The web site said a continental breakfast would be available. It was not. A $10 buffet was there, which definitely was not worth the money. Most likely would not stay there again.

Staff were very friendly and rooms were clean. Would stay again if I were traveling.

The Double Tree Suites hotel seemed like a perfect stop for the traveling business person. With suites set up to separate business from leisure, I was expecting to get some much needed work done. However, the noise from the hallway as well as through the walls was so loud that concentration was impossible. A conversation between two people in the hall […] outside my room sounded like it was IN my room! My first floor room was also subject to views from the parking lot, and the black out curtains barely overlapped enough for me to feel comfortable that passers-by couldn't see in. (don't know why a single female was placed in a room at the end of the hall, near an exit door, on the first floor, in the first place). Aside from that, my room was mostly clean - there was a woman's sanitary napkin still in the garbage and a oily print on the mirror above the television in the living area. I awoke to an itchy ankle, stemming from two red dots - apparently was bitten by something while I slept. Other than these specifics about the room, the hotel was nice enough. WiFi worked well, the bar was overpriced, and the front desk staff, although friendly enough, seemed aloof and disinterested (maybe understaffed?). I was asked no questions about my satisfaction upon check out. Of course I would stay here again, but I'm glad I got a deal on the room and didn't pay full price - and I wouldn't pay full price in the future. Mehr

Pretty decent hotel if you do not want the hustle and bustle of downtown. The bed was extremely comfortable and the suite setting set the mood right. The only major complaint that I have for this hotel is that the bathroom could have used some repair. The bathtub was peeling and the toilet bowl was dislodged from it's setting. IT WAS GREAT TIME HOTEL WAS THE BEST EVERYONE WAS SO NICE AND HELPFUL WHO DAT !!!!!

I would recommend this hotel for location and price. We were going to a wedding and many people stayed downtown but we enjoyed being close to the airport, for frequent pick ups and drop offs and we were still very close to downtown. There was no noise from the airport which was a plus. There is a restaurant for breakfasts, kind of expensive but convenient […] and they had coffee every morning for free. We did use the laundry as well as the pool and using the internet office for boarding passes was a breeze. I'd say we took full advantage of all this hotel has to offer! Mehr

Front desk and bartenders could not have been nicer. Hotel was very nice and.very clean. Some carpet nd fixtures looked a little dated, but overall a very great hotel. We will stay here again..... And they gave us cookies!!

Very happy we chose Doubletree. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The front desk went above and beyond. The driver offered us a ride to Opryland Hotel instead of paying to park. He was fun and very courteous. Food was very good. I have to say the only thing I didn't care for was paying for breakfast. A great place to stay. Clean and affordable.

We were placed in a room that had a previous water leak in the ceiling. The area in the ceiling hadn't been replaced; consequently, black mold developed in this area. It rained during the 1st night of our stay. We woke up to find a water leak from the one of the walls in the living area. The rain kept coming during the day and the water spot in the […] floor became bigger. Additionally, the spot of the previous water leak in the ceiling started to leak as well. We reported this to the staff. The staff placed us in another room. The hotel, as a whole, appears to be a decent place to stay but they should have never placed us or anyone in this room until they had addressed the issues with the ceiling and ensured there would be no chance of any water leaks. We hope the hotel takes steps to ensure this type of incident does not happen again. Mehr

I arrived to my room and the air conditioner wasnt working. They changed my room and the ac of the second room wasnt working either. I complained and the guy from maintenance came over and filled the furnice with freon (I thought freon was banned). After 2 hours the room was at a decent temperature. The STAFF are awesome!!! VERY Friendly and helpful! The beds just wrapped you in comfort. The staff from the front door to Breakfast the next morning were 5 Star Customer Service Rating!!!! The room we stayed in had a stale smoke smell which as soon as they were notified they offered to change us rooms or spray a deoderizer in whichever we wanted. Everything was perfect! From the room to the front desk to the pool to the restaurant. It was peaceful and conviniently had an indoor and outdoor pool.

My overall stay was good at the Double Tree Hotel. However, the lighting room was poor for reading and doing paperwork. Please do something about the lighting in the lamps.

Very happy with everything...it was a pleasant place to stay, very clean and the staff was very attentive to our every need! I will be choosing this hotel chain in the near future! Booking the room was easy and the employee was knowledgeable and helpful with every detail!

We were disappointed with our stay. They did not want to honor our reservation, which included breakfast, because they stated that hotels.com isn't supposed to offer that package. They gave it to us, but made us feel that we were in the wrong, even though we had a documented reservation including breakfast. We also had a lamp which did not include […] a bulb and a clogged shower drain. We like doubletree's in general, but were upset with our experience here. Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and service was great and prompt. Easy access to Nashville area attractions and didn't hear the airport traffic nearby.

If the bathrooms worked properly, I would say this is a hotel you want to spend your home away from home. The beds are extra comfortable and the flat screen TVs were a plus. The atmosphere of the hotel was very welcoming but the toilets not working properly flushed out everything else good about the hotel.

Everything was clean and nice. The rooms were decorated very nice. Kids loved the pool. We will be staying again.

we had 3 adults and 1 child and booked a room, when we arrived they try to give us a room with 1 king size bed and a sleeper sofa. I refused this room and they sent us to a room on the 3rd floor with 2 double beds but when we got there and tried to unload our luggage we found someone else's luggage still there. We had to pack everything back up and […] head back to the lobby where we had to take the 1 king bed room as the hotel was completely booked. they tried to patch things with free breakfast coupons for everyone in our party. We tried to eat dinner the night before, and that was a disaster as the food is cooked in the basement and carried up to the sitting area. they would bring a meal at a time. we were there at 6 and all of our party still did not have all our food at 730. when we tried to eat the breakfast next day, the same thing, happened. It was a buffet, but some went through and got food and they ran out. It was over 20 minutes before they brought eggs, then the bacon disappeared. so when we got to the table the food was cold. Mehr

I travel a lot for business and this hotel was spectacular. My business trip took me to The Gaylord Opryland hotel and I can honestly say that my room at the double tree was more comfortable! I will definately stay here every time I travel to Nashville!

The hotel was clean and nice. The hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. The cookie was a great touch!

We stayed here Christmas day because we had to fly out early the next morning and they were one of the only hotels to have a shuttle service to the airport 24/7. The place was VERY nice and clean, the workers were pleasant and like I said before, I believe we were upgraded since we had a two-room suite when we paid for just a normal room so that was […] awesome. The beds are super comfortable too. I don't think there is a whole lot to do around the hotel entertainment-wise so this isn't for people to want to walk around and hang out I don't think. But for business and needing a safe and nice place to stay - this was perfect. The pool also looked really inviting as did the breakfast food, unfortunately we were there too quickly to enjoy either. The check-in staff was somewhat rude. We had to ask where the elevator was, where to find our room, etc. After arriving in our room and discovering that though we booked the room for 6 people, we had only 3 towels, I tried repeatedly to call the "care line" only to be hung up on. They called me back to say that the phone in our room is broken, we can […] only hear them if they call us. Then we had to pick up the towels at the desk ourselves. The bathroom had a large crack in the ceiling above the bathtub and faucet in the tub ran constantly. The beds were clearly hastily made as we had to re-make them ourselves. The sheets kept pulling away from the mattress as they were the wrong size for the beds. We swam at the hotel pool for about 25 minutes before we discovered a wad of hair and a bloody bandage floating near the bottom. We opted not to eat the overpriced breakfast ($9.95 per person plus tax) and checked out very early as the beds were so uncomfortable that we slept only 5 hours before we had had enough. We will not return to that hotel nor any Doubletree hotel in the future. Mehr

We enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree. The only problem we had was we needed extra towels and the house keeper said there was no more. We found out there was a problem with the washer and we received more the next morning. The bathroom was smaller like everyone has said, but that was probaly because the vanity was outside the bathroom. We enjoyed our […] stay and will go back if in that area. Warm cookies were ready for us when we arrived later in the evening and were a great treat! The room was spacious and clean, and we loved the seperate sleeping area. The pool was clean and they had very comfortable lounge chairs to sit in outside. The only downsides were the air could have been on a little higher in the lobby and public areas. Of course […] it was in the high 90's while we were there so they may have been doing the best that they could. I also required some help at the front desk to retrieve a document that I needed to print and they didn't seem overly helpful with directions on how to retrieve it. Also we needed some ice when we left but the machine was empty, again maybe just in such high demand with the heat they couldn't keep up. Overall a nice hotel and it didn't take us long to get around to what we wanted to see as it was close to the expressway. Mehr

This hotel was very nice, our room was great.

This was our first stay at a DoubleTree property. While I don't expect that other DT properties have the same problem we encountered, our impression of this particular property was not good. The accommodations themselves are good: two rooms (bedroom with king size bed and attached bathroom, and a large living room area with desk, sofa and chairs, with […] a refrigerator, coffee maker, etc,). However, the bath tub/shower was not clean, with soap scum or other dark deposits on the sides. The soft in the living room had a LARGE tear along the seam on one side of a cushion, and was VERY visible to anyone. It would seem the management of this property does not visit the rooms regularly to see that their staff are keeping them clean and well maintained. Mehr

hotel and staff were very nice... it is a good place to stay. my only problem was that there wasnt any bars/restaurants nearby besides the one in hotel which was fine.. just like to switch it up.

we stayed there on our way down to GA and on the way back. First room had very slow draining shower and needed some repairs to wallpaper. But the room was huge and we enjoyed it. Second room we experienced no problems.

The first room was kinda alright the first night. The bathtub leaked and one strip of wallpaper needed attention. Cleanliness needed work. We came back the next evening and the cleaning staff had turned on the AC and it was freezing. We turned on the heat and it wouldn't kick in. They moved us to a new room. Cleanliness not too great. Bed was out of […] place. Went to pull curtains shut and the bed collapsed! Room change again! Heat worked, cleanliness iffy, bathtub not leaking, but needed attention. At least it was somewhere to sleep. I will NOT stay there again!!! Mehr

Good value for everything received, only issue was that the smell of cigarette smoke permeated the hallways and into the non-smoking room. It wasnt terribly awful, but with someone who allergic to these smells or conditions, it could be very bothersome. I would recommend bringing some febreeze if you stay here. other than that, nice place

Room, clean, roomy, comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast very tasty, although on our particular weekend, the staff had trouble keeping up with the number of guests. I would suggest to them to make it a true buffet, let us get our own drinks and utensils. Then the staff can concentrate on keeping things replenished. The hotel was old, needed an elevator on the sides, not just the front and back. The staff was VERY efficient, pleasant, and helpful. I agree with some of the other reviewers, the breakfast was high-priced, especially with all the places I could choose from just down the road.

This was just a quick stop on a long road trip so we didn't stay longer than just to sleep. The hotel needed a little maintenance work done. The ceiling above the shower looked like it was about to cave but other than that it was a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean and had a fridge which is always a bonus. I was bummed […] they had no cookies left when we checked in. You would think a hotel who is unique in offering fresh baked cookies at check-in which are so delicious would have some readily available. Mehr
