Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Continental breakfast wasn't great, most food had run out when there was an hour left of breakfast time. Location was convenient, served it's purpose, but I wouldn't want to stay here again if I could avoid it.

if i had a choice...i would have left the hotel...last minute trip and last minute reservation...we had stayed there a couple of years ago...that is why i decided to stay again...but regret it...sorry for bad report but when you have a roll of toilet paper full of urine when you walk in....nasty!!!!

Was traveling from The Twin Cites Mn and needed a place to stay before our final destination in Shelbyville Il. Check in was smooth and fast, beds were good, quiet hotel, rooms seemed clean. Didn't hear any noise beyond normal hotel noise. I slept fine on the beds. Only complaint I would have is everything is s compact. We were only staying overnight […] and it worked out just fine. Lower end place to stay, but resonable, clean and convenient! I would recommend it to anyone just needing a place to stay! Breakfast was average but good! I do believe that the lower end motels & hotels can make themselve more enjoyable by having softer towels and at least pillow covers. Hotel is fare for the price. Only problem for me is I smoke and there are no downstairs smoking rooms. Queen beds look like the full size bed to me next time I'll just get a full.

It was fine. Served our purpose for one night at the price we could afford. The shower ceiling could use a facelift however the shower worked perfectly. The other person in our group mentioned in his room there was a bed buddy in his bed.

They need newe locks. The present cardsd work only after numberous tries. The reakfast area is too small for the number of people wanting a continental breakfast.

We stayed at this Days Inn because we were attending a conference. It was very convenient to the location. Also, there are many food choices around which was great too. Our only complaint was the breakfast. The food looked old and there was not much selection. We felt like we were getting the weekend left overs.

It looks like the place has been half-way remodeled. Some newer furnishings in the lobby, but stains on the hall carpets; the floor in the hallway is noticeably uneven. The room had a nice new sink and faucet, but bathroom outdated. Carpet wasn't very clean and there were stains on the bedspreads. Front desk staff very pleasant. Breakfast very lack-luster […] - out of several things even though it had only been open for 30 minutes when we got there. The front desk staffer was also in charge of the breakfast room which meant she couldn't really keep a close eye on it. Mehr

We were attending a regatta in Rockford, IL and wouldn't be spending a lot of time in a hotel so I was looking for a simple, clean and reasonably priced hotel. This hotel definitely was an excellent fit for us; both the room and premises were clean and well kept, room temperature was great and the staff was friendly.

This motel looked dingy although it wasn't really dirty. It just looked old and tired. My room was right by the stairs/ramp from the original to the addition. It was awkward getting into my room. The bathroom was too small. The heating/cooling system was antiquated and didn't work well. It required my calling the desk to figure out how to get the air […] conditioner on. We booked 2 nights at the Day's Inn even after reading some reviews that gave them a low rating, which we now feel were much too harsh. This is not a "fancy" place, but suited our needs well, was very convenient to the I-system and a good pizza place, and the price was very reasonable. Breakfast was fine - included fruit, hard-boiled eggs, waffles, […] bagels, cereal, etc. Bed was a little hard, but adequate. The front desk person was friendly and helpful. We'd book here again. This hotel was great for a late night stop-over. We checked in at midnight after 6 hrs of travel. We were on the road by 7:30am. Hotel just off the road and clean. Towels were like cardboard but clean. Breakfast was boring but adaquate. We were carrying 3 bicycles and had room to put them in our room. We were in Rockford for a soccer tournament and only needed a place to shower and sleep. We had read the reviews about small rooms in this Days Inn but were willing to chance it for the price. The single room was definitely small and the bathroom was even smaller but it was adequate for the two of us. A family would need to have a larger room. The check […] in went smoothly and the clerk printed out a map with directions to the soccer complex for this Grandma and Grandpa. Sunday morning another clerk directed us to a church which was easy to find. The room was quiet and clean. The continental breakfast area was small and crowded. The selection was limited. We had to wait quite a while to use the one waffle iron. There was no spray for the iron which meant the waffle stuck to it. I am short but have never had a problem with a peep hole. Even standing on my tiptoes, I was not able to see out of this one. There was a good selection of restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend this motel for an individual or a couple who is looking for a clean room at a reasonable price. Mehr

So many bad things, I don't know where to begin. The beds were harder then the floor.All the betting was covered in multiple cigarette burn holes. There were weird painted spots all over the ceiling. The bathroom was so small you couldn't even change your clothes in it. To get the phone to even work you have to pay a $10 fee, so in case of an emergency […] & you need to dial 911 you are out of luck if your cell phone is dead. And on top of all else there was what appeared to be "women of the night" & drug deals going on the in parking lot. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone & will never stay there again. Mehr

The room was clean and had the important things...refigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom was extremely small and shower was not in the best condition. Toilet seat was broken but we did report it to the desk. I would stay there again if I have to go to Rockford.

During our stay, there were numerous things wrong. First, there were kids playing soccer in the parking lot the whole time we were there. I saw them hit our car with their soccer ball twice and the staff did nothing. Second, our "non-smoking" room stank of cigarette smoke and there were cigarette burn marks on the bed spread. Third, the hotel was listed […] on this website to have a fitness room and a hot tub. It didn't have a hot tub and the "fitness room" was an empty guest room with a broken down exercise bike from the early '90s and a treadmill. Fourth, there were dogs barking in the hallway at all hours of the day and night. I understand that the hotel is "pet friendly" but the barking was ridiculous (again, nothing was done about it). Fifth, the breakfast each morning was picked over and we were told that when things were out, that was it. When I spoke to the front desk about the issues, both people told me, "I don't know what I can do, but I will email my general manager about the issues." I have yet to hear back from a manager at all. Mehr

We were there for a BMX National Race and it was miserable. The beds are hard, the bathroom is smaller than an RV bathroom and the breakfast offered was basically nonexistent. Not only did they run out of milk but the front desk lady was gone for over 10 minutes and so we finally walked out and did not eat.
