Gutes Hotel, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Wallstreet , am südlichsten Ende des Broadway. Sehr nette Bedienung. Enges aber sauberes Zimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Betten.

Großes Zimmer, gute Betten. Bei Zimmern nach hinten raus kann man bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Internet fürs Zimmer zu teuer. Im Bad leichter Renovierungsstau. Frühstück im Hotelrestaurant empfehlenswert, sehr nette Bedienung. Infostand für Sightseeing im Hotel sehr gut. Karten tlw. kostenfrei. Mexik. Pub +Chinarestaurant ca. 200 m entfernt. U-Bahn ca. 400m weg.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber, zweckmäßig und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. In direkter Nähe befinden sich viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Stock Exchange, 9/11 Memorial, Trinity Church) und man erreicht 3 verschiedene Subway-Stationen innerhalb weniger Gehminuten. Außerdem die Fähre nach LongIsland bzw. den Anleger für die Boote zur Freiheitsstatue und Elis Island. Da an der Wallstreet Abends/ Nachts nicht ganz so viel los ist, kann man - für NYC-Verhältnisse - relativ ruhig schlafen, v.a. im Vergleich mit der Gegend rund um den TimesSquare usw. Ein kleines, aber feines, familiengeführtes (so schien es) Hotel, dass wir auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen würden!

Crowne Plaza Englewood liegt in Englewood in der Nähe von: Fort Lee Borough Hall, Fort Lee Public Library und Fairleigh Dickinson University. Riverside Square Mall ist eine weitere in der Nähe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeit.

"Noise"
Low humming noise thru the night. Bothered so much and cannot ask to change the room in the middle of the night. I was too tired to change the room. The shuttle bus guy came so late to pick us up and we had to stay in the cold night for 30 minutes. Don't want to go there again. Bad service.
Our stay was ok.
Nice hotel. Can be seen from the highway. Just minutes away from NYC. Would definately stay again. Clean and friendly front desk staff.

Very convenient, yes. But the bed in Room 520 was sagging and the pillows were cheap. When I turned the bed back there was quite a bit of hair and dust on the mattress frame, between the base of the mattress and the headboard. Some long hair on the skirt of the bed, too. This hotel is only clean on the surface! There was food and trash under the beds. ( we were looking for something we lost) i dont think they ever cleaned under there. Service in the resturant was horrible unless u like pouring your own coffee. 8 out of 15 or so tables were left unbussed we had to stand there and look for a clean one ourselves while […] the bus boy wandered around doing nothing. The Crowne Plaza was an overall ok hotel. The room was ok, but the bathroom tub was dirty. I had someone come and clean it, and it was still dirty after the second cleaning. Other than that it was just ok. I really have nothing totally bad to say, but nothing good to say either.

The rugs were very dirty and the rooms could have been updated.

"Convenient to the Armory"
Very nice hotel, rooms were nice. Bus station was a few blocks away to catch buses to GW Bridge station and Port Authority terminal at 42nd street. Check about the breakfast buffet, came with the room we got, very glad it did, Breakfast was very good.
"Surprise Gem."
This hotel was chosen for it's location close to Tenafly, NJ and served it's purpose of being the location of my small film crew to stay. Breakfast buffet was hearty and had a large variety of options, definitely spring for it if you plan on getting breakfast. Front desk staff is helpful and nice, rooms very clean and fairly large. Large bathroom. Fridge […] on request. Downstairs area does occasionally smell of chlorine from indoor pool but nothing truly offensive. Mehr
"Dependable"
Not great, not bad. I stay here about 4x / yr. I remember it used to be a Radisson. Dependable and convenient for me. The people are accommodating.

"Crown Plaza Englewood Great place to stay"
Pleased hotel located in a good part of NJ/NYC area. Not too far from the city or to the ferry taking you to Ellis Island. In fact, visiting Ellis Island from the NJ side proved to be incredibly easy and cost effective! Nearby to most everything; off the main road. Were there at Thanksgiving and could not believe how pleasant, kind and hospitable the […] people working the buffet were. Would definitely recommend. May get a bit frustrated with the lack of help from some of the front dest people who seem confused and can't give accurate information. But that would be our only complaint. Mehr
"Crowne Plaza Englewood - one night too many"
I specifically asked for handicap accessability and nearness to the hottub.. My room was on the second floor next to the elevator There was no hottub. I was informed that the pool water wasn't cold, but warm, and the location was on the other side of the hotel, quite a walk. I took the bucket provided to get ice, but after walking the full length of […] the 2nd floor to & from my room, I found no ice machine. I called the desk & was told the ice machiine was either on the 3rd or 4th floor, no idea which direction. I requested a wheelchair. I waited. No one ever called back or brought one. The other old person with me finally found the ice machine in the furthest corner of the 4th floor corridor. Mehr

We had a great stay and the location was very convenient to our New Jersey family. The only disappointment was not being able to get FOX News on the TV in our room!

Stayed at Crown Plaza for funeral in Mt. Vernon, NY. Loved the ease of gettting to our destination. Room was comfortble. Only issues - on first night the room next to us guest returned late, lots of loud talking and door slamming. Second night someone down the hall was smoking and the fumes invaded our room and we were in a nonsmoking room. Oh well […] it was still good value. Mehr

"Bad Smell and Noise"
The room smelled bad and the smell did not get better throughout the night. In addition, 3 men were outside at midnught fixing equipment on a lower roof making noise using foul language Terrible hotel!

Chose this hotel due to it's location near the Bergen Performing Arts Center where my wife and I were going to see a show. Very basic accomodations and perhaps a bit overpriced for the quality, but a major chain hotel. Crown Paza's to me are fine for business travel so I wasn't expecting a nice romantic hotel and didn't get one. Overall a fine hotel. […] We had an issue with some loud neighbors when we first checked in, but were quickly moved to another room and given a comp. breakfast. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was fine. Should ask for a room that doesn't look over the highway. Next time I would do a bit more research and see if there was an alternate. The Bergen Arts Center is in a cool section of town with nice shops, restaurants, etc...so may see if there was something a little more 'cool' I guess, but would stay back at the Crown if I had to. "Great stay but poor service upon check-in"
I think this hotel is great overall but upon us checking in Jeffery was by far the worse! Jeffery treated us as if we were checking in at hotel 6 and not the crowne plaza. He got everything wrong about our stay and he didnt even check into anything upon being corrected. and he also didnt even attempt do anything to make up for the embrassment he put […] us through. but besides that the hotel is great! and the staff after him was great! This is a great hotel with an incredible location close to great sites in the area. Twenty minutes from NY and 30 minutes from Hoboken and much more. The hotel is clean, the staff is great and the cleaning crew is phenomenal.

Overall my family and I had a good stay at the hotel, I just wished the staff at the check-in would be more courteous and tell you all the infos that you need to have ( like the locations of pool, spa, gym, the free internet service...) We had to ask for everything event the breakfeast coupon we paid for !! The room and the bathroom was nice...

"safe spot"
we wanted something close to our relatives in the bronx, but not actually in the bronx. this was a safe locatioin and very clean, neat, luxery feel. Loved our stay.
"Not convenient at all"
Stayed here for 4 nights, booking originally thinking it would be convenient to NYC via public transportation... absolutely not true. staffs do not know any public transportation route from or near the hotel. If you are not taking the car to NYC, it's absolutely ghastly to get to and from.
