Wonderful experience top notch

Stayed here for a family wedding that was held at the hotel. Was pleasantly surprised with the room! It was a suite actually (I think all rooms are?). The front room had a small couch w/pull out bed, flat screen TV, and wet bar. The room seemed ideal for a small party. Maybe before heading to a Packer game?! Comfy beds & nice modern decor (for WI). […] Pool area was a nice size and very clean. Not much food selection at the Marketplace (to go) shop. Pub was cozy with good drinks at reasonable prices. Didn't eat there however. Free breakfast buffet was pretty average bordering on below average. Only complaint was the poor condition of our bathroom door. It was pretty beat up & took a bit of effort to close. Otherwise, we would stay here again. Mehr

We had a special request and Erica was very willing to help, she even called the room and followed up to make sure we were comfortable.

Very good accommodations. Pleasant staff. Comfortable suite. Extensive amenities (good fitness center with modern equipment). The only two things I was disappointed with were 1. the toilet was not up to the level of the rest of the hotel (small and clogged easily) and 2. music playing night and day in the lobby (could be heard in the background even […] inside the suite, which is otherwise quite quiet). This was a nice place to stay. We didn't use all the amenities that were offered as we were busy with areas away from out lodging.

You can tell this hotel has been around a while and sometime recently has undergone a renovation. Thankfully a bit of the funky charm still remains. I give them credit for the King Suite we stayed in. It was very stylish despite the clearly not-quality paint job that probably happened in the reno. I loved how our room had its own microwave and refrigerator. […] That was great. It had a nice couch/TV/bar area separate from the "master" which made for a really good layout when staying with two other people in the room. The pool was good, but we really enjoyed the workout room and steam shower. They were great! The surrounding view of the downtown is a bit lacking, but it's close to everything - the Titletown Brewery, the Neville Public Museum, Lambeau Field. I was disappointed they wanted to charge us for a standard hotel breakfast and the bottled waters in our room were $3 each. Seems for the rate those things should have been included. I also accidentally left my cell phone charger. If they send it back to me - without my asking - they will earn total bonus points. Overall, with nice pillows and linens and fun glass elevators make this probably one of the better hotels you could stay at in Green Bay. Mehr

The rooms were very nice. The only complaint is that their parking lot is very small and we had to park across the street in what seemed to be an abandoned parking ramp.

What a nice hotel...but it felt like a ghost town. The atrium was beautiful but there was no activities in either small bar area, aside from the bar/restaurant and Starbucks. Loved the friendly service and location.

Be careful what room you stay in; the room was beautiful and hotel was very nice but the noise from the elevator was INCREDIBLY loud. It was almost constant all night long and nothing helped. There were no other rooms available.

Small bathrooms, otherwise a great stay!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with another couple & it was very cozy and comfortable for all of us. The bar/pub had great food & good service. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I have had a hotel. Made to order omelets, fruit, bacon, cereal etc. and the coffee was so great! I would definately recommend this hotel. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with the size of our King Suite. Wet Bar, Flat Screen TVs in both Sitting Room and Bedroom, with all of the other ammentities expected included. The restaurant staff were friendly and the food was yummy. The courtesy morning breakfast had a large selection of everything - fruit, cereals, bagels, bread, sweet […] rolls, bacon, fried potatoes, eggs, pancakes with hot syrup - large selection of fruit juices, and so on. Our only regret is that we did not book a longer stay so we could spend some time in the pool/sauna/hot tub. Wonderful experience! Mehr

Great hotel, friendly staff, great city!!

Actually, thats not true. The one complaint, it seemed every guest getting on the elevator was on the 8th floor, so the wait for that was a little long. Outside of that, the place was really amazing. From the staff to the cleanliness. I would definitely rebook!!!

Final night of stay occured after Green Bay Packers victory. Hotel security and front desk allowed for partying, disruption, door slamming, yelling in the hallways (open courtyard within hotel makes for a very loud echo and for sound to travel to all levels of the hotel). After calling the front desk to ask them to stop the noise, the disruption continued […] until our check out at 5:00 am. Loud guests were allowed to behave this way without warning from security from 10:00 pm to 4:00 am. Absolutely infuriating; at no point did security make an attempt to have them stop and simply ignored their behavior. Mehr

We recently stayed here while going to a Packers game. Our hotel room was exactly what we asked for. It was very clean. The shower is amazing. The staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back next year!

I was very much surprised by the Hyatt. It was a beautiful hotel and very accomodating. The suite was wonderful and it was close to local restaurants, bars and even Lambeau Field. Highly recommend this hotel to other visitors to Green Bay!

You shouldn't have to ask for a room with a window in a hotel. Especially when it's booked 7 months in advance, and it wasn't a cheap room. We were literally in a storage room they stuck a bathroom in. This was supposed to be a SUITE. I'd hate to see what their normal rooms are like if you don't even get a window in the "suites"! The staff was overly […] friendly and welcoming, but after seeing the room, I'm assuming it's because they knew where they were sticking us. The hotel was booked, so there were no other options. I can say with absolute certainty that when I booked the room in April, this was not the last remaining room that they gave me because they were out of standard rooms. There should've been some warning. And we should have NEVER paid full, suite price for this room. I've been in their suites at this hotel before. This was NOT one of them. To not even mention it at check in leaves me with serious concerns for ever staying at this hotel on any returning trips. Mehr

Had trouble locating, but that's due to the recent (<1 week) name change. One of two flat panels TVs not working in the room, and there was a snafu with the hotel pick-up following the Packer-Viking game. However, the service was top-notch, and the room materials were VERY nice. Worth the extra $ compared to other hotels in the GB area.

Not given the room type paid for via Hotels.com, despite almost empty hotel.

Everything about this hotel was average. My biggest complaint is the elevators are slow, not a big deal. I would recommend not eating at the bar. The quality of food is very low and the prices are high for what you get. Good place to get a drink though.

Love this hotel. I called from my layover at the Chicago airport about a shuttle ride from the Green Bay airport and they said they offered it but they didn't have a driver on that day so they'd send a cab for me and pay for it. Love the suite rooms and the mini-fridge and microwave. The bar downstairs had cheap drinks and a free drink every night. […] Great happy hour specials and they make great deep fried cheese curds too. Love breakfast with made-to-order eggs, omelettes, etc. Would definitely stay here again! Mehr

My wife and I took a spur of the moment trip to Green Bay and ended up in the Sierra hotel sight unseen. For the price, the quality of the room and facility was much better than expected. Staff were friendly and accommodating, not that we asked for much. The room was a nice suite with a comfortable sitting area and a separate bedroom. Other than a minor […] rattle in the duct work, the room was very quiet. We enjoyed complimentary drinks in the hotel bar while watching the Brewers beat the diamond backs with a small but happy crowd. We were within easy walking distance to brew pubs and more upscale eateries. Downtown Green Bay is in need of work, but it did not feel unsafe and we enjoyed a couple of good meals. Although as a conference center, the hotel may change dramatically depending on the nature of a conference, we would readily return or recommend the property to friends. Mehr

...and as such, there are a few things needed to truly meet the Hyatt's standards. I didn't expect my room service order to be in styrofoam and carried in a paper shopping bag. We had difficulty in the lounge getting our food order and waited long enough that it was free. My reservation was lost when we decided to stay a 2nd night and booked through […] hotels.com It was found eventually. Apparently switching to new computer system? The room was wonderful! Mehr

Lovely hotel with a wonderful continental breakfast, would definately stay here again. Only complaint would be pillows were not firm enough but other than that loved it.

We had a great stay at Hotel Sierra. Condition of the hotel and our room was very nice. All interactions with hotel staff were positve. Stayed there for a family vacation, and there were other families with children as well. Just be aware that this is a convention hotel. You will have to seek out off site restaurants. There are options not far away, […] but they are not in the area adjacent to the hotel. With that said, the complimentary breakfast was great. We even had a burger in the pub on our first night, and the food was fine. I just felt uncomfortable eating there with children. Mehr

I like this hotel: clean suite, comfotable bed, quite, relaxing, full nice breakfast, good service.

The style of the hotel is nice with the rooms all facing a common atrium. Breakfast was good and fresh. Didn't get a chance to try the pool and spa but they looked clean and modern.

Great hotel with a great location. Complimentary breakfast was outstanding! Would definitely stay there upon a return trip. Very clean and helpful personnel.

Everything was great, stayed there to go to the Packer game. We will always stay here!!

I will recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Green Bay or surrounding areas. The service was always with a smile. The breakfast was really outstanding and Steve did a fantastic job cooking and keeping us entertained while waiting for our food. The pool was perfect for the kids and adults. The cleanliness of the hotel was superb.

We found the hotel to be very nice. Check in was very nice as well as check out. The bed and pillows, (I am very very particular about my pillow) was fabulous. I am going to call and find out what brand name the pillows were. They had both flat and full. I love the big full soft ones. The room was very clean and I am very very picky. I left a tip for […] the cleaning lady which I do not do often because most of the time corners in bathrooms are dirty. I forgot something in the room and contacted housekeeping and the gal I talked with, (Jenny or Julie could not have been sweeter. The free breakfast was cold and the guy by the egg making area was very unfriendly but after such a nice 2 night stay we did not care about it. I did not know why our drinks were served in plastic cups at the bar but again, my main object was to have a comfortable clean room and we got that. Definitely a stay again place. Mehr

The hotel offered a total of 3 free drink tickets per person and a full breakfast as well. A shuttle left to take guests to and from Lambeau Field (2.5 mi. from hotel to stadium) which was very nice - Cost - $10 each way and worth it if you don't want to mess with parking. The only complaint I had was that the bathroom had not been well cleaned before […] we came into the room. There was dried blood on the front of the stool, which I did not see until after we returned from the game.... (gross) But I notified the front desk the next morning, and received an apology and the promise that it would be turned into housekeeping for the next guest. Mehr

This is a beautiful hotel. The room was gorgeous, bed had soft linens and slept great. Great food and friendly people. The only complaint we had was that we heard plumbing or the air conditioner clunking all night. However, overall I still rate it 5 because it was absolutely fabulous. When we visit Green Bay this is definitely the hotel we'll be staying […] in. Mehr
