Wir waren 5 Tage in Las Vegas im Trump. Das Hotel hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Strip, ist sehr ruhig und hat kein Casino, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Daher auch eine Nichtraucherunterkunft. Shuttel zum Caesars Pallace alle 15min, ansonsten ist man aber auch zu Fuss gleich am Strip und kann bequem durch die Fashion Show mall flanieren. Uns hat es super gefallen. Das Hotel erhebt allerdings eine Ressort-Gebühr von 25$ pro Tag. Damit ist aber Internet etc. inklusive.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, leider wurde bei unseren 2 Übernachtungen nach der ersten Nacht wohl vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen, ok gibt schlimmeres, man kann ja die Handtücher auch 2x benutzen und da man in Vegas eh erst spät zurück ins Zimmer kommt, gehts halt mal in ein ungemachtes Bett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird zur Zeit umgebaut, wir haben davon aber nichts mitbekommen, das Zimmer war schön ruhig. Da man direkt in der Freemont Street wohnt, kann man, sofern man nicht auf den Vegas Strip möchte, sein Auto stehen lassen und auch mal ein paar Drinks mehr zu sich nehmen. Die Freemont Street hat sich noch ein wenig den ursprünglichen Charme und Charakter von Vegas erhalten, es gibt hier sogar noch einige Casinos, wo man noch mit Münzen in den Slotmachines spielen kann. Wer mehr als nur 1-2 Nächte in Vegas verbringt, sollte sich diesen Teil der Stadt unbedingt auch mal anschauen, es lohnt sich. Wir würden beim nächsten Vegas Aufenthalt in diesem Hote auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Hotel wurde vollständig renoviert; alles sehr sauber, freundliches Personal; wir hatten auch das Frühstück gebucht, gute Auswahl und ausreichend, leider muss man auch als Hotelgast nach 8:30 Uhr auf einen freien Tisch etwas warten; bis zum Strip sind es nur ein paar Autominuten; wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Erstaunlich, wie das Venetian es schafft, dem Besucher das Gefühl zu vermitteln, sich in Venedig aufzuhalten. Solange man nicht das düstere und leicht "abgestützte" Casino betritt, ist man gut aufgehoben.
Lage
Tropicana Las Vegas liegt in Flughafennähe in Las Vegas, The Strip, sowie in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Crystals at City Center, Sands Expo Convention Center und Thomas and Mack Center. "Hotel ist nice but not the best - Service ?!"
Unser Aufenthalt war okay aber es ist definitiv nicht das beste Hotel am Strip. es ist sehr gute gelegen direkt am Strip - Zimmer okay aber der Service könnte um einiges besser sein - wir hatten erst ein Zimmer (mit Hinterhof Ausblick) bekommen da unseres wohl nicht zur Verfügung stand und dann war es ein kleines Drama das Zimmer am nächsten Tag zu […] bekommen - man muss da schon um sein Recht kämpfen. Aber zum Übernachten okay und es ist ein sehr helles hotel (weiß + viel Farbe) das ist sehr schöön. Mehr

Wir waren am Ende unsere USA Reise für 2 Nächte im hotel Tropicana,daß im Internet gute Kritiken hatte.[…] bei Hotel com :alle zimmer mit Balkon:man sagte uns nach Anfrage.es gibt keine Zimmer mit Balkon.80 % der Liegen am Pool kaputt.Man konnte nur flach liegen.Rückenlehne kaputt.Oder man mußte morgens um 9 Uhr am pool sein ,wenn man eine liege erwischen wollte die ok ist.Preis leistungsverhältnis zum 5 sterne Hotel Mandelay Bay (Sonta - Freitag) nicht vergleichbar, wir würden das Hotel Tropicana nicht wieder buchen Mehr
Sehr schönes und sauberes Hotel. Leider kommt zu dem gebuchten Preis noch eine zusätzliche Resortgebühr von ca. 20$ für 2 Tage/2 Personen hinzu, die meines erachtens viel zu hoch ist für Internet/Poolnutzung etc.

"Sehr schöner Aufenthalt"
Mir hat das Hotel sehr gut gefallen. Die Wege sind kurz, die Poolanlage ist sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wir hatten einen schönen Blick auf den Strip. Das Gym ist zwar relativ groß, allerdings waren die Laufbänder zu Stoßzeiten permanent besetzt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist optimal.
mit Ausnahme des Wochendes (Nikki Club) eine perfekte Location für den Las Vegas Urlaub

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage direkt am Stripe.Das Zimmer war groß, hell, sehr freundlich eingerichtet. Es waren keine " versteckten Kosten " ( wie zum Beispiel für wifi oder valet-parking zu zahlen )

"älteres Hotel direkt am Strip - sehr OK"
Hotel liegt ziemlich am Ende des Strips neben dem MGM. Zimmer und Hotel älter, aber gut gepflegt. Poolanlage leider schmutzig und tagsüber nicht gereinigt (Becher liegen überall herum, ...) Service am Empfang 10 Punkte - supernett Preis-Leistung TOP!
"Good Value for Money"
Das Hotel gehört sicher nicht zu den Top-Adressen in Las Vegas und ist auch ziemlich unspektakulär. Wer aber nur zum Übernachten im Hotel ist, z.B. für business der erhält ein gutes Hotel zu sehr günstigen Konditionen.

Überraschung beim Check out es kamm noch eine Rechnung über 50 Dollar für Internet Benutzung. Keine Kaffemaschine im Zimmer dafür ein teurer Starbougsshop im Haus. Negativ auch nach einem Aufendhalt von 5 Nächten, eine Anfrage für eine 6 Nacht mit übertriebenen Preisaufschlag.

"Weekend Getawat"
Great place to stay for a long weekend. They did a nice job on the renovation. Got an awesome deal and they have a very reasonable resort fee. The pool was the perfect place to relax and have some drinks. Within walking distance to everything, just to the tram to mandalay bay and then another to north strip. Our key stopped working but security only […] took a couple of minutes to come open the door for us. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Mehr

"Much improved"
I used to say here years ago but the quality had gone way done in recent years. Found a great deal and decided to give it another try and boy has it improved. It's not the glitzy or glamorous of hotels but it was relaxing while still having that vegas vibe. I definitely would stay here again. the Casino was bright and clean, and the rooms well kept […] and above average. Mehr

very clean room. quiet. nice tv. no coffee pot in room(i understand they do it to get you down to the casino). lumpy beds. The Beach Cafe at the Tropicana was excellent and catered a lovely dinner for 24.

We chose the Tropicana based on price and rating by other Expedia users. This hotel is recently renovated, so the rooms were really nice. We could not get a king room with the view that we wanted, so we took a room with two queen beds and a view. Not a big inconvenience. Hotel staff was pleasant, not intrusive. A maintenance request was filled the same […] day. In room safe, a nice feature. This is one of the original hotels, so it does not have all the fancy amenities that some of the others do. It is dwarfed by the MGM next door. The shopping area has a distinct "airport shops" feel to it. The gaming floor is probably 1/10 the size of the floor in some of the other hotels. It is located toward the south end of the Strip, so plan on walking or riding to most of the other features on the strip. The Beach Cafe offers reasonably priced meals and the Marketplace is a carryout type shop that we used often. There are also two upscale restaurants in the building. Nice outdoor pool. Stay here for a reasonable rate and go visit the Veneitan or Bellagio for their expensive interiors. Mehr

"Tropicana"
Great location at south end of the strip. Although not perhaps as grand, exuberant and unique as the other well documented hotels on the strip, we were glad we chose the Tropicana in relation to all of the other hotels we walked around during our stay. The Tropicana is light and airy and has a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We didn't feel that […] hotels such as the MGM Grand, Excalibur and Mandalay Bay had the same vibe. "What a fun place"
It was really fun staying there. Some of the staff was very nice, however, When we asked for towels and called down the woman said they would be there in the next half hour to an hour. and we had reservations. When I asked her if I could just run down and get them she told me no. Every time I stay somewhere they are either very speedy about it or will […] have them at the front desk to grab. The waitress at the pool did not help us at all. I do not know if is because we were female or what, but they never assisted us at all and even completely ignored other female customers. Our hotel room was wonderful and the price was definitely accommodating. There was a big stain in our room as well though so it wasn't the cleaniest, but still nice. Overall we had a fun time. "Love The New Tropicana"
Loved the days i spent at the Tropicana... The new rooms are amazing, the services amazing. Wish I did not have to pay an extra $20.00 to check in early when there was tons of rooms and the room service is very expensive $35.00 for french toast... Other that that great hotel, limited food options but still worth it. Best stay I have had at NAB week […] in the last 3 years. Mehr
We liked this hotel - clean and quiet. The steakhouse restaurant was very good. The casino had a fun selection of machines. The only negative is that it is about a mile from the center of the strip if planning to see a show in that area.

I have stayed a my fair share of “recently renovated” hotels in Vegas, including the Riviera, the Imperial Palace, and the Sahara; all of which use the word “remodeled” as a gimmick to let you know that they shampooed their carpets, changed the color of their sheets and threw some air freshener in their casinos. Therefore, when I booked my stay at the […] Tropicana via Hotels.com, I expected the Tropicana to have done the same. Boy, was I wrong! Not only was the service deserving of a five star hotel—you know the kind that can even make you uncomfortable for being so attentive but deep down you love the pampering offered to you—but they indeed meant “renovated”. Despite my raggedy look (I drove from San Diego in raggedy jean shorts and a not very flattering tan-top) I was very attentively received by the valet, the bell desk and the check in desk. And, and! I was allowed to check in early! The white floors, clean carpeting, and non-smoky air made me want to play in the casino—a lot (someone has to commend the great s air suction system in the building)! My room had a very comfortable bed, plantation shutters, and an air conditioner that I did not hear nor did I have to fiddle with: my room was at the perfect temperature from the moment I checked in to the minute I checked out. I had a view of the airport, but who cares, right? You don’t go to Vegas for the view. And, despite the hotel’s proximity to the airport, the windows do indeed shield you from any noise that maybe coming from the arriving and departing airplanes. The water in the newly renovated pool was delicious—not too cold, not too warm—just perfect for the desert weather. One of their Jacuzzis was out of service, but the one working was relaxing and not too hot, I hate it when the water is too hot to even get in. The Tropicana is not your grandparents’ hotel any longer. It is Schick, clean, and given enough time I bet it will be trendy. Mind you, I don’t go to Vegas that often, maybe twice a year, three Mehr

quite fresh and modern, with lots of restos and amenities... some stuff quite far to walk to.... room was nice, but not as amazing as i had hoped. i hear that some are fully renovated, others only partially. enjoyed the extended late check out. pool area was awesome. 24 hour hot tubs a plus. beds and sheets super comfy! price affordable for the value. not […] a huge fan of the pole dancer in the casino... quite sketchy and trashy... but all together- a great stay. would go back.
