"At the Beach with a View"
We only stayed one night in this hotel, but I was wishing it could be more. We walked the beach in the late afternoon, and ate great seafood at a place on the beach called Shaggy's. Then we walked back as the sun set. Loved the fact that the hotel had wing windows along the side, so all? rooms had ocean views. And there was a high couch placed in front […] of the window, so you could lounge there and look at the view. Because of hurricanes, the beach is not lined with high rises. It was and awesome place to stay. Very close to the Casino as well as the beach. This was just a weekend get away and really enjoyed the safe and comfortable environment. This stay was enjoyable. Not only were we close to the beach but close to all the casinos as well. We enjoy the Hard Rock so well that we ate nearly all our meals there. Which was great because the hotel was close. Our room was quite clean and well maintained. While we were out for the day it was cleaned well also at that time. Very nice room with a view of the ocean. We got the breakfast package and the breakfast was very good, but every morning they forgot something that we were supposed to have (i.e. biscuits, syrup). The hotel was very outdated, the rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, even in the NON SMOKING rooms! The elevators were very old & the parking was horrible. It was advertised online & on this website to be an updated hotel & very close to the casinos, however, that was not the case. We had a 5 minute drive to the casinos every day as well as quite a drive […] to get to resturants and shops. I would not stay in this hotel again. Next time, if we ever come back to Biloxi, we will definently stay at the Hard Rock Casino instead of any of these smaller chain hotels. It would be difinently worth the extra money!!! Very nice lady at check in. Room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Free shuttle to Treasure Bay Casino and back. No free breakfast of any kind (was sort of odd). We were extremely happy with our stay at the Boloxi Holiday Inn on the beach. The staff was wonderful and the service was great. The food served in the onsite restaurant was all we expected and then some. We found our room in order and clean upon checkin. whatever the service we asked the staff at the Holiday Inn were on cue and target. We would definitely […] stay again. The staff of this hotel even gave me a personal call lettiing me know that I had left some personal belonging in the room after I had checked out and left the property. And that said a lot about the housekeeper like honesty and another star for this hotel with a above and beyond employee.
