die anbindung mit den öffentlichen verkehrsmitteln zur innenstadt ist super. das frühstück sehr dürftig, aber daß es 24/7 kaffe und tee umsonst gibt, haben wir oft gern genutzt. der preis schlägt alles! dashotel hat seine besten zeiten schon hinter sich. aber für den preis ist es top.

Es ist wirklich so schön, wie sie beschreiben. Die grosszügige und einladende Lobby in der ersten Etage diente u.a. dem Weinempfang aller an diesem Tag anreisenden Gäste. Allerdings scheint die Zeit auf 17 bis 18 Uhr begrenzt zu sein. Eher als Ausnahme bekam ich später noch einen Gutschein für die Bar, die nicht ganz so nett ist, wie die Lobby. Beim Frühstück im benachbarten Bistro muss man wissen, was man wählt, um nicht vom Amerikanischen Geschmack überrascht zu werden.

Zu unserer Ueberraschung war alles viel kleiner, als es in den Bildern erscheint. Der Fotograf hat einen super Job gemacht. Dennoch ist das Hotel eine sehr gute Wahl. Allerdings hatten wir eine Suite. Wir haben das Zimmer-Service-Fruehstueck nie genutzt, da es genug guenstige und gute Alternativen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt.

Es wäre prima, wenn die (Einzel)zimmer besser beleuchtet wären, zum Beispiel mit einer Leselampe.

"Gute Lage mit Theater"
wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Eine Schwierigkeit: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe mehrerer großer Strassenkreuzungen und kann nur von einer Seite dieser großen Straßen aus angefahren werden. Dies ist aus dem Lageplan nicht ersichtlich. Obwohl wir die Gegend kennen, haben wir uns mehrmals verfahren.

I was very impressed with my stay at this hotel. Very helpful, friendly, and effecient staff. The rooms were in great condition and very spacious. Thank you for the shuttle service. The breakfast was also great!

Could offer complimentary internet, other than the coolness of the rooms or lack of a real down comforters on the beds....I had the best time ever! Perfect getaway just to get out of the city for the weekend.

"Inexpensive yet comfy, clean and friendly staff"
We stay here every year for a Christmas party and it's a great hotel stay for the price. The beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and fairly updated. The staff is friendly and we have always had great service. It's next to a large shopping center so this is convenient too. We went to the show and even this small production was very well done with a talented […] cast and good food prior to the show. I booked the hotel on special pricing, for what i paid, the hotel was more than expected. Clean rooms, very confortable beds, WIFI was not free but if your an AT&T DSL customer you get access to free WIFI. Breakfast looked nice but did not eat at hotel. Overall was a nice hotel and I would stay again.

"Location might not be great, but's worth the drive"
For the price, you can't go wrong with this hotel. The rooms are huge and comfortable and parking is free. We were going to visit Chicago and while this hotel is 30 minutes away by car and would have to pay parking Downtown, the math still added in our favor. There are great restaurants close by, including Giordano's with their famous Chicago deep dish […] pizza. We were more than pleased with this choice. Mehr

This is an excellent Hotel. Convenient to Oak Brook Mall and Drury Lane. Very well maintained.

"Problems with the room"
When we got to our room, I noticed that the toliet seat was up (not down as you would expect it to be in a newly cleaned /unused room). Aslo there was a "clump" of black hairs in the bathroom sink. As I was chcecking out I told the desk clerk about it & she appologized & took our breakfast chg off our bill. I didnt ask for them to do that, but I thought […] that was nice and it was fair. Mehr

This hotel says they strictly enforce their noise policy and they are true to their word. It may have been the quietest night I have ever had in a hotel even though there were two weddings when we stayed. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only complaints are that the bath tub is only deep enough for a small child. Don't plan on soaking in a hot […] tub. Also while there is a microwave and mini fridge in a nice wooden cabinet with a sink, the doors to the cabinet are glued shut. There are no dishes or silverware, so if you have take-out or left overs that you want to heat you need to have your own microwavable plate and some utensils of your own. "Alarm"
This is probably a rare instance but fire alarm went off at about 2 in the morning for about 15 mins long woke up my baby in which I had a hard time putting him back to sleep by the time I finally got him to sleep and me it was time to go. Was not offered any consolation fro inconveniece.
This hotel had plenty of room for my husband and I plus our 3 kids loved it. The pool was nice and the work out equipment was great some machines need to be fixed but over all great. Locations was near mall and food

We decided to add another night onto our Chicago trip so we could take the kids to the Brookfield Zoo. We found this Hilton on hotel.com and grabbed what I thought was a good rate (a lot cheaper than our downtown hotel). I was shocked when I walked into the room... it was HUGE and the bedroom was separate from the main living area. The bathroom was […] huge with separate shower and tubs. It was like a suite! We had a baby with us (9 mos.) so didn't take advantage of the surrounding amenities. The hotel catered to our every need! Used pool and restaurant a lot. Comfortable patio. Clean, friendly place for our families to meet. Would definitely go back!

"Not a Good Experience"
Friday evening dinner was not good. The food was over salted. I sent the first order of salmon back because of the salty sauce. They made another salmon filet and served it without the sauce, but someone in the kitchen had put so much salt on the fish that again I could not eat it. The waitress was wonderful and charming. The horrible food was not her […] fault. How can you serve such bad food when you are in the Chicago area that is known for good food???? On Sat evening (between 12 midnight and 1 AM) there was a LOT of noise and shouting with people partying. I could not tell where this noise was coming from, but it was definitely inside the hotel and echoing off the internal walls of the atrium. This went on for about an hour. I had to call hotel security. No, I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. Mehr
"Hotel Itself Fine, But..."
The staff of the hotel is courteous and friendly and the rooms were clean and in good repair. (Although how the night desk clerk can not know where the nearest 24-hour restaurant is, I don't understand. It's Kappy's on Roosevelt west of the hotel if you need to know.) The bed and the sofabed were both comfortable in my King Suite and the room is nicely […] laid out. However, it's an atrium hotel with windows that face west: it was HOT in there and the A/C could not keep up. Granted that's a lot to ask since it was about as hot as it gets in Chicago, but since they also turn the thermostat up in empty rooms, my A/C had to run literally all night (I turned it on about 5 PM) to get the room to a comfortable temperature. Also, it's really hard to go anywhere quickly from the hotel itself due to the configuration of the surrounding streets. You can, realistically, only leave eastbound on Roosevelt, and then you have to do cloverleaf turns to get pointed anywhere else. If you are going downtown, this isn't a problem as the exit puts you right on the expressway, but if you have business in the area, you might be happier if you find a hotel with better access to surface streets.
