Sehr saubere und gut eingerichtete Zimmer.Nettes und sich kümmerndes Personal. Liegt allerdings etwas sehr außerhalb.Für einen Zwischenstopp, um noch ein anderes Ziel zu erreichen, Klasse.

Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.Das .Zimmer war gut ausgestattet mit Föhn, Bügeleisen und -brett, Mikrowelle.Heiswasserbereiter. TV. In San Antonio ist man ohne Auto wie im Gefängnis -total unbeweglich. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns optimal in der Nähe unserer Verwandten, das heisst 10 Minuten Autofahrt mit Tempo 100 kmh.oder 15 Minuten bis Downtown

Das Hotel bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für eine Übernachtung vor einem frühen Abflugtermin. Ein kostenloser Shuttle bringt einen in fünf Minuten zum Flughafen. Gute Shopping Mall kann zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreicht werden.

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht da (Rückflug), aber das Hotel hat direkt überzeugt und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Super eingerichtete Zimmer. Alles wirkte wie neu renoviert. Bequeme Betten und viel Platz. Sehr empfehlenswert. In Deutschland wäre das Hotel locker ein 4-Sterne-Hotel.

"Clean, spacious, accessible, free parking"
Very pleased.
the entrance was very well kept it looked clean and nice. but once we went into the elevator it was really hot in there then our room was very dirty. there was lots of dust everywhere on the desk and end tables the sheets felt a bit dusty too. the bathroom was dirty as well there was hair on the floor and tub yuck.

"On and above the call of duty"
We were there to see our grandson graduate from AF BMT and had to be at the base at 7:00 AM. Came to our cars and my sons cart had been broken into. The manager came out and took charge and had the glass fixed in record time so that our family could make it to the base. I think his name was Doug. It was the morning of April 6.

"Courtyard by Marriott in San Antonio"
Two things I was impressed with were the quality/cleanliness of the hotel and amenities. Plus the cost of the room was very affordable. Hotels along the Riverwalk are way over priced and unnecessary. This hotel is only several blocks from there and within walking distance or you can even take a trolley. I will definitely consider staying there again […] when I visit San Antonio. Mehr
"Great hotel, not close to the river walk"
The hotel was great! It is in walking distance from the river walk during the day, about 20 min walk, but I would not walk back at night. We took a bus that had a stop right by the hotel and that worked perfectly. It right a cross the street from Mi Tierra and the Mexican Market which is fun!
"Quiet off the beaten track"
If you're in town for business or just want to stay off the riverwalk, this is a nice choice. A 10 minute walk away from the downtown attractions and very quiet with a great staff though few amenities. This hotel is very much worth the price.

"Courtyard Marriot San Antonio near Riverwalk"
The bed was very hard, and the pillows were not supoortive. It did not make for a good nights sleep.
"Bugs = wont be back"
The hotel looked nice, the front desk was very clean fresh and new, but the biggest issue I had was there where little bugs in between the glass and pictures in the bathroom. Not sure if they where bed bugs or not but it was a bit disturbing. I wont be back, eeek...

"Good value. Friendly staff."
Our hotel room was a good value. The hotel lobby was bright and well maintained. The front desk staff were exceptional on both shifts that we had contact with them. The room itself was a little small, and the very large flat screen TV was a little awkwardly placed. We spent most of our time touring the city, so it really didn't matter. "Good but thin walls"
I was very satisfied with the quality and service of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and roomy. The only drawback was that the walls and ceilings were thin, and you could hear whatever was going on around you.

"Service less than ideal"
For it's price, I would have expected better service. I had booked and prepaid a Double Queen Room but came to find that they had given my room away. Comfort of the rooms were also less than ideal for this hotel. For the money, there are better alternatives.

"Nice for the price"
We enjoyed our stay very much. We spent a lot of time out and about, but it was a nice base for us. Most of the places we went were in walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
"Nice hotel but beware of trains going by ALL night"
The hotel was very nice and staff was great. BUT trains go by ALL night long blowing their whistles. So if you have trouble sleeping better take sleeping pill and ear plugs. That's the only way you'll be able to get a good nights sleep. My first night there I didn't sleep a wink. Got the ear plugs and sleeping pills and it was better.
"San Antonio Courtyard Worst hotel experience ever"
Where to start... - The toilet and shower leaked both running on loudly throughout the night - The fridge did not work - The bed was bowed by more than 6" towards the center - The AC/Heat unit was ineffective and so loud it woke us up everytime it ran - The pillows had been soaked in something disgusting that stunk so badly we bought pillows to use - […] We asked for a nice quiet room and got a room beside trees where 100's of large loud birds gather as well as being directly across the street from a distribution center with tractor trailers in/out at all hours. - On top of all of that, the walk from the riverwalk was as unnerving and unsafe as I have ever experienced. "Nice hotel"
I like Courtyard Marriott usually. This one was just ok compared to others in the country. I think the price was too high for the quality.
Hotel is conveniently located three blocks south from the Market Square, but the neighborhood is not so good. You can walk but not recommended too late at night. Room was OK, but the A/C very noisy.
"Close enough to Downtown SA"
The hotel had a pretty good location...it was close enough to downtown, but without all the noise and foot traffic. The hotel staff was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. GREAT deal for the price!

Perfect in evry way. Love teh otdoor pool, courteous staff, good breakfast. Location great, as I used taxis to get me to work every morning. Will definitely stay again. Great choice and great value.

This was a very nice place, especially considering the price. The room was very clean and available when we arrived shortly after 1 pm. This motel probably used primarily by business people is located near the tourist attractions of downtown. Was very convenient to Riverwalk & Alamodome...We were right on the bus line to most of the sites...Buses were very clean and had AC... We are in our late 60's and it was very convenient to get around. The hotel employees were very courteous and helpful...Nice not to have to drive in a strange city...
"One word, AWESOME"
I've stayed at many hotels and the staff at Courtyard by Marriot Downtown San Antonio blew me away. They had the extra items I requested at check-in in my room before my family and I walked into the room. Fast service, courtious, extremely clean, great food, just an awesome experience. I will only stay here when in San Antonio from now on...
"Not great but could be worse"
The hotel room was rather dingy and we had to wait 1.5 hours after check in time for our rooms to actually be ready. (They did give a free candy bar to compensate) It's not a lap of luxury and you pretty much get what you pay for. Taxi it to the riverwalk since the outside neighborhoods are rather sketchy.

"Hot and crampt"
The hallways and elevators were extremely hot. The hallway thermostat read 83 degrees. The room was smaller than expected. My car was scratched in the parking lot. The breakfast was far less than expected. They had only one washer and drier and it took two loads to dry one load of clothes. The neighborhood was far less than desirable. I love San Antonio […] but next time will stay at a hotel along the riverwalk which is safer and mroe convenient. Mehr

very nice and good location at a good rate!
The bed was uncomfortable & couldn't get any hot water in the shower.
Although we did not have any incidents, walking to the Riverwalk from the hotel through some darker alleys was a little "less romantic". Everything else was great.
Not as close to the sites as it says. The rooms are not very clean or updated. Staff was not helpful or friendly
"Great stay"
The receptionist was very nice from the time we checked in. The lady in the deli area was extremely nice. Although I had a loud person in the room next to ours the stay was very nice and quiet. Great place to stay! It is in a great location, about 8 min away from The Alamo and the Riverwalk, same street as Market Square.

The shuttle to the river walk and free parking on site are good bonuses. The breakfast credit was fine for food, but it was all over-priced. Good place for a short trip. Not sure I would want to stay for longer than a weekend for a vacation.

"Quality for a good price"
A little out of the way from the river walk but there is a convenient shuttle system to take you back and forth. Near the market center.
"Convenient, economical"
Our family really liked the idea that we could park right next to our room, and walk right out the slider to unload, and load. We only had to walk 3 or 4 blocks from the motel to the Riverwalk. It was right out from the front San Fernando...down the church steps, across it's 'front courtyard' and down the Riverwalk steps. We then walked all the way […] to the Alamo and rode the Yellow Trolley - which is a city bus with "Yellow Route" written on front- back to the bus stop out front of the Courtyard Marriot. Cost is very reasonable. The next day we rode the bus to our destination, and walked back. It was sure nice not to pay for parking. The pool was wonderful, with beautiful landscaping. Food was a little high in price, but delicious, with very kind cooks. As we left, my husband was courious about the locks and dam system of the riverwalk. The motel host provided a great map, and directions. Once there, we received a free explanation of the locks and dam system, free parking there too. Who would know that in front of the Alamo, underground is a huge drainage system which is larger enough for 4 semi trucks (stacked 2X2). In cases of high rainfall, the water is diverted, to keep Riverwalk safe. We really appreciated Courtyard Marriot for making our trip from Michigan so enjoyable, Bonnie, Leon and family Mehr
