Das einzige was negativ war ist das es sehr viele Schnacken/Mücken im Zimmer gab. Gegenüber in einer Anlage gab es einen See ein Paradies für Blutsauger. Hatte jede Nacht so um die 10 Stück auf dem Gewissen ;-).

Wir haben zu viert ein Raucherzimmer gebucht mit dem Wunsch wenn möglich auf ein Nichtraucherzimmer wechseln zu können. Leider waren alle NR-Zimmer belegt, das Zimmer roch aber trotzdem nicht störend nach Rauch. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, der Einrichtungsstil schon ein wenig älter, aber sehr komfortabel. Für Personen war wirklich genug Platz und durch die Kochnische / Wohnbereich saß man auch nicht zu eng aufeinander. Parken konnte man rund um das gesamte Hotel mit mehreren Eingängen was sehr geschickt war. Das Hotel lag nahe einer viel befahrenen Straße, was aber in den Zimmern nicht zu hören war. Alle Attraktionen in Orlando waren bequem mit dem Auto zu erreichen und die verschiedenen Einkaufs- und Essenmöglichkeiten (Walmart, McDonalds, Burger King, Dennys...) gegenüber waren echt praktisch. Das Frühstück war nichts besonderes (Bagel Joghurt Kaffee O-Saft Tee) aber ausreichend für einen guten Start in den Tag.
Lage
Rosen Inn, closest to Universal liegt in Orlando (Universal Orlando - International Drive North). In der Nähe befinden sich: Wet N' Wild, Universal Studios Orlando und Universal's Islands of Adventure. Nicht weit entfernt befinden sich: Pirate's Dinner Adventure und Titanic – The Experience.

International Drive ist bestens bekannt für das Universal Orlando Resort, in dem sich zwei Themenparks befinden: Islands of Adventure und die Universal Studios. Zudem finden sich hier der Wasserpark Wet 'n Wild und die Unterhaltungsmeile CityWalk. Der I-Ride Trolley (eigentlich ein Bus) hält an vielen Stellen entlang der Straße. Am nördlichen Ende des International Drive befinden sich zwei Shopping-Attraktionen: Prime Outlets Orlando und The Mall at Millenia.

Hotel sauber, Safe auf dem Zimmer, Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen. Frühstücken kann man im Hotel, war aber für den gleichen Preis in den umliegenden Steakhäusern umfangreicher und besser. Ärgerlich: check-out time ist 11.00 Uhr, das Zimmermädchen hatte aber unser Zimmer schon vor 10.oo Uhr fertig gemacht, (wir waren frühstücken und hatten dabei schon […] unser Gepäck ins Auto geräumt). Als wir zurück kamen, stand die Zimmertüre offen, der Kühlschrank war geleert, aber unsere Wertsachen Gott sei dank noch im geschlossenen Safe. Man hat sich entschuldigt und den ausgeschütteten Wein ersetzt. Wir würden das Hotel dennoch empfehlen - die Zimmer waren frisch renoviert, der I-Trolley hält direkt vor dem Haus. Mehr
"Super"
Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Gute Lage, gutes Zimmer! Frühstück kostet zwar 6 $ extra, ist dafür aber richtig gut. Das einzige Frühstücksbuffet in US bei dem es auch frisches Obst gab ;-) (Erdbeeren, Melonen, Weintrauben etc.) Für einen Kurztripp in Orlando absolut zu empfehlen.

"Sehr gute Lage."
Vom Hotel Rosen kann man den Park Wet´n Wild zu Fuß erreichen. Auch die anderen Parks wie Univesal Studios und See World sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.
"Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis"
Sehr schön renoviertes Zimmer. Wir waren überrascht, bei diesem günstigen Preis auch einen Safe im Zimmer vorzufinden. Sehr nahe zu Universal Studios und einer grossen Outletshop-Mall. Bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt in Orlando würden wir dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen. "Ausgezeichnete Lage"
Dieses Hotel liegt ausgezeichnet , und ist für Ausflügler zu empfehlen. Solider Service und schönes Zimmer. Minus das zu kleine Bad mit WC. Das Bad ist nicht grösser als 1,5 mal 1,5 Meter. Einschecken hat ein bischen lämger gedauert,da das Zimmer noch nicht fertig gereinigt war.Ansonsten für Kurz Trips in Ordnung.

"Universal Park Vacation"
Rosen Inn is the closest hotel to Universal, besides the Universal Resort hotels. We walked home one night from City Walk and it was only about 20 minutes at the most. Also, the free shuttle is very convenient to get there before the park opens and right after it closes. The room was very clean and the pool area was perfect. "Sister vacation"
The Location was fabulous! Hotel was clean, beds comfortable and staff very friendly and accommodating. My sister and I had a ball for a really economical price.

I will never stay there again they put me in a hotel room on the third floor and I had a baby with a crib and lot of luggage no elevator and they said the could not move me to a room with a elevator in the hotel it was bad service all round!

Upon arrival, we were about 1/2 earlier than check in. It was not a problem at all. We brought with us our meduim size dog, and was quite pleased with the room. We thought because there were dogs allowed that the rooms would smell of them. THEY DID NOT. There was security that walked the property to make sure that all was quiet. We absolutly loved the […] location, 1 block from Wet N Wild and about a 5 minute drive to Universal. The restaurant was great. I would for sure recommend this to anyone and we will BE BACK. We enjoyed our stay at the Rosen Inn, the room was great and very clean. the locatio was fantastic . We had Dinner at the Shogun in the Hotel and the food was great and the service great also. It is located very close to Universal and Wet&Wild. We have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed.

"Not the Greatest Stay"
I preregistered at the front desk when I first arrived. I wasn't allowed an early check in but I was assured that both rooms that I paid for would be next to each other. The hotel kept our bags as we spent the day Universal's Islands of Adventure. When we returned, I was notified that there were no 2 rooms available that were next to each other. Our […] rooms were apparently given away. No explanation or reasonable apologies were given. Bad service. The rooms were semi-adequate. Although I can't blame the hotel for what I assume was a bad guest, there was door slaming almost every other minute from midnight til 1 AM. When checking out, I asked for a receipt for my rooms. They gave me only 1 receipt for 1 room. It was for a room that I or guests did not stay in. Very questionable. Mehr

The hotel was not in the best condition. It was outdated and dingy looking and there was an unappealing smell throughout the hotel. The cleanliness of the room was poor everything from the grout, towels to the rug. Will not stay there again.

Room was small no luggage stand rust filled iron with smelly ironing board. Gameroom was misrepresented it is very small no life guard at pool. If I were staying longer than two days I would have checked out early.

This hotel was as described by other reviewers; clean and helpful staff. Our room was supposed to be 2 queen sized beds-- it was a little cramped in the bathroom area for more than 2 people, and the beds were doubles. We got in late, so didn't bother trying to change rooms for only one night. It was fine for a short visit. The breakfast buffet was decent […] for the price, and great coffee! The only thing lacking was a better selection of fresh fruit. There was French toast, pancakes, regular toast, sugared cereals and milk, sausage, bacon, scrambled "eggs", grits, oatmeal, and a few other things I don't recall. Very helpful tour guides in the lobby as well. Free shuttle to Universal took an hour on the way to the park, due to the bus stopping at many other hotels along the way. But since we were the first stop on the way there, we were also the first to be dropped off on the way back, taking only about 10-15 min. Good overall experience! Mehr

The hotel is centrally located and was extremely clean, comfortable and the front desk staff was very pleasant...great food nearby and if u get a room up top it will be an awesome view of international drive and universal.....highly recommend this place....and the price was awesome as well!!

Place isn't bad for a 1 night stay but it is an older hotel and it shows despite having been renovated. This is a 2 star hotel in my opinion, not a 3. Know that they do charge for breakfast (the quality of which was fairly average). On the plus side, very close to universal. On International Drive, lots of restaurants, shopping, things to do. The shuttle bus stops right in front of the hotel, so you don't even have to drive. We enjoyed our stay and plan on returning.

I love a good hotel air conditioner and the Rosen a/c was out of control! I felt like I was in the Artic! Overall a very clean hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet. "Small but convenient"
The location is amazing you can walk to the shops and attractions near by. The room was small but for 2 people it was perfect, the only thing missing was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom but the shower was a good size. What a very pleasant surprise this turned out to be. We only had the one night to be able to stay in Orlando. We chose this location due to its proximity to Universal Studios. The staff was courteous and friendly, the room was immaculate, and the service was outstanding. This establishment was first rate all the way, The rate was exceptionally reasonable […] and it was next door to a plethora of eating venues. We couldn't have been happier. Very clean and updated accomodations. Didn't expect the hotel to be this nice due to the low price. Accommodations are even nicer than the pictures on website look. Rooms were very quiet. Found we had infants across the hall and next to us when in the hallway. We didn't hear them in our room. Awesome mini golf and amusement park rides within 2 blocks. […] We walked to Universal, which saved us a ton of time! Very impressed to read the magazine in the room about the hotel owner, who does numerous charitable donations and has created programs to improve school lunch programs and funds educational opportunities for the less fortunate.
