Das Hotel lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Tolle große Zimmer mit allem erdenklichen Komfort. Im Badezimmer sogar ein Whirlpool! Toll wäre, wenn bei der Größe des Zimmers im Wohnbereich das Sofa eine Schlafcouch mit Aufbettung für die 3. und 4. Person eingerichtet wäre. Aber, das ist nur eine Anregung, keinerlei Kritik.Die Lage ist auch klasse, nur ein etwa 150 langer Spaziergang und man ist mitten auf dem Strip. Wenn wir mal wieder kommen, würden wir sehr gern wieder hier wohnen!!

Wir waren 5 Tage in Las Vegas im Trump. Das Hotel hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Strip, ist sehr ruhig und hat kein Casino, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Daher auch eine Nichtraucherunterkunft. Shuttel zum Caesars Pallace alle 15min, ansonsten ist man aber auch zu Fuss gleich am Strip und kann bequem durch die Fashion Show mall flanieren. Uns hat es super gefallen. Das Hotel erhebt allerdings eine Ressort-Gebühr von 25$ pro Tag. Damit ist aber Internet etc. inklusive.

Sehr Zentral nur der lange Weg vom Parkplatz zum Zimmer ist einfach zu lang.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, leider wurde bei unseren 2 Übernachtungen nach der ersten Nacht wohl vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen, ok gibt schlimmeres, man kann ja die Handtücher auch 2x benutzen und da man in Vegas eh erst spät zurück ins Zimmer kommt, gehts halt mal in ein ungemachtes Bett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird zur Zeit umgebaut, wir haben davon aber nichts mitbekommen, das Zimmer war schön ruhig. Da man direkt in der Freemont Street wohnt, kann man, sofern man nicht auf den Vegas Strip möchte, sein Auto stehen lassen und auch mal ein paar Drinks mehr zu sich nehmen. Die Freemont Street hat sich noch ein wenig den ursprünglichen Charme und Charakter von Vegas erhalten, es gibt hier sogar noch einige Casinos, wo man noch mit Münzen in den Slotmachines spielen kann. Wer mehr als nur 1-2 Nächte in Vegas verbringt, sollte sich diesen Teil der Stadt unbedingt auch mal anschauen, es lohnt sich. Wir würden beim nächsten Vegas Aufenthalt in diesem Hote auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

Das Hotel in Pyramidenform liegt etwas am Rande des bekannten "Strips" von Las Vegas. Ein grosses und deshalb anonymes Hotel. Zimmer sind sauber und gross. TV ist steinalt (Röhren-TV!) und eines solchen Hotels unwürdig, wobei man ja in Las Vegas nicht fernsehen will... Am meisten gestört: Auf den abgemachten Preis kommen noch allerhand Gebühren und […] Taxes dazu, die kein Mensch durchschauen kann... Grundsätzlich i.O., würde aber nächstes Mal eher ein anderes Hotel auswählen... Mehr

"Gute Lage, aber renovationsbedürftig"
Super Lage, aber das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich..Personal sehr unfreundlich, jeder Handgriff muss extra bezahlt werden. Buffet hat im Vergleich zu unserem letzten Aufenthalt sehr an der Auswahl abgenommen.Nicht empfehlenswert!

"In die Jahre gekommen"
Das Hotel müsste renoviert werden. Man sieht die 15 Jahre die es hat. Hatte einen SPA Suite, Zimmer war sauber und die Bedienung war auch ok. Die vorhandenen Bilder über die Zimmer stimmen nicht überein!!! Ich hätte mehr für so ein Hotel erwartet. Das nächste mal wenn ich nach Las Vegas gehe, so nehme ich wohl eher MGM oder César sehr schöne Hotels […] . Mehr
"Luxor"
3 Nächte, ideal um den Strip erlebt zu haben. Das Luxor liegt ziemlich am Ende des Strips. Zimmer sind sauber und angenehm. Im Zimmer auf dem 9. Stock hört man nichts von dem Casino etc. Weshalb es im ganzen Luxor kein WIFI Zugang gibt, ist für mich fragwürdig.

In Las Vegas gibt es eine solche Vielzahl an tollen Hotels, bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt dort werde ich bestimmt nicht noch einmal im Luxor wohnen. Die Zimmer sind alt und düster, genau wie das Hotel selbst auch. Weder im Zimmer noch in anderen Hotelbereichen gab es WiFi...kaum vorstellbar in der heutigen Zeit...da wir doch in jedem 2-stern Motel […] direkt am Highway gartis Wireless-Empfang hatten.... Mehr

"Great Price, Poor Hotel Upkeep"
The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.
Had a great time at the Luxor. Close to everything.

very nice hotel, elevators take a while to get used to since they are called inclinators not elevators [trippy]. the pool is super nice with a pool side bar and servers. i paid for the chases with the umbrellas and cushions well worth the 25.00. didn't see any shows so i can,t coment on them.the buffet was very good to, opt for the 2 wrist band for […] 32 dollars ea for the buffets, wish did. "Strip hotel at great price"
It was a great price for one of the more upscale strip hotels. Hotel was very nice with a huge pool. The hotel is connected to 2 other which I guess are owned by the same company so you can get to all of them. They have a good assortment of restruants including some low cost as well as high end.

I thought our stay there was great, the family really enjoyed it. We only stayed for one night due to flight being cancelled and wished we had stayed there for the entire trip! The hotel staff were great, check in was a breeze maybe 5 minutes. Our room was really comfortable, the only complaint I would have about it is the air conditioner, it really […] didnt function well but I believe that is because it was old. The lady that maintained our room was super great, above and beyond as far as Im concerned. She really went the extra mile to make our stay more pleasant. The shows in the hotel were outstanding, and we were close to alot of other attractions and dining establishments. I would definetely recommend this Hotel to friends and family. Mehr

"another business trip"
The Luxor carries a very well regarded name umongst hotels/casino/resorts in Las Vegas. The property is beginning to really show its age and I don't believe the overall condition of the property is where it should be for a reputation like theirs. The staff was friendly and competent but the small items like trays, glasses, towels sitting in the hallway […] from 9pm (I went to room) until 830 next morning (I left my room) still there, are the small items that need to be addressed. Maintenence items such as wallpaper torn or curling and carpet that desperately needs replacement are the upkeep items I didn't think I would be writing about. I actually expected more quality. Mehr
"Comfy and Quiet"
We stayed in the pyramid and I was pleasantly suprised how quiet it was in our room with the casino, check-in, and restaurant/bar activity 10 floors below. It was even quieter than most tower rooms I've stayed in. The bed was comfy and the room clean.

This hotel should be torn down. The room smelled of smoke, the hallway was filthy and the bathroom was dirty.
"Needs a facelift"
Stayed in a pyramid room. Stuffy feeling in the room because they don't ventilate to conserve on energy (even though Vegas will waste on neon lights). Shower looked outdated. Elevators were creaking. Basically, I stayed here due to price and proximity to Mandalay Bay, where I like to eat. Often, you get what you pay for.
"A little disappointed"
We were 'upgraded' upon arrival to a room that had no view and never dropped below 80 despite our running the AC continuously. Thankfully, the room was clean and quiet. We were not impressed by the food either. On the plus side, the valets who handled our vehicle were cheery and very helpful.

There were really nothing wrong, but as said by many other reviewers as well, this ain't build this century so it can be seen. Otherwise there were nothing to complain really. Pyramid room was spacious enough, it didn't smell (I ask new room, if and when so happens) and everything was working. To walk around Strip, this is not perfectly located as this […] is at south end of the Strip, but whole south Strip is easily accessible from this hotel. Luxor is well connected to the next hotel Excalibur so either one you choose, you pretty much can have same services under same roof. Mehr

"Great room at the luxor"
the last time i stayed in the Luxor was in 95 or 6 when they first opened up. Hotels.com had a great rate and decided to stay again. I got a room on the 28th floor and the room was nice. I don't remember the room i got last time, but this one seemed upgraded. had a nice west view. The main areas, like the elevators and certain parts seemed beat up after […] all these years of so many people in and out. the cool thing is the sideways traveling elevators. I went the pool are to look around and it was clean and spacious. First time i have seen it as the last time it was winter time. i did not go to any of the restaurants inside. My past experience was with the buffet and it was not good. have never ate there since. Overall it was a nice place. i usually go again in the summer and this time it will definately be one the list of possible places to stay. Mehr

The room was very average and had an odor to it that smelled like smoke. Elevators were creaky and shaky. If you are going for just a night and need a reasonable place to stay this is the one. Overall not too bad.

"My Military Reunion Weekend"
I really loved this hotel, it was extremely large and beautiful, the only complaint that I have is there was no microwave and they charge you $25 for a mini fridge, I felt tat for the cost of the hotel they should be in the rooms, we had a great time.
"Air conditioning in rooms doesn't work"
Enjoyed the casino - restaurants were great - Carrot Top show was awesome! But air conditioning in room couldn't keep up and we were there in April, can't imagine what the room would be like in the summer.
It's getting old and it shows. I think they could do a lot more with the Egyptian theme, being inside a pyramid should be cooler than it was.

We enjoyed the Luxor. It was easy to find our way around on the ground floor, unlike many of the large casinos/hotels. The check-in process was quick and we were able to check-in early - which was a bonus for us. The elevators was extraordinary in that they move at an angle not up and down. Pretty cool. We checked in and originally received a room on the 20th floor of the pyramid. I probably should have read the reviews before but there is only elevator from on each floor and you must walk around the entire pyramid in some cases to get to your room. Of course we received a room at the farthest point from the elevator (I think because we booked a discounted […] room though hotels.com) The room was very hot as the AC was not working. We called the front desk and they sent someone up to look at and service the AC. It cooled slightly more but after sweating through the night we requested a new room. Our next room was located in the East Tower and was much nicer. Room was cool and modern. Mehr
