Dieses Hotel ist für einen auch längeren Aufenthalt in der Hauptstadt Accra immer zu empfehlen. Service und zimmer sind gut, der Preis ok. Das Restaurant ist nur für "Vielesser" zu enmpfehlen, den der Preis ist hoch, und man müsste also viel essen. Aber es gibt auch eine Menükarte. Pool ist gut.

Ich war schon sehr oft in diesem Hotel, ich werde es immer wieder tun, denn ich bin sehr zufrieden. Der Zimmerkomfort ist sehr gut. Der Service von Reception und die Arbeit des Reinigungspersonals sehr gut. Das Haus grenzt an den neuen Mövenpick-Komplex. Die Standard-Zimmer (Doppelzimmer und Einzelzimmer identisch) sind für zwei Personen ausreichend groß. Das Bad (Bad/Dusche) ist angenehm dimensioniert. Die Toilette befindet sich in einem separaten Raum neben dem Bad. Sauberkeit ist gewährleistet. Momentan werden im Haus Modernisierungsarbeiten durchgeführt. […] Funktional gute Zimmerausstattung mit Internetanschluss. Swimmingpool ist kostenlos benutzbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit - auch wenn es etwas an den englischen Sprachkenntnissen hapert.. Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist sehr gut - fast familiär. Kostenloses Flughafen-Shuttle. Der Besuch des Restaurants im Erdgeschoss ist sehr empfehlenswert! Üppiges Frühstücksbuffet! Das Hotel liegt verkehrsgünstig in der Hauptstadt Accra. Im vergangenen Jahr wurden viele Zimmer saniert, der service ist gut. Der Pool ausgezeichneit, Küche einfach und gut. Das Businesscenter könnte größer und komfortabler sein. Geeignet für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisende.

Ich hatte für den 24. Juni 2011 ein Zimmer durch Expedia im Hotel gebucht. Nach meiner Ankunft in Accra hatte ich am Airport noch ein Treffen mit anderen Gästen und wollte danach das Hotel-Schuttle zum Hotel benutzen. Auf dem Parkplatz am Airport Accra-Kotoka sah ich 2 Fahrzeuge des Hotels. Deswegen habe ich mich an den Servicemitarbeiter des Hotels […] gewandt der am Arrival auf weitere Hotelgäste wartete. Nach einiger Disskussion und Rücksprache mit der Hotelrezeption, hat er mir die Mitfahrt verweigert und mir ein teures Privat-Taxi empfohlen. Ich kenne die kriminellen Preise der Taxifahrer und fand seine Ablehnung schon deswegen sehr unfreundlich. Seine Entscheidung entsprach nicht dem sonstigen Services des Novotels. Ich habe schon mindestens 5 - 8 mal im Novotel übernachtet und war bisher immer sehr zufrieden mit dem Service des Hotels. Aber dieser Vorgang war wohl der schlechteste , den ich in Accra erlebt habe. Als ich selbstständig nach 15 Minuten im Hotel eintraf, sah ich das Hotelfahrzeug 5 Minuten später mit anderen Gästen eintreffen. Ist das ein guter Service des sonst angenehmen Hotels ? Mehr

Die Zimmer sind sauber und es funktioniert alles. Frühstück Buffet und auch Essen ala Carte sind gut. Hotel Anlage ist ok, nicht unbedingt für längeren Aufenthalt. Support an der Reception eher mässig.

Nach Voranmeldung Gratis-Shuttle vom Airport zum Hotel. Freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer zweckmässig, gutes Frühstücksbuffet und hübscher Pool. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Very difficult to reach by phone, but when you are there, many things function. Pick-up from airport: perfect. Clean and beautiful swimming pool side. Meals of good quality, service sometimes quick! The airconditioning in the (so called) lobby as well as room was not effective, inspite of requesting the staff to improve it(atleast in the room). Nice location not far from Accra Airport. Lots to see in the area. Restaurant and bar were very nice. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Service was nice staff are friendly, accommodation is great and the price is good. Only problem is that I left my ring in the room when I checked out but when I called to retrieve it, no one seems to have found it. And this is indicative of lack of honesty within housekeeping staff.

Accra, Ghana's NOVOTEL is pricey, but considering all of the hotel's amenities versus those of cheaper competitors, NOVOTEL is a wise choice. Daphne helped me send a package stateside - which arrived safely. WiFi functioned well, and Mr. Germaine at the front desk offered great advice and help throughout my stay.

We stayed here one night and was glad to leave! The rooms are very small and have a strange smell. It was cramped and uncomfortable. Don't be fooled by the nice lobby. The towels were dirty and had brown spots on them. Also the continental breakfast was very skimpy and the fruit tasted almost rotten. On the upside, the Internet is free. As far as location, comfort, cleanliness,excellent members of staff and good food are concerned, I would rate this hotel as one of the very best My wife and I have stayed in; and we have travelled to all the continents of the world, having stayed in various hotels. The reception was very prompt and efficient. The room needs a number of improvements, especially the mattress which has become weak and may not be good for most backs. I enjoyed my stay at ACCRA which was spiced by Novotel. Obviously it was the first time i had to book online for such a stay and the ease with which it worked out was amazing. The place is appreciatingly great. I missed only my typical Nigerian diet. Please is there discount for my next stay, because i really need to go back. Cheers Dr Job

Nothing special. This is quite an ordinary hotel but there is not much choice in Accra so it is adequate. I have heard that there is a new hotel in town. Would like to try that before decided if I want to stay in Novotel again....

After the hotel forgot to arrange for airport pick up i was already a little peeved. When checking in i repeated that i wanted a non-smoking room and was assured that the room was indeed non-smoking. After entering room it was obvious that there had been smokers in the room - for many years it smelt like to me! When i tried to call reception the phone […] was out of order - forcing me to go down to reception myself where i requested a room change due to the room smelling very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. I was told there was nothing else and that it was non-smoking so could not smell. The food and the atmosphere of the bar and restaurant is really bland - ;elevator music is played NON STOP in the dining areas, which is actually quite depressing. I won't be staying there again. Unfortunately, there are not any high rated hotels near the center of town, thus this was our only choice. Too bad as this one is really 'tired'! Floor hallway and room reminded us of a college dorm... sparse furnishings! Pool area was crowded, noisy and not a good place for an outside meal or drink. Pleasant hotel with friendly staff. Also conveniently located to explore Accra. Room decor [including carpets and bed cover] is dated though. Rooms probably require fummigation for bed bugs as I discovered a few itchy marks on my body after a nights sleep. Too expensive in my view for what is offered.

Clean and comfortable hotel with free wi-fi internet connection and all modern facilities. The hotel is conveniently located for visiting Accra. Airport shuttle service worked very well. I easily found the Novotel agent at the airport and we arrived at the hotel in about 15mins. Cause of the intense traffic, it is advisable to leave the hotel in time […] when going back to Kotoka airport (it took me 1 hour). Hotel staff is well trained, kind and helpful. The standard room has a double bed and a sofa. The toilet is separated from the shower/bathroom. The room has a safe and minibar with free water inside (you’ll need it!). Currency exchange service was very useful and convenient. Restaurant serves nice meals and breakfast, but could be improved. Whatever the purpose of your visit, this is a very good choice. Mehr
