Das Hotel hatte eine gute Verkehrsanbindung an die Interstate, war sauber und bot alle notwenigen Funktionalitäten. Das Frühstück bestand ausschließlich aus einem Becher Kaffee - das ist etwas zu wenig.

Ungewöhlich gutes Frühstück und die Erfrischung im Pool lassen den Neuen Tag gut anfangen. Die Wäschwaschmöglichkeitenn in den Super 8 Motels sind vorzüglich.

Lage
Southwest Inn at Sedona liegt in Sedona, West Sedona, in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Coffee Pot und Devil's Bridge. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung gehören: Chapel of the Holy Cross und Bell Rock.
Ausstattung
Die Unterkunft Southwest Inn at Sedona verfügt über folgende Annehmlichkeiten: Außenpool, Whirlpool und Fitnessmöglichkeiten. Ein kostenloser W-LAN Internetzugang steht in den öffentlichen Bereichen zur Verfügung. Jeden Morgen wird den Gästen ein kostenloses Frühstück serviert. Weitere Annehmlichkeiten sind: Concierge-Service, Geschenkeladen/Kiosk und Kamin in der Lobby. Allen Gästen stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung (mit oder ohne Parkservice). Zimmer
Die Zimmer verfügen über Patios. Die 28 klimatisierten Zimmer der Unterkunft Southwest Inn at Sedona bieten folgende Ausstattung: Kamine und CD-Player. Kabelfernsehen sowie DVD-Player stehen in den Zimmern zur Verfügung. Alle Unterkünfte bieten folgende Ausstattung: Schreibtische, Zimmersafes und Telefone mit mehreren Leitungen mit Voicemail; kostenlose Ortsgespräche sind ebenfalls inbegriffen (möglicherweise gelten Einschränkungen). Die Zimmer haben einen WLAN-Internetzugang. Die Betten in den Zimmern haben Pillowtop-Matratzen und hochwertige Bettwäsche. Kühlschränke und Kaffee-/Teekocher gehören ebenfalls zur Ausstattung. Zur Badausstattung gehören: Designer-Toilettenartikel und Haartrockner. Weitere Annehmlichkeiten sind: Bügeleisen/Bügelbretter und Deckenventilatoren. Die Einheimischen leben und kaufen in West Sedona, das auch als "echtes Sedona" bezeichnet wird. Dieser Stadtteil liegt unmittelbar nördlich des Red Rock State Park, einem mehr als einen Quadratkilometer großen Park, der einst zu einer privaten Ranch gehörte. Auf den Wanderwegen des Parks lassen sich Flora, Fauna und die besondere Geologie der Region besonders eindrucksvoll erleben. Besucher, denen Wandern nicht so sehr liegt, können die Red Rocks auch anders erfahren: Pink Jeep Tours bietet aufregende Offroad-Fahrten.

Excellent rooms with superb service from the staff...make sure you travel to Red Rock Crossing and Cathedral Rock...not far from this hotel.

"Southwest Inn is located in great hiking area"
The room decor needs a little updating. When you are surrounded by the Red Rock beauty why not exploit it in the artwork? Location is in the more"quite" end of town but still close enough to great restaurants and shopping. We frequented the nearby Coffeepot restaurant because the breakfast was skimpy. Closeness to the trailheads less traveled was perfect […] and the hirt tub soak at days end was priceless. I will stay here again. Mehr

The southwest inn is a little bit outside of Sedona's heart. However the personnel there was really helpfull to provide tips and Plans to visit the area. The overall hotel is in very good shape, you can see a lot of effort was put to make it nice with a good taste for decoration. Wifi is free, breakfast is really decent and offered as well. This was a great hotel for the price and the location. The breakfast was excellent and the weather was a little cool for swimming but was very inviting and heated! I would stay again!

We went to Sedona for my daughters wedding. Everything about this Hotel exceeded my expectations. Was the cleanest Hotel, I have ever been in. Fire place Going with Southwest music playing upon entering the room was wonderful, cozy. Room had everything one needed. Will look forward to next visit.!
"good hotel-bad front desk"
The hotel was nice to look at. The beds were not very comfortable. The front staff that I dealt with was not very nice and didn't want to communicate with me. I know she worked hard that day but you have to greet every person as if your life depends on it. One upset customer and no more business. "Sedona hotel."
Small hotel, but very nice. Room is very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, with an artificial fireplace. Above the lobby is a breakfast room for the free breakfast, which includes breakfast burritos. Get a second floor room, which has stunning views of the Sedona area. A little pricey, but worth it.

"sedona hotel"
We had a wonderful stay although too short. Staff very accomadating. We had a late arrival and the keys were at the room as told to us. Breakfast was pretty good. Want to return to Sedona and the southwest inn.

okay hotel but not worht the price.....better to stay in cheaper hotels....they give you almost the same facilities with a lot lesser price. not worth the price !!

we loved everything about our stay there for our anniversary. all of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. better than average continental breakfast complete with burritos! we plan to return.
"Great non-chain hotel in Tucson"
Although we were at the hotel for less than 12 hours, we were very impressed with the room. Very clean and reasonable size room with a gas fireplace on timer. Two bathrobes folded on the beds. Good variety at the included breakfast. Close to the main strip in Tucson, but far enough away to be away from all the uber-tourist section.

"Comfortable and Nice Stay"
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel mid November. The hotel is located in West Sedona right off Hwy 89A a little far away from downtown where all shops and restaurants are. The front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating. You need a car in order to get anywhere. The room was super clean and provided plenty of towels. Comfy beds, free wi-fi, nice […] flat-screen TV, fireplace in the corner. The room provided a coffee maker and a small refrigerator. We had also a free breakfast included in our rate and were able to try waffles, breakfast burritos, oatmeal, cereal, and fruits. If we go back to Sedona and we may stay here again. Mehr

Lovely place, centrally located. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. We only had a limited amount of time in Sedona and they told us where to drive and hike...great suggestions. Also a wonderful pizza place around the corner (walkable)..fabulous beers on tap, great pizza and terrific guys running the place.

My one night stay was most enjoyable. When I return to Sedona I definitely will stay in this wonderful Inn. Friendly service, fireplace in room, very comfortable beds, porch with table and chairs, nice pool and hot tub, great breakfast. What more could you ask for!

"A real find for this (relatively) frequent visitor"
Hadn't been to Sedona in a while and discovered this place online. We were delighted to check into a beautiful king room on the first floor (2nd floor views were better, maybe, but we were out checking out the views first-hand during the day anyhow so this was not a big deal). Big, well-appointed bathroom, very comfortable bed and pillows, all the things […] that matter to us in a hotel. It's on the southern edge of town, which we liked— near Oak Creek crossing and out of the busier and more touristy part of town (which, frankly, isn't all that far away). We ended up coming back from a few days in Phoenix to stay at the hotel again on our way home, rerouting our return trip for another night here. Mehr
"A wonderful stay in a beautiful room"
The nicest place we've stayed in Sedona. We weren't looking for a resort and didn't want to be in the center of town. (I rated the convenience of location high because although it's on the western edge of town, it's near many of the trails, including Red Rock Crossing and besides... it's a really small town!) Quiet, non-smoking property (yay!), beautiful […] room, comfortable beds and bedding, big, well-appointed bathroom, fridge, DVD player (we happened to have a couple with us but you can rent them from the front desk). I especially loved the kiva fireplace with the gas fire. Certainly wasn't cold, but boy did it add to the ambience. We came back through Sedona and no question where we were going to stay this time around. Nice staff, good location (for us) on the edge of town. Wonderful room. Mehr

lovely large room was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast included in rate. Views from hotel are wonderful to wake up to. We will stay here every time we visit Sedona!

Very pretty room, with a beehive fireplace! The breakfast room was so pretty and the items available for breakfast were very good. I would highly recommend staying and will stay again when I go back to Sedona.

We were very happy. Breakfast wasn't so great, but was ok. The hotel was very nice as was the front desk. We just spent $322.00 a night in Chicago and it wasn't half the hotel the one in Sedona is. It was a Westin. Shame on them. Thanks for asking.

Breakfast was ok but nothing special. The breakfast burrito was not as great as I read in previous reviews, to try it once is enough. Friendly but young staff at front desk. Obstructed views of Red Rocks from terrace. Swimming pool and jacuzzi not kept clean.

A very comfortable room, extremely helpful and courteous staff, and a tremendous breakfast offered in the morning. There's no way to go wrong at Southwest Inn.
Lovely little hotel with great service and facilities. Very well maintained. Would stay again but would ask for an upstairs room.

Will definetely stay at Sedona's South West Inn again. Staff was very friendly, Tghe continental Breakfast was great,. The mountain view was excellent. We were sorry to have to leave. Could have enjoyed a room microwave to complement the room frig.

A nice motel hotel for a couple of days stay. I wouldnt recommend it for a quick in an out stay because of the cost since the benefits offered wouldn't be used. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The location is somewhat inconvenent but not really a problem since the town is so small. The Inn is actually a Motel. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms seemed to be a little dark and overpriced for what you got but the were comfortable. The hotel had a small breakfast buffet but had lots of options. It is perfect for someone on the run. If you're a Denny's fan I would suggest going somewhere else.

A very nice, comfortable and well kept hotel. Location is about a ten minute drive from the downtown area of Sedona, but travel to that area is relatively easy. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and the breakfast provided was very good. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

We had an excellent room. Fuirnished in southwest style. The bed was softer than either of us liked, but the bedding was of good quality. Great views of the red rock canyons The hotel provides a decent breakfast included in the price, but the coffee (beware) is not very hot and not very tasty. The motel was conveniently located while arriving from the southwest, on Highway 89A. Giving them credit for hotel maintenance, it was inconvenient to park as the parking area was being resurfaced. The staff at check-in was most courteous and friendly; however at breakfast, which was located in a spacious area, we had to request more coffee both days […] of our stay, as well as more waffle batter. The view was nice, the bedroom pleasant with a patio, but I did expect a flat screen TV in the living area. I felt it was overpriced for the facility. Mehr

Not sure I'd call it a nearly 4 star hotel...maybe a two plus star...concern we had is that the toilet ran all night, and that kept me awake, plus sound of traffic on the busy road. I would not recommend upgrading to whirlpool bathtub - very outdated and not worth $10 extra. Breakfast, however, was great - and plenty of healthy, hot food..
