I wanted a decent hotel near sawgrass mills and though this Holiday Inn would be perfect. Boy were we wrong! Upon entering our hotel room, we smelled something burning. The AC burned out. So we had to go to the front desk to transfer to another room. Once we were in the other room, relaxing, two women with their suitcases entered our room. Obviously […] we we're startled to see people entering our private quarters! Apparently, one of the employees double booked our room. So, instead of allowing us to stay in that room we were moved to another room ---a THIRD room. Other than the hassle we had to go through moving room to room, here are other issues you should know: -Closet door was broken and could not open it (two rooms we observed) -porch door was locked from the outside and we could not access it (two rooms from what we observed) - cigarette burns on the comforter - dirty, stained towels Mehr

The room was attractive, but in poor condition. The closet doors difficult to slide. Clock radio not easily reset. Toilet seat needed fixing. Tub bottom very slippery, asked for tub mat, was told "not available". All in All the hotel needs refurbishing. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Nice hotel, great free shuttle. Only non-positive thing happened upon check in. They start check-in at 3, and I had read reviews saying they didn't get the bed size requested, so I got there at 3:20. The first thing they said was that all there king beds were gone. After 20 minutes? After some complaining they did upgrade me to a suite, so no problems […] there. Nice room, clean and comfortable. The shuttle driver, whose name I never got, was great. Quick ride to BAC, and when the hotels phones were down so i couldn't request the shuttle back to the hotel he was right there after the show anyway. Great hotel, great staff. Can only suggest they need to get more king beds or at least inform people if all of the 2 are taken already. Mehr

Excellant location(close to mall), food & pool within the property, very convenient to several activities. We would highly recommend to anyone.

Room wasn't ready upon 2 pm arrival, asked for a balcony and recieved the comp upgrade when checking back a few hours later. Courtyard and pool area nice. Undergoing light renovations on the outside, didnt affect stay.

Very nice hotel, very nice area... close enough to shopping centers... the only thing missing is a fridge in the room and free breakfast included...

Good location when visiting family.

Even after confirming my reservation prior with the GM of the hotel, Joseph Zaffuta, at 3PM check-in my category of room was not ready and first thing out of reception's mouth was do I want to pay to upgrade to a suite! I opted for the 2 Queen room in lieu of the King no problem. I found room 302 was sweltering with a dead A/C. Immed. changed to 516 […] which they said was King (not!), with a broken running/noisy toilet, dead alarm clock radio set to the wrong time, critical as backup to wake for an early all day professional seminar, and bathroom vanity light sconces that took 3 mins to light. The replacement alarm clock's radio was all static and the toilet tank went right back to an unending fill mode after the first flush. The business center computer was corrupt with multiple warnings that no updates had been run and cautions advised that no security software was installed. My gmail account warned the software hadn't been updated in so long, flags appeared to expect some functions not to work. There wasn't even a log off tab so I worried about my info being secure. This no update status was the same for every commonly used site. There was not even a chair available for this bus. ctr. computer and I and subsequent guests were on our knees. To those booking functions here, take heed, as F&B staff did not even put out pitchers of water/glasses for our group of 70 until well into the meeting making for an uncomfortable first hour! The power went out near the end of our 10 seminar hour seminar, causing us to abandon ship 1 hr early as the ballrooms were over 80'F, no A/C generator backup here. Food for our group was great (if you like only dark meat chicken which I don't), the pool was lovely, staff friendly, the rooms squeaky clean, nice flat screen TV's.. Bed pillows were tiny, linens cheap and rough. The A/C noise in the room was unusually loud, which was a common theme in other reviews from guests having difficulty sleeping at this property. Hotel was nice, restaurant was fantastic.

The one night we spent at Holiday Inn was ok away from having a little trouble going to sleep because of the heavy noise the A/C was making, but everything was pretty good and yes i would recommend a friend to stay at Holiday Inn.

This is a very good hotel for the price. It had previously been a Hilton facility and was taken over by Holiday Inn and the hotel and restaurant are much improved. The rooms are nicely furnished, service is good, the restaurant and food are likewise very good.

My hotel reservation was in 2 parts: 4 nights in 1 King room and 3 nights in the same room. Upon check-in they immediately upgraded us from a King standard room to a King Suite because of our lengthy stay which was nice. Upon exiting the elevator, I noticed the hallway carpet smelled like mildew. Upon entrance to the room it smelled like someone had […] been smoking. The room was clean except the bathroom sink was a little dirty.The bed was very comfortable. I also liked the littel outlets in the desk and bed stand lamps. A couple of times I had to call housekeeping to come clean the room. The airconditioner stared leaking on the 3rd night and maintenance left dust all over the bed and floor in an attempt to suck up the wetness in the carpet. So they moved us to another (King sutie) room the next morning. This room was a little nicer in that it had a microwave and sink in addition to mini fridge. As we stayed in many Holiday Inns before this one was an exception to the normal high standards. - Although front desk personnel is friendly, - The pool is not heated: really too cold to swim in. - The pool walking area is covered with stones, so you cannot walk barefoot. - The fitness area was being cleaned: employees chatted for 15 minutes and broomed […] the carpet! No vaccuum cleaner? The carpet was extremely filthy. - We had coupons for breakfast and the employees didn't know how that worked. At check-in they explained that kids eat for free and don't need a coupon, and that we could choose anything from the menu as there wasn't a buffet service. - The gum-chewing barely English-speaking waiter was pretty rude about the coupons. So we went to the reception with him. - The restrooms in the main building hadn't been cleaned for at least 24 hours as I found the same filthy toilets at breakfast (same spots) - The bathtub didn't flush properly. So showering while shaving means loose hairs everywhere. - Warm water comes after 3 minutes. - After housekeeping, some large cluttered hairs in the tub. - Bed was comfy. Mehr

rates within reason; room clean, check in/out fast - a/c was loud since it's by head of bed, TV was out of date and in need of repair w/color and volume - otherwise everything was good. few miles south of hotel was several places to choose from for dinner

rooms refurbished but very dirty hairs in bed and bathroom unfriendly staff

We were situated on the 4th floor when the power went out. The staff was nice and advised that the power would be back on in 15 minutes. It never came back on. We had no lights in the bathroom and could not see our noses in front of our faces. The hotel was close to The Bank Atlantic Center where we attended a concert. I had a king size room and it was extremely comfortable. Entire hotel was very well maintained.

excelente localização , quarto amplo , sendo unico defeito visto foi a falta de cofre no quarto

Ótima localização para quem quer fazer compras no outlet. Quarto excelente!

Det krävs bil och ligger nära Sawgrass mill, en stor outlet. Det är lätt att ta sig till olika ställen. Det är inte gångavstånd till aktiviteter.
