Best Western Atrium Gardens - Elizabethtown

We called ahead for a King Suite with Jacuzzi because it was our anniversary and we couldn't find anything in Louisville due to the Derby. When we got there, they had not saved one for us and told us they couldn't do anything to make up for it because we prepaid online. Then the hot water wasn't working the next morning and again we were told there […] was a maintenance person on the way but they couldn't make any allowances because we paid online. We definitely did not get our money's worth out of this stay. I am usually pretty tolerant and understanding because I work in retail and service the public myself, but this effort by the staff to accomodate us was pathetic. Mehr

The only problem I had was when I called the front desk for A TV remote. After explaining that I had searched the entire room for it I was just told well I will see if I can find you one and never heard back.The pool was out also during our stay,Staff very friendly and courteous other then that!

Nothing like the pics! Hotel staff was not courteous! Shouldve been our first sign. No microwave, nor mini fridge nothing about this hotel is welcoming nor clean! Our stay at this hotel was so much better last year when we stayed there.The room was nice but the breakfast was not good the next morning.There was hardly any food, the hostess brought out a little bit at a time and by the time it was put out it was gone. I ended up having a bowl of cereal and a banana. They should not advertise breakfast if they cannot […] afford to put out food. I don't know if I would stay there next year when we travel. The first room we were given was in complete disarray...pictures off the walls, the bathroom had no walls, just curtains, the mattresses were leaning up against the walls, and there was no elevator, so we had to drag our stuff up the stairs. The second room was on the ground floor, and it was adequate, but not a suite as the website implied. We stayed […] two nights, and the only maintenance that was done to the room was to replace the towels and soap and toilet paper, no beds were made, the trash wasn't emptied, no new cups were given. Check in was quick and easy, room overall was pleasant. Only drawback was that I had white socks on while walking on the carpet in the room and they were black by the end of the night. Rooms were nice and clean. Was a quiet room. Front desk staff checking in was Great, checking out not so nice.....free breakfast was Awesome, best free breakfast I have ever had!

The beds were comfy, room was clean, staff was friendly. The common hall carpet probably could have been replaced, but it was clean....just worn excessively. Overall, we had a great stay and will stay again the next time we make this trip.

It wasn't a "horrible" experience, but within the first 15 minutes of arriving both the doorknob to our room and the "cold" handle on the sink of the ladies restroom came off in my hand. The staff does not smile (except one member of housekeeping) and two of the three drink vending machines we tried didn't work.

The pool was small and my kids loved it. I wish I had taken photos. The breakfast was very good.

Hotel was average. Toilet was broke and we ran out of hot water on the first, and only, shower taken. Mini fridge, that the front office said we didn't have, didnt work (so they were partially right). That being said, we had a restful night, a good breakfast and the staff was friendly.

The staff was very helpful.. the hotel is just old. The carpet actually sags. Our first room had what appeared to be brown old glue under the bath matt (which floated) so we switched rooms (with no questions by the staff). The second room the tub didnt drain. we just went with it bc it wasnt the staff's fault and there is a point at night when you just […] want to go to sleep. The pool is lovely. The breakfast is stale and lacking. If you like waffles it is great, no eggs or meat, fruit was the look good but have no taste red apples. Mehr

They put me in a room with a broken door lock. I had several staff members help me into my room for the 1st 2 days of my stay. Everyone of them told me I should complain about the lock so they would finally fix it. I finally went 2 the front destk and requested a different room. They did accomidate me with a new room. Cleanliness was as excellent as my earlier stay...only this time my room was in a newer section of hotel and I was provided with an in-room refrigerator, microwave and iron & ironing board. Breakfast was top-notch again and my overall stay and impression of the Best Western Atrium could not be higher nor more pleasurable! Thank you

We were just passing thru, and stayed one night, but thought it was clean and the service was great. I was traveling with a pet (small dog) and it was nice that it was pet friendly. Very good location, very good surrounding restaurants, noisy at night, some vending machines need new compressors. Needs minor cosmetic work. Little pricey for what you get. Overall a 6.5 on a 10 scale.

This was a nice place to stay. Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel, and Texas Roadhouse are good places to eat. The staff was friendly and nice. Great place to stay.
