Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zwischen Union Station und Capitol. Von hier aus sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Mit dem Bus "Circulator" kann man sich gut und günstig in der Stadt bewegen.

Alles Prima, wer aber WLAN braucht muss 10 Dollar/Tag zahlen oder im Lobby sitzen. Sonst TOP.

Lage: praktisch für Zugreisende nahe des Union Station Bahnhofes, problemlos zu Fuß erreichbar Nahe Capitol Zimmer und Service top Frühstück: Nicht im Preis inbegriffen und relativ teuer, aber für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Die direkte Umgebung ist nicht so schön, nur große Hotels und Bürohäuser. Dafür nahe am Capitol und Chinatown. Schlechte, sehr langsame Internetverbindung.

Das einzig schlechte an dem Hotel war die laute Klospülung. Ansonsten ist dieses Hotel zu 100% weiter zu empfehlen! Die Lage ist ebenfalls sehr gut, nur ca. 8 Gehminuten vom Capitol entfernt und ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu einer großen Metro-/Busstation (Union Station).

Zentrale Lage, 3,5 Sterne voll gerechtfertigt, Restaurant (Frühstück, Dinner) ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert.

The lobby of the hotel was very cold so that the difference of the outside and inside temperature was very big. I caught a cold within the first day. Rooms were huge but the bathroom was quite old and not very clean. Room service was very friendly. The location of the hotel was great, you can walk within 5 minutes to the Washington Mall and Union Station. […] Breakfast was not included but it was very good. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal für eine kurze Städtereise. Leider waren die Angestellten der Rezeption nicht sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Sehr schönes Hotel Modern mit allem Konfort

We were there for a function in DC and spent little time at the hotel. I was impressed when we arrived in am before some people had checked out from previous night and they offered to put us in a room early. Staff is courteous, hotel is clean, well appointed and room was comfortable for this family with pre-teen kids. We needed a fridge for medication […] and they brought it up promptly. Short walk to Union Station. We walked the 15 min to the Convention Center and then to Chinatown for dinner and back with ease. I would definitely stay there again. Mehr

It was my first time to visit DC - I was shocked by the parking situation. The hotel charges $43 a night for parking, and they don't put that info out dry effectively... Otherwise - it was great!

Near Capitol Hill, walking distance. Comfortable room. We stay only overnight. I wish we could stay more.

2 thumbs up for everything except the $43 a night for parking.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and our room was spacious and nicely furnished with a huge bathroom. The hotel was 5 mins walk from union station and the Capitol building and the national mall. The only downside was that we like to walk everywhere and coming back late at night to the hotel was a little daunting as the […] neighbourhood is a business area and fairly deserted except for several homeless types who seem to gather on the next block . They never bothered us but I don't think we'd have walked back late at night if there were less than the 4 of us having said that we walk around London in worse areas regardless and to be fair there are plenty of taxis which are reliable and cheap right by the hotel so don't let this put you off as the hotel is good value and convenient . There's a metro bus that only costs a dollar at the top of the road that will take you to georgetown which is a great destination for shopping and eating and all public transport is used by all types of people from falimilies to business men and college students so we felt very safe. My only sticking point of the hotel is no free wifi in the room which annoys me as I've stayed in very cheap motels and hotel chains around the states that offer this service yet it seems the pricier the hotel the more you have to pay for such a basic necessity in this day and age. However there is free wi fi in the lobby which is a pleasant and comfortable area to relax in and the business ares let's you print out your boarding passes for free so top marks for that. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and would definitely stay here again. Mehr

The room wasn't as nice as we had expected and the toilet flushed so loudly we just had to laugh, but everything else was awesome! Prepare yourself for expensive parking if you choose to drive here.

It's a great hotel for it's price. The room is comfortable with nice beds. The only complain is the fee of $10 per device per day for wifi. They only have free wifi in a very small area in the lobby.

Pluses: * Large room with comfortable bed * Large, renovated bathroom * The valet was very friendly and directed us to attractions * Large, grandiose lobby Minuses: * Cover for heater damaged and hanging off the wall * They claimed they never got our request for a roll-away bed in the reservation from hotels.com. Their response to this problem was […] to blame hotels.com for the miscommunication and tell us that all the beds were being used and my son would have to sleep on the floor. They eventually did get us a bed (with a broken wheel). * The ice machine on the 5th floor was out of ice so I had to go the 4th * $43 a night for valet parking * $10 a day for Internet access, free in the lobby * Top bar for hanging clothes missing from closet * The hotel is showing its age - dirty caulk in bathroom, dirty revolving door at entrance Mehr

This hotel is just average. Room was clean enough, but not nearly enough towels provided for 5 people, and dining within the hotel is WAY too expensive. Our poor daughter had to sleep on the floor because even though we were told there would be a roll-away bed in our room, none were available.

Good location and walking distance to the National Mall. However Internet connection was bad so not worth the charge. Parking expensive. But for the price and the location we are quite satisfied.

The house keeping more or less ignored our room. Also it was clear that the room for a longer time has not received the proper attention with many spots and dirt. Will not recommend. The staff was not rude - but also not really friendly.

Lovely hotel in a great location for all the monuments etc. Great rooms, very clean and comfortable. staff friendly, use of WIFI but only in Hotel lobby, the charges for WIFI in the room are extortionate they charge per device per night! WIFI reception was poor too! There's not much else around this area in the form of places to eat at night apart from […] Union Station food court where you can get burgers and other fast food. Mehr

We stayed for three nights and had a great time in Washington. Hotel is situated close to Union Station and is on the 48hr hop on hop off route. Room was clean and well presented. A little dissipointed there was no safe in the hotel room so we had to use the safes at receiption. Hotel staff were very helpful

My family stayed here for a weekend in DC, mostly because it was close to the Mall and Metro. The room was very clean and updated, and the bathroom was sizeable. Also, the desk staff was very helpful. Since we were on a tight budget (VERY tight), I wasn't handing out $10 tips left and right. But I did what I could, and didn't expect dirty looks from […] the staff. And on leaving the hotel, the doorman deliberately ignored us while we tried to get our bags out of the lobby. And we really didn't expect items to go missing from the car. Yes I know, you're not supposed to leave valuables in the car. But under a pile of papers and junk, at the bottom of the center storage unit, was the iPod. It wasn't out on the dashboard; they had to go digging for it. A sour note to the end of an otherwise lovely trip. Mehr

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, Lobby Wifi was a bit intermittent. Grocery store about 1 mile away.

Close to Union Station and the Capitol; sandwich shops and a coffee shop nearby. Courteous staff, clean room, decent neighborhood. I was able to "run the mall" with a nice three-block walk from the hotel to warmup and one to cool down on the return. Will stay there again.

Great location for anyone having business on Capital Hill. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.Accomadations fine. Good value for money. Restaurant somewhat dissapointing. Service was not great. Smudged/dirty menu somewhat off putting.That said I would be happy to stay here again.

Enjoyed this hotel with my girlfriend. Good location

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Great location, nice rooms. Sadly, we did not have a positive experience with the staff that many others had. When we arrived we were early but I wanted to see if our room was available and I wasn't sure what time we could check in. The woman at the front desk was scowling at me before I even said […] a word. I explained that I knew we were early but wasn't sure when check in was. She spit out that it was at 4:00 and then asked for my ID. Proceeded to check me in (which was great!) without even saying the room was ready. Was annoyed I didn't have my valet ticket yet (we weren't even sure if we could check in yet so my husband had the car outside, which I explained). In general, she seemed very annoyed to be there that day. Now all the men working the valet during our trip were friendly, would remember my son, and were helpful. We called for a crib to be brought up. An hour later it still hadn't arrived, so we were stuck waiting. After calling again, the woman who answered the phone seemed surprised it hadn't arrived yet. It did get dropped off a few minutes later. Overall we enjoyed the hotel, but my first impression was disappointing. Mehr

The hotel room was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Great location. A short walk to Union Station, The Verizon Centre and the Capitol Building. Had only one small problem with the hotel, there is a fire station a short distance away and the trucks would sound their horns when they left the station, at all hours.
