Baymont Inn and Suites Madison/East - Madison

Hatten bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt ein Upgrade für eine Suite bekommen, bei der Rückkehr nach vier Tagen, haben wir die gleiche Kategorie bzw. sogar die gleiche Suite wiederbekommen. Das ist doch Service

Zuvorkommender Service - Mitarbeiter reagiren sofort auf Hinweise, saubere ordentliche Zimmer, tägliche Reinigung und frische Wäsche, Betten mit gutem Schlafkomfort, Frühstück inclusive (amerikanischer Art). Trotz relativer Flugplatz- und Hauptstraßennähe keine Lärmbelästigung. Auch für längeren Aufenthalt gut zu empfehlen.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when in Madison. It was never special, but the rooms were clean and the price was reasonable. This stay was not enjoyable. There were several shady looking people in the lobby at check-in, the TV in our room needed replacing( there was a discolored streak down the middle of the screen ), and at 4 in the morning […] we were awakened by an fight going on outside our window with 2 men threatening to kill each other. Next trip to Madison, I will stay elsewhere. Mehr

We traveled to this area for a job interview with our 2-year old. The hotel was very clean, had a decent breakfast, and the fitness and laundry rooms were nice to have on a long stay. The only problem with the hotel, and probably not their fault, is there are a lot of live-in people there. If you don't wake up at 6 a.m. to get breakfast, the food is […] pretty much gone by 8 a.m. We watched several people come down and take 3+ servings to their rooms each day we were there. Luckily, 2-year-olds don't sleep...so we got up early. The other additional problem was the attendant at the desk often was in the office. There is not a way to call them for help unless you yell for them. A couple times the attendant would be gone and we had to wait a while to check in and wait a while to get change for vending. The location of the hotel is the best part. It was off the highway and just a short 15-minute drive to the university. The street it is on has several dinning options, strip malls, and various stores available. Mehr

The Baymont Inn is the most friendiless and comfortable hotel I stayed in. The staff there is wonderful and very helpful. I will recommend this hotel to others and its convience with alot of stores to shop and a lot resturants to eat at. Thank you so much Baymont Inn staff making my stay wonderful as always.

Close to Madison (without the high rates), but bad if need to travel into it during the weekday morning.

I want to say that the staff at the Baymont Inn in Madison, Wisconsin is just wonderful. Everytime I am there they are very helpful and friendly at your every need. As far as the hotel its very clean and smell very well. I have no complaints at all with the Baymont Inn. Its convenience in the area is great. I love this hotel very much.

Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to my room. I had two rooms, one area with the bed and full bath and through the adjoining door was a living room with another full bath. First time experiencing such poor quality with Baymont. But cleanliness was HORRIBLE !!! Stained bed sheets, no toilet paper in bathroom, pubic hairs in shower, iron that is about 2 days from starting a fire. I went with Baymont becuase of pleasant past experiences, but have a complete change of opinion after leaving last weekend.. There is NO WAY i […] would recommend that hotel to anyone that i know. When i arrived and checked in some friend of the front desk clerk was talking on the phone loudly and cursing every other word. Hotel directory in room had some sort of goo on it. There was a roach in the bathtub one morning. I was woken up by a guy at 12:15 AM saying the girl told him this was her room number. Checked out as soon as i could to find […] a hotel room elsewhere. I would have to say that the manager on duty was extremely nice and helpful. The only disappointing feature was that the rooms aren't upgraded and the mattresses seemed older and the TV was outdated for the price I paid for the room.

Hotel seemed run down. Breakfast nook was the smallest I had ever seen. Long line to get to waffle maker, which was about the best thing offered at breakfast. TV reception was very bad. The only consolation was that it was relatively inexpensive. If I return to this area, I would not stay here again.

For the price, this was a pretty nice hotel. Was a group of people that seemed to be living there always smoking at the side entrance - kind of uncomfortable coming and going.

This hotel was great for the price. The rooms were very clean, and the staff was super friendly. The only issue is that it doesn't have an airport shuttle (which I would have liked), and it's pretty far from downtown. If you are trying to get close to the downtown area, I'd suggest paying more & staying closer.

I had a 5 night stay at the hotel. The first night I discovered BED BUGS. The desk clerk moved me to another room [he was most graceful & concerned] with a note made to the Manager to call. Manager called once & left a message. Call was returned to the manager with no return call back. Nothing was done to address the issue of BED BUGS in the first  […] room. Mehr

If on a budget, this hotel will fit the bill. Room was very small and outdated but clean. We didn't spend any time in the room besides coming in for the night and crashing...then getting up and immediately leaving the next morning. So if that's your agenda, this will work.

The hotel was clean and convenient. We had previously stayed several times at the other Baymont Inn in Madison, which far outshines this one in the feel of luxury, however, this was was well-kept and clean.

Room was clean, beds comfrotable,maid service on time daily, towels clean and new, heat system good, breakfast bar provided was well maintained daily, staff very helpful, good price. Neighbors very rowdy Fri and Sat nite, very quiet the rest of the week. Would not hesitate to stay again.

This looks like an old hotel that Baymont picked up and slapped their sign on. This is not what I would expect from a Baymont, although after this stay I will be looking to another hotel chain when I travel. The rooms are incredibly tiny, beds are very stiff, pillows are worthless. The walls are paper thin and the neighborhood is sketchy at best. Look […] to the west side of Madison, near the West Towne Mall, for much better neighborhoods and hotels. I've stayed over there as well and the area is much nicer. Mehr

The room was spotless with nice, new furniture/fixtures. The bed was very comfortable and pillows supportive. Employees were pleasant and helpful. Good spot if you want something in Madison not far from I-39, or if you want to visit some of the local restaurants, bars and shops on Madison's East Side without paying the price of a downtown Madison  […] hotel. Stopped in on a cross-country trip for a night. Lots of parking. Mall food court nearby. Room was clean and comfy. Loved the feather pillows.

The location was great and the front desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was alright. The room, however, was extremely noisy. The air conditioner was loud while running and sounded like there was a waterfall gushing inside of it. the thermostat was out of wack. The room was set to the middle of comfort zone and was close to 90 degrees when I arrived.

The room was small but the hotel was comfortable. location was great, the mall was within walking distance.

Less expensive than others, but very small room, hard beds, squeaky doors, vacillating water temps in the shower.

We had difficulty checking in, even with our receipt that we had prepaid with hotels.com. Upon checking in the staff wanted me to pay again. It took 20 minutes to get that squared away. We had booked a nonsmoking room; the room we had reeked of cigarette smoke. The hotel was very noisy. The people above us partied until 4am. It seemed as though they […] we in the same room with us. The noise was terrible. The breakfast room was filthy. You would not want to eat in the breakfast room. Mehr

I love this hotel. The staff there was very helpful. The location was great with all the surrounding resturants and the mall. Keep up the good work Baymont.

Hotel staff were nice. Hotel itself smelled of intense cleaning chemicals and smoke. Although I requested a smoke-free room, it was obvious that the previous guests smoked. In the hallways, the air was thick with smoke, making it difficult to breathe and offensive. It seems that every smoke-free room had the same problem. You get what you pay for - the rooms were a little on the small side. Overall, this hotel was not that impressive. It was a good hotel for the money, but if you are looking for more amenities or are traveling with family, I would consider a different hotel.
