The room smelled bad. There were cigarette burns on the comforters. They offered no fruit for breakfast. Otherwise, the room was ok.

If cleanliness is next to Godliness then I don't want to say what I think of this hotel. It was just "yucky". The bed spread had stains, the carpet was not vacuumed properly, the remote for the television was greasy and the bathroom wasn't cleaned up to par. Room was VERY nice, clean, spacious, nicely located within steps of restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, buses and trains to get around. The staff was absolutely professional and helpful at all times. I would definitely stay here again. Price was perfect!! I recommend!

The girl at the front desk was sincerely friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, nothing special. The bed spreads need replaced. If I had a complaint it would be that the (non smoking) room had a musty smell to it. The complimentary breakfast seemed pretty bare bones.. PROS: Relatively, a very affordable rate. Free Wi-Fi, good speed. Spacious room; comfortable furniture. Overall quite clean. Very quiet, perfect for my purpose travel (business/education). Breakfast hours and offerings were perfectly fine, even if nothing special. Friendly and helpful staff. Good house-keeping. Various extra complimentary sundries available […] upon request. Good heating–cooling system. Good-size color television with ample selection of cable channels. Easy walking distance to public transportation, restaurants, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc. CONS: “Smoking” vs. “non-smoking” is meaningless. I requested a non-smoking room, and was given one. (The entire second floor is designated as non-smoking.) There was a cigarette butt caught in my sink-drain, when I moved in. The whole floor consistently reeks of smoke, as usually does the elevator (although the room itself mostly was fine). Only one elevator exists, at the center of the building, with a staircase only at either end. Lighting in the room isn’t the greatest (not terrible, but just not very bright bulbs). Room-key (electronic card) dies often; re-activation takes ~90 long seconds. Finally, though really not a “con,” the pillows are ridiculously small. It doesn’t matter much, as you’re given five of them rather than two — I just never have seen such tiny pillows with a bed, let alone with a king-size. Mehr

I have stayed at the place several times when traveling through the Chicago Midway area. Outstanding staff ! Hotel was clean and within 10 miles of Midway airport. Perfect for business travelers . Everything was fine except the walls were very thin. We heard almost every word the people in the next word said. We also listen to the music they were playing until early morning. --- a little disappointed in quality of breakfast. - I expected more from a Days inn.

This was a very good choice for a discount hotel. I was there with a team of students for a competition at a local college and we needed something close that was inexpensive. This hotel served that need perfectly. The check-in process was smooth. The rooms were clean and smelled good but the hallways were a bit musty/odd smelling. The only incident I had was with the check in process we booked a smoking room with a king bed and when we got there the attendant had no smoking rooms available even though we had specifically booked a smoking room anyway he gave us a non smoking room and instructed us to open the window and smoke in the room the next day they gave us a smoking room […] with only a full bed i was very dissatisfied I understand they did the best they could I just thought it was very shady that they told us to smoke in a non smoking room and then I was angry when we got down graded overall nice hotel for the price Mehr

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bridgeview Days Inn. the only issue I had was some children running up and down the third floor hallway, My room was on the second floor and you can hear them for some time running the hallway. Room was nice and clean. Coffee maker in the room was nice. There was plenty of places to go eat within walking distance and anything you wanted to do was about a $7 cab ride local. When I go to Chicago Ridge I will stay there again.

The room was not very clean there was a red spot on the sheets since I was not too far from home i was able to use my own bedding to cover the bed. If the cleaning staff actually cleaned they would have changed the bedding but since it was not changed in the 3days I was there it proves it was not cleaned at all.

Had to leave withing hours due to smoking in my floor. Management didn't bother to apologize or try to make things right. When I explained to the manager why I was leaving, he simply said, "Okay"

I've stayed here a couple of times now and that should be the first thing you rate on, the number of times people go to the same hotel. As before everything was great... although I forgot to mention the last time they have the most amazing free breakfast I have ever had at a cheap hotel. I love this place and will keep coming back.

Nice motel with an exceptionally friendly staff. The price was one of the lowest I found but the motel was equal to motels I have paid twice the money. There is a mall less than 5 minutes and plenty of places to eat.

This may be no 5 star hotel but your also not paying 5 star price. However from what I have seen this place is amazing for the price. Driving up you will get concerned since it appears to be in an industrial district and I echo what others have said its a bit creepy. That however is where my complaints end, I had amazing service from the man behind […] the counter. He was very friendly, and at the same time had me through the process in moments. I would say the check in time was under two minutes, but he wrapped up with telling me "My name is blah, if you need anything at all don't hesitate to call the front desk I will be here all night"..... As far as the room there were very minor maintenance issues with the Furnature but the room was non-smoking and I couldn't detect a trace of cigarette smell. It was very clean, Internet was fast and easy to get on. All in all I travel to Chicago a lot and I am sure I will be using this hotel again. Mehr

Made a last min trip.. it ended up not close to where we were going and for the price.. was just average... If you are going for any attractions in Harrisburg or Hershey you can do better to find something close ... yet if you really need to save a few dollars... its wasnt to terrible.

This place is great. Only complaint is the lame breakfast setup but the upside is there is a Dennys within walking distance. Nice room and super friendly staff. Thumbs way up.

the check in was swift and the staff chatty. breakfast was literally just scraps. no restocking and really just bread and coffee. the rugs are warn and the elevator clunked and was dirty. tricky to find if you are unfamiliar with the area.
