean, quiet room in a great neighborhood. The staff were very accommodating and let us have a 1pm checkout to be more convenient for our flight. What more could you want? And then there is the location. Easy to access from the subway (Jordan stop). Location of Eaton Hotel in Jordan area is very good - near to MTR (about 8 minutes walk), bus stops, eating/shopping and places of interest, eg. Temple Street Market. The other plus point is the airport shuttle bus stop is opposite the hotel. There's also Tsui Wah Restaurant ('chai chan teng') opposite the hotel which serves nice and reasonable priced […] food, and other eating and shopping places around the hotel, which are within walking distance. this hotel is centrally located in Kowloon, close to the subway station, nice shops and good restaurants. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They provide a nice personalized touch by addressing me by name whether I call for a wake-up call, or when I have a question at the front desk. "Micro rooms but great location"
This was one of the smallest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in - even in Hong Kong! But the room was clean and the location is great, close to the Ladies market and Temple St Night Market. The staff were all helpful and polite and check-in was very quick. It was a good deal for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

Not the most luxurious, not the least expensive, but a great balance. Love the rooftop gym and pool, the location you can walk to the Star ferry from (about 1 mile lined with shops, or detour through the park and see the birds. Best buffet in town. Friendly bar. Many trips to Hong Kong and the Eaton IS Hong Kong for me.

rea a few reviews on the hotel before we check in. kinda worried bout the room size. arrived at the hotel - impressed by the modern lobby, helpful and friendly conciege. even though the room is kinda old but its very clean. can accomodate 2 adults and 2 lil kids.

You can take the regular bus across the street to the airport. It cost less and only take about 45 minutes to the airport.

We have stayed at this hotel before and were excited to stay again. But this time we were put in a tiny room with hardly any room to move. Just a bed and bathroom. We were very disappointed and will try another hotel in the future.
