Dieses "nur" 2-Sterne Hotel ist nur zum Weiterempfehlen. Obwohl offizieller Check-in erst um 15.00 Uhr ist, konnten wir schon um 10.00 Uhr ohne Probleme oder Wartezeit einchecken. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sehr sauber. Zum Disneyland gerade mal 5 Minuten zu laufen. Continental breakfast was a big disappointment (and we didn't have big expectations). Plan on grabbing breakfast at the near by McDonald's (lots of other places to choose from too). Easy walk to Disney.

On your website it said the room would sleep 5 and it does not, it can only sleep 4 one of my kids had to sleep on the floor, they do not provide a roll away bed even though I called and confirmed they would. I was very disatisfied

Is very close to Disneyland, parking free, confortable and convenience, i will back to this hotel.

room was not clean, we found personal hair (private area) in the bathroom, with the exterior door closed, you could see daylight underneath the door and up the side, I called the front desk who said they would send maintenance, in a five night stay we did not see maintenance. the carpet is old, musty and smelly, the five second rule does not even apply. […] I will give credit for the pool area, very nice for kids, although multiple visits there were often no towels. the breakfast and area is a joke, poor quality unless you like donuts, overly crowded as area is very small and very little sitting area, 3 patio tables, all outside. Close proximity to disneyland entrance but there are also many other hotels in the same area. Mehr

The hotel has been renovated. We stayed in the 2 double bed room which was extremely small. We have two small children and it was cramped. The room was nice and freshly painted. The beds are comfy. I would upgrade to a bigger room had I known how small. It is very close to Disney and restaurants. The breakfast is muffins, cereal, hard boiled eggs and […] donuts. It is a small area at the pool and became very crowded with everyone trying to get their food. The breakfast is nothing special. Mehr

Whilst this is a basic motel, the breakfast is good, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable, the pool area is great and the location's proximity to Disneyland is fantastic.

Clean and spacious room. Simple but good breakfast. Great pool with zero depth entry and splash pad for little ones. SHORT walk to Disneyland pedestrian entrance. Close to Target for those things you forgot and lots of restaurants. Loved our stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be returning!

Price: value for money. Decent breakfast, extremely close to the park. Cleanliness: the entire complex is clean and the room is well furnished with basic amenities. Service: Staff was helpful and prompt. Others: comes with a decent pool and have self service laundry facilities for those who needs them.

Average hotel - a little noisy but clean and comfortable

The hotel is getting a little tired but overall it is value for money. The location is good being just about 200 yds from Disney maingate.

The location was great close to entrance of Disney, there was a Ihop, Dennys, Tony Romas amongst many others. The staff was great very helpful, I paid less for the San Diego Ramada and got a seperate side room with a couch and flat screen TV in the room with beds and in couch area. nice place easy ,to get to disneyland

The location was great, a short walk across to Disneyland entrance and many food choices at walking distance. Only downside was that the room was very small and you could hear everything through the thin walls. The Hotel staff however was very professional and friendly.

My goal for the weekend was to find a hotel with a comfortable bed, was clean, and was close to Disneyland. This hotel met all three requirements. This hotel needs a major facelift. The location is great. There were cockroaches and other bugs in our room. The carpet made the bottoms of my socks black. The complimentary breakfast left a lot to be desired. The walls are thin and you can hear when people were walking on the second floor.

I looked over all the negative reviews of several nearby hotel/motels as well as the negative reviews for this location. In the end I chose to spend a couple extra bucks and picked the Ramada. I had absolutely no problems at all. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean. The continental breakfast was as one would expect... donuts, muffins, cereals, […] and so forth. The pool is actually really nice and even has a small play area for children. No problems with the bathroom or showers. The only small complaint was that my 11yr old had a hard time sleeping on the bed. He said it was too hard (at home he has 3" of memory foam), I personally did not have any problems. The location was fantastic. Just a short walk across the street to the Disneyland gate. I would definitely consider staying here again. Mehr

We will definitely stay here again. It was so convenient to Disnetland and to places to eat. We also had a guaranteed parking spot which some of the other hotels did not.

We recently stayed at the Ramada Maingate in Anaheim. We always stay at a hotel right across the street from Disneyland and this was our first time staying here. We had a deluxe king room and it was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom with the spa tub was spacious and perfect after a busy day at the park. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. […] We didn't get much of a chance to enjoy the pool but found it a bit on the cold side. My only complaint, if you could call it that was in our room you could really hear the plumbing from other rooms, toilet flushes, shower on etc. and in the early morning or late at night it was quite loud. Convenient location and friendly service, but there are adjacent hotels that are in better, newer condition and surpass this one in the quality of the included breakfast and even the comfort of the towels.

Upon check-in, we were upgraded, free of charge, to a room with a hot-tub. Staff was friendly all throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, great location, comfortable and great service.

-tried to check in 45min early but couldn't cuz the whole block electricity was out for about 1/2 hr. (so we went to eat lunch & came back) -overall i was happy w/hotel due to loaction & jacuzzi. my college kids could go back & forth to parks w/o me & as they wanted. the area the hotel is in is very nice & safe. it's witihin 1 block from the entrance […] to both parks & Downtown Disney. -i had a deluxe 2 queen bed w/2 sep rooms. bathrm was inside the 2nd room & wetbar is a 3ft counter w/micro, toaster, coffee maker. dishes & forks provided in cabinets-NO sep. lighting under cabinet, so a little dark. -my kids LOVED the heated pool & jacuzzi! couldn't get em out! -parking free & right there-didn't drive until i left. ther's alos acoulple more hotels closer within the same block (a del sol & best western). look at pics b4 choosing. great to be so close to Disney

Literally right across the street from Disneyland pedestrian entrance, which is closer walking distance than the Disneyland Resort parking lot! Hotel rooms were very basic but nice for what was offered. Great and affordable way to do Disney with the family. Fairly decent pool as well. Free breakfast was pretty meager, but, again, free. The location is the best thing about this place. Needs a maintenance and interior remodel. Rooms are out dated - need new paint, carpet & curtains. Front desk service was slow. Overall stay was ok.

Does not have a safe in the room and only safety deposit box in lobby. Had to carry I-pad and documents everywhere I went.

The Ramada Maingate has friendly staff, clean rooms, and is about a 5 min walk to the ticket gates of both California Adventure and Disneyland. It's an old hotel with thin walls, slightly tilting floors, and pretty cheap toiletries/coffee/tissues. We stayed on the top floor facing the pool (small, but good for kids because the shallow end slopes into […] the water, no steps, and there are sprinkler fixtures on the pool deck). We could hear and see the fireworks each night, and I think if we were on another floor or in the middle of the corridor, we would have had issues with noise from other rooms.There is free wireless internet, free parking, and a small continental breakfast offered (juice, milk, fruit, cereal, bagels, muffins). The beds were hard, pillows lumpy, and the tv channel selection pretty dismal. We stayed here for the extreme ease of coming back to our room to eat, nap, and change clothing as the day went along, and for these purposes it worked out well. I would be cautious of staying here with toddlers or babies due to noise interference with napping and early bedtimes. Mehr

Modern upgrades to this old hotel is the only thing that made it tolerable. Close location to Disney, but boy do you pay for it!

Close to the gate, fairly clean. Hotel was also quite noisy and in need of a renovation, but location was great. Parking seemed insufficient for the number of rooms, was stuck in a spot where I had to climb out the hatchback because it was so close to the cars next to me.

Great location but the rooms are way too small. We stayed 4 nights and had to constantly move our stuff around just to access parts of the room. We had a problem with housekeeping and the management was quick to correct the situation as well as gave us coupons to use on the grounds for our inconvience. The pool and jaccuzzi are great and the continental […] breakfast is satisfying but the room they serve in again is way too small. We take a Disney trip yearly and always stay across the street, I picked this hotel for location and price and was very satisfied with both. We would stay here again. The rooms might be more comfortable if they put in a double bed and bunk beds for families. This would give a bit more space which is the biggest complaint. Mehr

We arrived at 2am and the night guy was kind and helpful - be aware that the after hours window is hidden and extremely difficult to see. The rooms are very dated. As long as you realize that most of these hotels in the vicinity are dated motel style where the door is to outside instead of a hallway, and they just are basic, you shouldn't have raised […] expectations anyway. The bed comfort was alright, but I was so exhausted I could've slept through the night on a bakery rack. We didn't go to stare at the hotel ceiling - we went to stay across the street from the Disney parks and this was the perfect choice for that. Mehr

The staff was really nice and the location to disneyland was perfect. We only stayed one night so it worked out great. They had breakfast in the morning but we didn't make it. Free Wi-Fi and it worked.

Comfortable rooms but very thin walls. Stayed awake listening to neighbors talk until 2am. Felt as if they were all in our room. Other than that the stay was good.

We have never stayed here before on one of our Disneyland trips - but chose this one for the price. We were very pleased. The front desk staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The pool was wonderful, great for young children with a very shallow end with sprayers and fountains, and nicely heated, even in February it was perfect to go in. Super close walk […] to Disneyland. I was very pleased with the located to Disneyland. The rooms were comfortable and clean. They had a micro wave and a refrigerator which made was great to have. The pool and spa were clean and perfect of kids and adults

We loved staying at this hotel. The room was small, but we weren't in there long *because we were at Disneyland*. Breakfast is just so so. No frills. Was NOT satisfied that they painted our threshold to our door and didn't tell us they were doing it. My 4 year old stepped in it and fell - getting paint all over her shoes and pants.
