Das Mediterranean Inn liegt etwas außerhalb des Zentrums Seattles in der Nähe des Seattle Centers (mit Space Needle). Es ist bequem per Bus (tageszeitabhängiger Preis zwischen $2,25 und $2,50) zu erreichen. Gleich nebenan ist ein Starbucks, dessen Kaffeeduft in die Lobby des Hotels zieht. Unser Zimmer war mit einer Mikrowelle, Spüle und einem Kühlschrank sowie großen Flachbildschirm ausgestattet. Leider hatte es keinen Safe, was aber nicht schlimm war. Das Bad war sauber und groß. Leider ohne Fenster. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer ging in den Innenhof des Hotels. Schade aber nicht so schlimm, denn die Dachterrasse des Hotels erlaubt einen Blick über Seattle. Die Angestellten des Hotels machten einen netten und hilfsbereiten Eindruck und haben uns auch um 4 Uhr morgens bei unsere Abreise geholfen. Das Hotel verfügt über WLAN und ein Business Center. Das WLAN ist für $5 pro Tag nutzbar und kann mit einem Fahrradausleihprogramm (in Summe $7,99) kombiniert werden. Im Sommer bestimmt sehr sinnvoll. Das Business Center ist kostenlos nutzbar (ebenso wie die Drucker und Faxgeräte darin). Außerdem verfügt das Hotel über einen Fitnessraum und diverse Münzwaschmaschinen und Trockner). Noch etwas zur Umgebung. In unmittelbarer Nähe (3-5 min zu Fuß) sind diverse Restaurants, Kneipen und auch ein Kino. Ebenso wie ein Safeway Supermarkt.

Die Vorzüge des Hotels sind eindeutig: 1.) Die ausgezeichnete Lage für Reisende die möglichst schnell (ca. 200 m zu Fuß) vom Hotel bis zu Check-In Schalter kommen möchten. Wegen der Kürze des Weges geht das sogar zu Fuß bei Regen ohne Schirm! 2.) Die unmittelbare Nähe (ca. 250 m) zum LightRail Link zwischen Flughafen und Seattle Downtown, wobei die Tageskarte ca. 5$ kostet. Fahrtzeit ca. 35 Minuten. Ansonsten war das Hotel älter in der Ausstattung (ungefähr 70er Jahre Bauzeit) mit einigen Upgrades (z.B. zwei neue Flachbildschirme). Das Standard-Zimmer (Bad, Schlafzimmer, Auftenhaltsraum) war sauber. Die Lounch und der Frühstücksbereich des Hotels gepflegt. Das Frühstück war hingegen nur Durchschnitt, so daß man eher in Seattle Downtown frühstücken möchte. Der sehr Nahe gelegene Flughafen bietet diesbezüglich auch nur wenig an. Einzige Kritikpunkte meines Zimmers auf der Seite zum Flughafen war der laute Straßenverkehr des 'Internationl Boulevard' for dem Hotel (der Fluglärm hingegen war gut erträglich). Und die Klimaanlage, welche in Seattle aber selten nötig wäre, wenn man das Fenster öffenen könnte. Das ging zwar mechanisch problemlos, aber bei dem Straßenverkehr-Krach ... Ich würde das Hotel dennoch weiterempfehlen. In der Summe war es rund.

Die Eastside von Seattle ist einer der wohlhabendsten Bezirke Amerikas. Die Anwesen mit einem Wert von mehreren Millionen Dollar am Ufer des Lake Washington dienen als luxuriöses Domizil für einige bekannte Milliardäre, darunter auch Bill Gates. Mit ihren riesigen Bürohochhäusern und Bankentürmen steht die Skyline von Bellevue Downtown der von Seattle in nichts nach. An der Eastside sind mehrere Hauptfirmensitze angesiedelt, u. a. die von Microsoft, Nintendo of America und Eddie Bauer.

everything is okay, the staffs are friendly, one thing during the time of booking, you mentioned it is the room facing the poolside, but we did`nt have the same view, i have booked 2 rooms, one has bath tub but the other did`nt have.It seems a little difference from your statement.

"Comfortable home away from home"
Spent the Easter weekend in Seattle and stayed at the Hotel Bellevue. Service, comfort of the room and the hotel location were all superb!....it will now be a destination of choice for all future Seattle visits.

"Hotel Bellevue was very good for active people"
We recently spent a weekend at the Hotel Bellevue and found it to be a very nice comfortable place. If you are someone looking to work out or enjoy all the ammeninties of a full fitness club this is the place for you. The athletic club attached to the hotel is excellent and we had full priveledges at all of the areas. We played some tennis with raquets […] we borrowed for free, played some basketball in the huge gym with complimentary basketballs and had a nice swim in one of the 2 large indoor pools. It was a little cold for the outdoor pool. Great staff, a nice lounge/ restaraunt in the lobby and close to downtown Bellevue where we were surprised at all the great restaurants within a few blocks of each other. All in all a very nice stay. "Hotel Bellevue has great service"
Superb service in general. A little out of town, but with a complimentary local car service it is not a problem. Being a sports club, the gym facilities are excellent. Dining options are a bit limited, but not bad.

"Great small hotel with excellent facilities"
The hotel is attached to the brilliantly equipped Bellevue Club so has something for everyone if you fancy a work out (gyms, swimming pools, sports halls, tennis courts). The hotel itself is small but the staff are great, the rooms comfortable and spacious

Without a doubt... the premium price paid on the room rates are far outweighed by the gym facilities and experience. Note the overnight parking chgs.

Stayed at deluxe suite. King bed was very nice and comfortable. Bath tub was big and the shower heads are ok. My bf really like the speakers inside the bathroom. Food a little expensive, not too many choices, but the food that we did order was yummy

"We had a great stay - but"
The temperature control in the room did not work properly and when the AC came on during the night I thought a freight train was running me over. The morning coffee was delivered on time and very quiet but unfortunately the coffee was almost cold and tasted worse than Denny's coffee. "An absolute must!"
I can not say enough possitive things about this hotel, it was above all one of the most comfortable hotels we have stayed in. There are plenty of things to do, with the all inclussive gym, pool, spa, cafe plus two restraunts, and above all else the most AMAZING customer service I have ever recieved from a hotel. The rooms are BEAUTIFUL and feel very […] much like HOME. The hotel was pretty full the weekend that we had visited there and never once heard our neighbors, walls are extremely sound proof and built solid. Linens are crisp and clean, no weird or stange smells in the rooms, LOVE the fact that they are a green hotel true and true all the way down to the shampo bottles made out of biodegradable bottles. The gym was great with several choice activities and very family friendly as well. Locker rooms were nice and clean. Took a yoga class during our stay and the instuctor was wonderful, she was interactive with the rest of the class helping correct possitions if it was needed. Great workout. Plus the two lap pools were great, very clean and relaxing from one controlled tempurature to the next. Very refreshing. Each staff member we came into contact with were super friendly and treated us well. Next time we are in the area we will not stay anywhere else but Hotel Bellevue. By far blows any hotel in Seattle or the rest of Bellevue out of the water. So yes, I would most definatley recommend staying at this hotel. It was a pleasent expereince and we will return to this hotel for any future stays in the Seattle/Bellevue area. Mehr

I really liked this hotel: conveniently located, rooms with lots of amenities, good food, complimentary access to full size fitness club including pool, sauna and steam room. I was able to get a very attractive rate and spa credit to boot, so it was an excellent deal.
"Comfort and good place to relax for a weekend"
Nice place to stay and for recreation. Have a bit uncomfortable about the club's rules and lot of restriction. It was raining and i brought my kid to practise her cross country training on the indoor track and field at the gym/ basketball room. My kids are over 7-year-old but they are not as tall as other kids. After we warmed up few rounds and we decided […] to leave. When we were walking out the gym door, I heard the security guy's Walky conversation about sering kids at the track and field and asked him to check. Then he replied that we were leaving. "Great secluded hotel, but close to the city."
Nice and close to everything nearby in Bellevue (5 min drive). Also about a 20 min drive to Seattle which is great. Overall really liked the hotel, but the pillows could be stiffer. Excellent staff service!

"Amazing, but don't go for the pool"
The room was nice, comfortable & perfect for what we needed - rest after having fun with family and before heading home on a plane. Room service was fast & the food was tasty, but one day our eggs Benedict came without potatoes and fruit, and the next day we were surprised to get them. No biggie. The main reason we booked is so we could read by the […] pool and chill outside the city, but a warning - the massive and gorgeous fitness center is mostly used by locals and the outside pool is basically a massive baby pool with kids and stray toys. It was a bit overwhelming because it was super loud. We were fine with it for a few hours, but went inside when we couldn't take all the screaming and splashing... there was no way to do laps - no adult swim. We love kids, but really needed a rest... we got it, but not at the pool. So that's my big FYI. It's a lovely hotel and the 1pm checkout is wonderful! Mehr
"Nice, quite, athletic, family oriented location"
Nice, spacious room. It’s about 20 min driving to Seattle downtime but it is located in a quite neighborhood. It is a athletic club in fact which offers a lot in that department: outdoor/indoor pool, basketball fields and 3 level gym.

"We loved Hotel Bellevue."
Amazing room - loved the bathroom! Everyone was really friendly and quick to help. Gorgeous Mercedes to take you out within a few miles (if we didn't have our 2 yr old with us we would have taken advantage for sure). A short drive (could have walked) from the mall and lots of restaurants. Main purpose of our trip was to visit woodland park zoo and […] hotel bellevue was better value than staying in Seattle for the quality of room/ amenities...for us it was worth the extra little drive to get there and we didn't miss not being in Seattle. "Truly a special find"
The Hotel Bellevue is my new favorite place. In fact I love it so much I prefer not to give the secret away. I have stayed there twice in the last month. It is very elegant, has great service and the Bellevue Athletic Club next door is just amazing. I used the elliptical and went for a long lap swim. There are good places to eat at the club, even a […] snack bar for a quick smoothy or cookie or a salad. They have a beautiful white Mercedes for local rides that my daughter took to the Bellevue Square mall and back again. When I want to spoil myself, this is where I will go. The soaking tub with its large jar of bath salts is an excellent place to let your tensions melt away or refresh yourself after a hike in the cascades. I adore the big french doors to let the cool fresh northwest air in and listen to the birds. thank you Hotel Bellevue! Mehr

"Awful Service, Okay Hotel"
We arrived at the hotel at 4pm to check in and there were no rooms available. We left to do a little shopping and have dinner, only to return at 5:30 and still not have a room. We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes which was unacceptable. We ordered room service for dessert - cheesecake and chocolate ice cream. After 45 minutes of waiting, we called […] again to see what was taking so long. The finally brought our dessert 15 minutes later - cheesecake and mango sorbet which was not what we ordered. The waiter was apologetic and did correct the order. However, calling twice and waiting over an hour for a simple dessert only to have the order be incorrect when it arrived was unacceptable. The hotel did remove the room service charge from our bill but only after we complained. There was no offer to make either situation right without us having to ask for it. For the price of the hotel and the ratings it received, we were rather disappointed. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and left both my husband and I with sore backs. We would not return. Mehr

"Hotel Bellevue - Fabulous!"
This was our first stay at the Hotel Bellevue - we will definitely be going back. Our room was very comfortable, it was wonderful to have a door to open for fresh air. If you're looking to keep your level of fitness up while travelling, the attached facility will more than impress you. It is approx. a 15 min. drive to downtown Seattle and the waterfront […] from the hotel, even with taking that into consideration, we will stay at the Bellevue on our next trip rather than a downtown hotel. If you are interested in shopping at Neiman Marcus & the other shops at the Bravern, they are only a couple minutes away. We rate our stay a 10 out of 10! Mehr

Beautiful room (I got a club room), comfortable balcony, fantastic bathand shower. Bed had really REALLY comfortable linens, but a really awful mattress! "Literally a minute to the 90 freeway to Seattle"
We got a great last minute rate for the hotel through Hotels.com, which led us to give it a try. Good sized room for three (my 16 year old used a roll away). beautiful room, nice upscale style, definitely felt like a 4 diamond+ room We loved everything about the hotel except the limited day/evening room service menu (breakfast menu was great)..would […] definitely stay again. the exercise club was superb..we wondered around just to see all the spaces. "Extremely comfortable, and luxurious hotel"
We were there for a romantic getaway weekend. We found the hotel to be extremely comfortable, and definitely deserves their Small Luxury Hotel rating. The athletic club is very high end, with clean facilities. Best part is they have a car and driver that can take you to anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel.
