An sich ungeeignet für Businessreisende da auf dem Weg zum Flughafen meist Stau ist. Aber wer die Ruhe sucht anstatt den Trubel einer Stadt ist hier gut aufgehoben und nimmt die 40 Minuten bis zum Flughafen gerne in Kauf.

Die Lage ist üblicher Vorort, an dem man nichts anfangen kann, aber nicht zu weit von Ottawa Downtown, dass einen Besuch wirklich wert ist. Das Hotel selbst ist arg überteuert (was nicht an Hotels.com liegt!). Ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse sollte wenigstens einen Pool bieten, was sehr fehlte bei Mordshitze. Wie immer, auch bei sehr kurzfristiger Buchung, funktioniert Hotels.com perfekt, und das schon seit Jahren fehlerfrei.

Wir hatten zwar ein sehr kleines Zimmer,es war aber alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt vorhanden. Das sehr freundliche Personal war hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend .Wir durften unser Kfz auch nach dem check-out noch auf dem kostenlosen Hotelparkplatz stehen lassen um zu Fuß in die Altstadt zu gehen.CB kostenfrei und ausreichend.

"Close"
The hotel is close and within walking distance to all the tourist locations, nightclubs and restaurants. Paliament Hill was a 6.00 cab ride away. Very convenient location. The only downside is parking is small if you have a pickup truck and the elevators to go up to the rooms are slow

"upgrade"
I was surprised to see a little suite instead of a standard room I paid for. Kids were so happy! Also, location is very convenient, few blocks from the Parliament.

The hotel was ok, but there were a few things I would have hoped to have been better, considering the price and the location. We found dishes in the dishwasher, the coffee maker leaked and there was old popcorn under the tv stand. Only 1 bed had the extra comfy padding, 2 didn't, and one of the bedrooms didn't have a TV. Overall the idea of a suite […] with 2 adults and 2 kids worked great, but I could get that at another hotel. The biggest downfall was how non-wheelchair/ stroller accessable it is. The pool is on the 5th floor, but you have to go through 5-6 doors first and then up stairs to get to it..... Not a bad stay, but I will shop around better next time. Mehr
"Les Suites Hotel Ottawa"
We had a premiere two bedroom suite to share with our friends and thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations. The suite, particularly the kitchen, was very well equipped. The TVs weren't flat screen, but the wi-fi was free and fast. The location is wonderful - close to Byward Market, Parliament Hill, the National Gallery, etc - and on the main bus routes […] to more distant destinations. There are many, many nearby restaurants and pubs to choose from, plus a major grocery store if you want to eat in the suite. We arrived by train, so cannot comment on the parking garage. "Great location"
We stayed at the 2 bedroom suite, which was VERY big, if you are going with a family I highly recommend this hotel. The location was superb, walking distance to all major attractions main streets

"Living comfortably at Les Suites in Ottawa"
Our one bedroom premier apartment was a perfect fit for our recent stay in Ottawa. I was combining work and vacation. Location very near Rideau Center and Byward Market and only a short walk from downtown office area was great (although be prepared for city youth and streeet people). "Les Suites Hotel Ottawa"
I was not sure what to expect but was thoroughly surprised and overly satisfied by my stay. We received a free upgrade to a premiere suite and ended up getting free parking due to an honest mistake by the front desk. I will definately return to this hotel with my family.

We enjoyed our stay at Les Suites. The hotel is within walkiing distance to the canals, parliament and the byward market. The 2-room suite was spacious and clean, but the carpet and beds and general condition of the room looked as though it has seen better days.

We really enjoyed our stay at Les Suites. The hotel personnel were very helpful, upgrading our bed size upon request for no additional charge, gave a map and suggestions for places to eat and see when we checked in. The room was very spacious and it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen and separate bedroom. Some of the items in the room could have […] used a bit more cleaning, like the wall pictures and bathroom fan, but overall a nice hotel and centrally located amongst the tourist attractions. "Les Suites- Ottawa"
We were travelling with a one year old and needed a kitchenette. That was the driving reason for choosing this hotel. The kitchenette was actually a full kitchen and quite convenient. The location of the hotel is quiet good too, though if location is your main criteria choose Fairmont Cheteau...that location cannot be beat! Only problem we faced was […] that for some reason hot water never lasted more that one person's shower. So you cannot take turns to use the bathroom: first wait 30 mins after someone has taken their shower, then try using the hot-water. On contacting the Hotel staff I was told that this is expected, the boiler (for some reason) doesnt start refilling till hot water is completely over. This is something I haven't seen in any hotel or any apartment for that matter. Rest was all good. Mehr

This hotel was so nice. Great location, swimming pool and hot tub was so relaxing. Rooms were so clean and spacious. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. We will be staying here again. Just loved everything about it. Staff was so friendly. Give it a try...you will definately go back.

IN ITS DAY THIS HOTEL WAS FANTASTIC. IT IS NOW GETTING A LITTLE DATED,HOWEVER,IT STILL REMAINS EXCELLENT VALUE - THE BEDS ARE VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE AMENITIES MET ALL OUR NEEDS. THE LOCATION IS IN A SLIGHTLY RUNDOWN AREA BUT THAT IS THE NATURE OF THE OTTAWA DOWNTOWN - THE HOTEL IS VERY CLOSE TO MANY OF THE SITES OF THE CAPITAL.

great location, awesome setup for families sharing a room, quiet rooms in the sense you don't hear your neighbors, that being said on a Saturday night if you have a suite facing the market area you hear tons of noise all night till 3:00am lots of bars nearby and that is not pleasant and once the bars close you'll get woken up from the street sweepers..I […] would recommend they get softer pillows they were quite hard and gave us a sore neck. The pool was out of commission.. Otherwise nice coffee shop in the hotel lobby and the staff were pleasant and professional... we'll be back Mehr

"Les Suites - well situated in Ottawa"
We had a good stay at Les Suites. We booked a premium room - a must-do! We were accidentally shown to a regular suite when we first arrived and I was struck by how old, tired and smelly the decor and furnishings were. We were quickly re-assigned to the Premiere Suite and it was much better. It seemed a bit gloomy everywhere inside,but the weather outside […] was grey and cloudy that weekend. There was plenty of room for two to prepare meals, sit and relax, and eat meals, as well as a king sized bed and plenty of cupboard space. the bathroom was updated and the shower was excellent. I really appreciated the pool, though you had to go through a veritable labyrinth to get to it, and the change rooms and showers were adequate. They would be improved by the addition of a spin-dryer for swimsuits and a hairdryer or two, but there were plenty of towels, and soap dispensers in the showers. Staff were polite and helpful, nd the in-house restaurant was open till 10. It was expensive, but then they have a captive audience! The location was the best asset about les Suites - just steps to everything in the Byward Market area. Mehr
"Les Suites in Ottawa - excellent location"
Suites have all ammenities located within suite. Washer/Dryer/dishwasher/fridge&stove. Very quiet and feels more like a condo than just a room with a bed. BYWard Market area, plenty of shopping, pubs and dining. Easy access to/for family and friends. Looking forward to the next stay.
HOTEL WAS VERY ACCEPTABLE. LOCATION NOT GREAT. PER NIGHT PARKING FEE PLUS TAX WAS RIDICULOUS.

I travel a lot and as I compared it with other places I can say it was old but still clean with the polite staff. as I got a good offer on the internet the price was good. but for sure it was not a luxury or even new and very shining clean.I had a two bed room suit on 14th floor which had a fairly good view.and full furnished and every thing you needed […] was prepared.in overall I recomend it for economic travel or travel in group.by the way the location in the city was good and neer beerstore and some pizza and shawema store which was convenience. my wife says that the bed was not comfortable ....I agree but it was not very bad also. "Great Value"
I have stayed here in the past and they retained all my contact info from 15 years ago. I thought it was a super value suites hotel then and still do. I have been staying at another chain hotel in downtown Ottawa for some time now but I am back to being a Les Suites customer. Friendly, roomy and all the amenities of an apartment.

Les Suites was better than expected, especially for the price we paid. It was very nice, very clean and comfortable. Would be very happy to stay there again. In fact, we were very tempted to extend our stay because it was so nice. I would recommend it very strongly to anyone looking for a good place to stay.

"Les Suites"
This hotel is in an excellent location for shopping, restaurants, and taking in the Byward Market. It is close to the Rideau Canal for skating and you can pick up beaver tails quite easily. The parking is $17.00 which is a little expensive. You have to register before the hotel allows you to park even if you give your name saying you are already booked […] and just checking in! There is construction going on, the elevators were very slow and one was not working when we were there. Our 1 bedroom was large and the kitchen was great and well equipped. The internet access is extremely slow so this was frustrating beyond words. On check out they wanted to charge us extra for a movie we did not watch, and for some other small amount which no one seemed to know what it was for. After some discussion we got that settled and then an extra charge for an upgraded room was going to be applied. We required a lower floor due to physical problems with my spouses leg but due to construction they only had upgraded rooms on the lower level due to the construction going on. We requested this incase the fire alarm went off as it has done in past stays. After some debating back and forth it was decided that the extra charge should not take place. Mehr
