Rivoli Ramblas - Barcelona

Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage mitten an den Ramblas und ist trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Service und der Ausstattung. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel Rivoli Ramblas liegt sehr zentral, die Busverbindung ist perfekt, das Zimmer war total ruhig. Der Service im Hotel war in allen Bereichen hervorragend.

Die Lage dieses Hotels ist wirklich erstklassig. Direkt vor der Haustür läuft die Rambla entlang, die in einer Richtung zur Plaza Catalunya und in der anderen zum Hafen führt. Das Hotel ist gut. Wir hatten uns gegen das Frühstücksbüffet entschieden und lieber in den kleinen Bars in der Nähe gefrühstückt. Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Eines hatte ein […] Fenster auf die Rambla, das zweite leider nur eines in den Innenhof und war somit sehr dunkel. Es gibt aber auch schönere Zimmer, die jedoch teurer sind. Aber Barcelona hat so viel zu bieten, da bleibt sowieso niemand im Hotel. Der Aerobus bleibt direkt am Plaza Catalunya stehen, was die Anreise natürlich sehr vereinfacht. Gegenüber vom Hotel ist eine Bushaltestelle, von der man mit dem Bus 59 an den Strand kommt und ganz wichtig, das Hardrock Cafe ist fast ums Eck. Mehr

room very clean, excellent location bedroomin front on ramblas very noisy only problem with hotel was shower in bathtub and not easy to get in and out of dinner in restaurant was very good very easy walk to the hop on hop off bus and the wonderful market would reccoment hotel

We were very pleased with the hotel & were given a room looking onto Las Ramblas. The only problems we had were that the room was boiling but the window wouldn't open & the air condintioning wasn't working. Also my son paid 107 euro for a Barcelona Tshirt & laid it across a little table in the room but the table had not been cleaned properly so the […] Tshirt ended up stained. The location is perfect right at the heart of La Rambla but the hotel is old and tired. The rooms have a utilitarian feel and the bathroom smelt of drains. The shower constantly changed temperature and the whole place felt like a 3 star hotel at best. Good points were that it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent location at the centre of the city. Walking distance to all major attractions and to the stop to the City Tour bus. The room was somewhat small for two persons (small beds and narrow circulating spaces) but the bathroom was good. Very nice decor and good breakfast.

I have scored the hotel on the basis of the rate we paid. In itself it was perfectly satisfactory but at the rate we paid it was totally overpriced. The hotel rooms were very tired and ours was very dark with little natural daylight. The location was great - right on the Ramblas, but I feel very cheated in terms of what we paid. We have now been to […] Barcelona 4 times and this is definitely the worst accommodation - at more than double the price of all the others. We are particularly upset as it was a special occasion and we had opted to spend more accordingly. Mehr

It was my first time in Barcelona and I couldn't have picked a better hotel! Perfect location. 1 min walk from shop bars market and everything else you might be looking for! The Staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel location is extremely convenient if you are interested in being at the heart of the activities on Las Ramblas. The hotel itself is somewhat dated. The interior is pretty dark and stale. Not much of a lobby. As with other hotels, some of the people working at the front desk were helpful while others not so much. Comfortable hotel superb situation in the heart of the city

First thing that striked me was the cleanlinees and freshness of the room. The bathroom was also very spacious. Could feel the slight rumbling of the underground trains in the morning but it did not really affect me. Location of hotel is perfect to where all the action is and close to the hop on / hop off bus stop and the cycling tour start point in […] front of the Hard Rock Cafe. Couple with 2 almost adult children - we stayed three nights. One room with twin beds and the other with queensize bed. Excellent location on Ramblas street. Many breakfast places nearby (once we enjoyed the hotels own buffet breakfast). Very clean hotel.

This hotel has an excellent location if you want to be in the middle of the action. It's very clean and the staff is very willing to help in any way they can.

Perfect location.

Great location. Right in the middle of all the fun on Ramblas. Our Sink was leaking water and they didn't come to fix it until a day later after I notified them of the problem. Tiny elevator. On busy days, you have to wait a long time or climb up the stairs.

We booked one night at this hotel before a cruise and on arrival were given a room in an annexe next to the main hotel. A staff member showed us to the room which was four floors in the lift then at least two flights of stairs. I was travelling with my elderely mother and there was no way she could manage these stairs. Also the annexe building was very […] dark and did not feel safe for two women on their own. We complained and were taken back to the main hotel but they had no twin rooms avaiable so we had to accept a double room which was not ready and had to wait a further 40mins for this to be made up. I was not very impressed with the hotel staff for puttng us in this annexe building they kept saying it was an apartmnent but could not understand why they would give us this when we booked a twin room for one night. Seems there a a mess up over the rooms which is not very good considering the hotel was booked over six months ago. Would not use this hotel again. Mehr

the location great..rooms very small and a tiny bed. very good restaurant in hotel. i believe it was over priced. too many tours going through, that you get the felling your paying a great deal more than those guests.

The hotel is perfectly situated on the Ramblas, yet far enough from the "bad" area of this street. Rooms are fine (for Europe in this class of hotel) and breakfast above average, including hot food. Although not 5 star, I would stay here again.

Very nice stay. Definitely located in the most exciting area of Barcelona. La Rambla is a 24/7 happening place

Fairly expensive, but very nice location. Easy and helpful staff. Great rooftop views in the evening.

We stayed at the Rivoli Ramblas prior to our cruise out of Barcelona. This hotel is located on the Las Ramblas, a lively boulevard lined with shops,restaurants and street vendors. Many attractions are within walking distance. A reasonably priced convenience store is located across the street and public transportation is located 3 blocks away. The rooms […] are updated and very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel without any luggage - and the airport didn't have any idea where it was. The staff became our liaison by keeping in contact with the airport. I am certain they were instrumental in locating our luggage before our cruise began. Mehr

Very good location to explore the city. 5 minutes walk to the hotel from the bus stop in the main city square which connect you to the airport.Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast good with a good selection cerials,fruits,cheeses, cold and cooked food.

Location of the hotel was great, however, that is about it for the good stuff. Front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful. The room's a/c was not working properly when we arrived, and we had to request that they fix it. The beds were uncomfortable (typical of European hotels), the bathroom sink did not drain properly, the tv did not work, and […] the free wi-fi was not very fast at all. The room we got was facing the main street, so there was lots of street noise all the time. On our last day, the a/c stopped working again. Overall, I would recommend staying elsewhere. Although the room was small, rather plain and simple, it was clean and comfortable. The location was great and the price was right. I would recommend this hotel to the traveler who is staying only a few nights and wants to be near the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla and the metro and to whom price matters.

This hotel more than met our needs and expectations. We arrived around 8a.m. having concluded a cruise understanding that it was unlikely our rooms would be ready but that our luggage could be stored. Rivoli Ramblas was a better hotel than our hotel in Paris for the same price. The breakfast at Rivoli Ramblas is amazing, variety of breads, eggs and breakfast meats. There was complimentary internet as well. The staff was very helpful. Our room was a very good size and the bathroom was really nice. The hotel is right on Las Ramblas in the middle of […] all the action. You are one block from Plaza Catalunya, three blocks from the Cathedral, about a mile from the Picasso Museum and about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute cab ride to the train station. The only downside in getting this discounted room via hotels.com was that we got a room that was large but with a view of the back of the building. Mehr

This hotel is in a very good location, but is noisy. Theroom we were given overlooked a wall . The beds were uncomfortable and the toilet did not work half the time. We complained about it, but it was never really fixed. For the money it was not a great deal.

We enjoyed very much our 6 nights in the hotel.The room was available on time, the location is excellent ,one minute walk to the metro station and the Catalunia plasa. The morning breakfest was very rich and the service was very good. I would recommend the Rivoli hotel to all my friends

This hotel is quite shabby & certainly not worthy of a four star rating! We've stayed in numerous hotels across Europe & do not have unrealistic expectations. However, I was shocked at the Rivoli Ramblas. The lobby was small but nice. However, our room was definitely in need of paint, repair, cleaning, etc. & it was scorchingly hot when we walked in. […] The room had two double beds which were pushed together with horrible purple velvet/velour spreads. Very garish. The paint on the walls was quite worn & the bathroom looked unclean but we stayed on considering it was for just one night. Had we had a longer stay we would have definitely found another hotel. We scheduled a wake up call which we never received (not good when you are trying to make it to the airport)! Also, it was quite strange that around 8pm that night my husband & I were sitting on the bed in the room watching TV & on computer when the maid just let herself into our room! We thought she made a mistake but no! She proceeded to give us a room service menu & asked us if we would be wanting breakfast! We could not believe it! I have to say here that my husband is from Spain so there was certainly no language or cultural barrier here. It was just plain unacceptable! We would never return to this hotel nor would we recommend it to anyone. Stay away! One positive - The location is great. Mehr

Very nice experience; great location, close to tour busses and easy access to all of the things you would want to see; breakfast included and very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Excellent Location

Rivoli Ramblas is right on Las Ramblas, which is a tourist must, but extremely busy. If you hate crowds, stay away; if you want to be right in the center of action, this is it. It's also one block from Plaza Catalunya which is the center of everything. The hotel was very nice, nicely maintained. Powerful a/c.
