Die Lage des Hotels ist super, nur ca. 10 Min. vom Bahnhof New Street entfernt und ideal gelegen für Shopping. Schöne grosse helle ruhige Zimmer, gute Ausstattung. Schade ist nicht bei allen Zimmerkategorien das Free WiFi nicht inkl. Man muss einen unverschämten Preis pro Std. oder Tag dafür bezahlen. Dies ist in der heutigen Zeit wo um das Hotel herum […] bereits alle Restaurant schon Free WiFi anbieten einfach ein unverschämter Preis. Dies kostet das Hotel eigentlich nichts, wenn sie dies allen Hotelbesuchern frei zur Verfügung stellen. Das Frühstück finde ich auch viel zu teuer. Sonst ist das Hotel wirklich nur zum empfehlen. eigentlich ein echt gutes hotel doch war ich echt enttäuscht, dass das spa nicht zu benutzen war (sanierungsarbeiten). nicht das ein spa ab und zu saniert werden muss, aber eine vorabinfo wäre einfach nur anständig und professionell gewesen.

The Hyatt is the best we've stayed in in Brum. Pricey but worth the extra and even more so if you look out for deals. Good quality throughout and handy spa facilities make for a relaxing break. Plenty on offer in Brum too. We went to the pictures - the small but cosy retro Electric Cinema and for a Bangladeshi meal at the Bay Leaf in the Custard Factory […] complex - a great meal / live soul music combo for £20 and a perfect night out. This hotel is tired dated and with a management who have decided to trade on the good name but with out maintaining the high standard you would expect form a Hyatt. Cheap Cheap Cheap food badly prepared, with no attention to detail at all. Really poor. Now don't get me wrong service OK, HOtel in general OK, but they charge TOP TOP money for this hotel […] and to be frank its not worth it. I I stayed in a Travel Inn the food would be better prepared and sourced, but its 7 quid for breakfast and not 22 quid. Mehr

Located at the canal system on Broad Street in Birmingham, it is in perhaps the most interesting pleasant area, plenty of places to eat and drink, easy for reach to the city centre. The city can be unsafe at night, and too many hotels mean walking through dimly lit underpasses, but the pathways to the Hyatt are safe and well used. The Welcome from the girl on Reception was first class.After a nightmare journey by road the attitude of the young lady made everything seem worthwhile . I only wished I got her name. The Hotel did exactly what is says on the tin!

We have struggeled to find the correct hotel in Birmingham for a number of years. Now this is sorted due to the excellent staff in this hotel. They have stepped up their efforts and we could not find any fault with this hotel. Food was also excellent for dinner. Good internet wireless also. Advertised as free but they tried to charge but then let code […] for free which was fine. Great bed comfort and good modern clean room. Twice a year sorted for fairs at NEC. Mehr

Good variety of resturaunts in the very near vicinity, Brindley Place.

If you want bland normality with AC that barely works, limited bar selection, restricted over-priced on-site food, and windows that don't open then go for it. Otherwise, try somewhere else.

The hotel is immaculate and although large and visiting on a cold day was warm and inviting. The room was spacious well lit and has all the extra touches you would expect. The front desk staff were very helpful and curteous whilst being geuinely welcoming. We did have to wait a while to be served in the bar area but this is the only small citicism […] i have. It is without doubt the best hotel i have stayed in Birmingham. Mehr

The hotel was very accomodating nothing to much to ask of the friendly and polite staff. The only downfall to this hotel is that the swimming pool advertised on the website was not actually there we had to go off site to a health club to use pool facilities etc which was a five minute walk, but this swimming pool looked nowhere near as nice as the […] one displayed on the Hyatt website. A great hotel, situated in the middle of the cultural quarter of Birmingham, but offering fantastic views over this great city. Very comfortable and well designed rooms and attentive staff Highly recommended

I have stayed here a few times now and never disappointed with the service and comfort of this hotel. Near to both the Mailbox and all the bars on Broad Street. Great

booked hotel for swimming pool and location,pool out of use a dissapointment ,but hotel did offer alternative vouchers for nearby facility,and complimentary breakfast as an apology,could not do more and appreciated,pity no hotel car park ,but again hotel staff obliged as quiet we were allowed to park outside.good weekend ,with shopping at bullring nearby […] and the main reason for our trip was to watch the swans play villa,and the win just capped it off,will book again Mehr

stayed here for 2 nights new year service is exceptional, food is great and you have a great view of the city in the lifts .

This is a beautiful hotel with an airy and spacious feel. It's situated opposite the Symphony Hall and the new library building and about a five minute walk from the shops. However, behind it, along the main road, area variety of bars and clubs. Down Bridge Street, about 5 minutes away, I recommend The Mailbox complex for dining. Here are a selection […] of restaurants overlooking the canal basin as well as some higher end shops. The staff at the hotel were professional and the service was excellent. Sadly the pool was closed so we didn't get to sample it. The management compensated us with complimentary breakfasts and a bottle of wine though! Mehr

Very impressive 5 star service, from the polite and helpful concierge and reception staff to the bar staff. We didn't dine during our stay but did have breakfast delivered to our room for an extra £3. This was an amazing service - excellent 5 star - delivered on a wheeled dining trolley, silver service, perfect ! Room 1710 on 17th floor had excellent […] view of canalside to the left and Broad Street/Brindley Place to the right with NIA in distance - amazing ! Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Centrally located great for nia and Christmas Market.

Staff, cleanliness, food all excellent - all what you would expect from 5* Hotel - plus the added advantage of a covered link to the Symphony Hall (great when it is cold and very windy!). Pity the fire alarm went off at 03.35 and it was generally very noisy outside. fourth visit, and will definitely go again.

Must be best location and service in Birmingham. And I´ve tried a few others in that town including Radisson. Was waked by music sunday morning 10 o`clock due to Remembrance day-

Verry nice hotell, with its own tunnel over to the Symphony Hall that was the purpose of our trip. Clean rooms, good tempratur, nice beds. Much hotell for less money. Close to the restaurantes Lasan and Purnells. (Ramsay/Michellin)

No parking at hotel. had to park round the block in very grotty underground car park. Quality of room was very dated. Pool area was also very dated. Breakfast was very expensive and no better than a typical travelodge type hotel. Breakfast Service poor and had to keep asking waitress for Tea and Coffee refills. No point in staying here when Marriott, […] which is just along the road, is much better for similar price. Will not stay at Hyatt again, wil go back to using Marriott. Mehr

Have stayed in this hotel many times now as very convenient for a conference we attend,however, wont do again! The shower didnt work, was either burning hot or freezing cold. Also we rang housekeeping for an item we had not taken at approx 7pm, and advised we were going out at 7.30, it didnt arrive. We returned about 10.30 and it still hadnt arrived, […] eventually after chasing it appeared about 11.30pm. To be fair to the hotel they did not charge us for parking, to compensate us for these problems. However will find somewhere different to stay next time! Mehr

The convenience of the location was impecible due to the links with the ICC.

Really good location with Brindley Place (plenty buzzing bars and restaurants) on the doorstep. Hotel was clean and comfortable and everything we expected from a Hyatt. I would definitely recommend it and stay there again if and when I'm in Birmingham. Only 1 top tip would be to check out a little earlier than the check-out time of 12.00 pm as the queue […] in reception was a mile long (not ideal if you have a train to catch). Mehr

From check-in to check-out it was a real pleasure. The staff were polite attentive and professional, the room was great with a choice of view of either the city or the canal and with the floor to ceiling glass wall the view was spectacular. Close to all the nightlife yet still a haven of tranquility....pure pleasure.

The hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, polite and "top notch." They were always willing to help in what ever way necessary anytime of the day or night. The rooms were beautiful and very clean (that's coming from someone who is a "germaphobiac" :) My husband and I stayed with our 4 children ages 11 to 3. We had […] to book 2 rooms which was not a problem because the rooms were connected by a door that we just kept open. We had our own bathroom and the children had their own bathroom (which made getting ready quicker). This set up also made the children feel "special" because thet had their own room/space. The men who greeted us daily to either get our car or park our car were always so friendly, polite and professional. They always had a kind work or joke for the kids. They also gave great advice regarding places to see, go or even eat within walking distance of the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect because it was in the center of town and close to everything that we needed. We were in town visitng family and the hotel was within 20 minutes of all our family members who lived in or close to Birmingham. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it to family and friends. Mehr

We stayed here for my wifes birthday being joined by our daughters on the saturday. Had a great meal at the hotel on saturday and then had some drinks seeing who we could spot from the England cricket team, Manchester Utd. and on sunday morning Nigel Mansell! Very comfortable hotel if a little pricy. Room was very impressive with beautiful views over the canal system. We ate at restaurant in the evening and whilst food was very good very disappointed about the noise coming from the party held in one of the function rooms. Also very disappointed at the extra cost of parking the car in a nearby car park.

Friendly staff and a good location. Very spacious room and overall a really comfortable place to stay. Enjoyed being there and will definitely use again when I come back to Birmingham.

Nice clean hotel, staff very friendly BUT the price (not cheap) didn't include breakfast and at around £16 pp we didn't pay extra for it. There are lots of nice eateries within a couple of minutes walk which were far better value. The internet was not free as it is in other nearby hotels we have stayed in. Although the hotel was nice, I felt having […] to pay so much for the extras would put me off staying there again. The internet thing really annoyed me! The hotel is a little outside the centre, but close to a very lively area with lots of cultural buildings as well as pubs and restaurants.

Disappointed swimming pool out of use & I didn't want to walk to another! Guys at front of hotel excellent with baggage and carparking.

hotel was very nice n clean staff were friendly and everything was close by within walkin distance. was very disapointed that tha gym n sauna area wasnt available as this was the readon we booked this hotel to relax. was not told of this either by staff until we went down to try n use the facility which i found was bad customer service. other then that […] fine Mehr

Stopped for one night in May 2011 , anniversary .What a way to spend it.Super hotel, great location. Had a great meal at Pushkar on broad st The service was 5 star , will definately go back.

Stayed for one night at the Hyatt Birmingham and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were fantastic especially the door guys who were very helpful and friendly . Hotel close to mailbox center which is good for places to eat . Would recommend asking for room on high floor with nice view.

good hotel, no fun when there is a power cut and your checking out from the 17th floor, wine menu limited.

THE HOTEL IS VERY GOOD BREAKFEAST COULD BE A BIT BETTER AS FAR AS THE FRESH FRUIT GOES
