Wir waren 5 Tage in Las Vegas im Trump. Das Hotel hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Strip, ist sehr ruhig und hat kein Casino, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Daher auch eine Nichtraucherunterkunft. Shuttel zum Caesars Pallace alle 15min, ansonsten ist man aber auch zu Fuss gleich am Strip und kann bequem durch die Fashion Show mall flanieren. Uns hat es super gefallen. Das Hotel erhebt allerdings eine Ressort-Gebühr von 25$ pro Tag. Damit ist aber Internet etc. inklusive.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, leider wurde bei unseren 2 Übernachtungen nach der ersten Nacht wohl vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen, ok gibt schlimmeres, man kann ja die Handtücher auch 2x benutzen und da man in Vegas eh erst spät zurück ins Zimmer kommt, gehts halt mal in ein ungemachtes Bett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird zur Zeit umgebaut, wir haben davon aber nichts mitbekommen, das Zimmer war schön ruhig. Da man direkt in der Freemont Street wohnt, kann man, sofern man nicht auf den Vegas Strip möchte, sein Auto stehen lassen und auch mal ein paar Drinks mehr zu sich nehmen. Die Freemont Street hat sich noch ein wenig den ursprünglichen Charme und Charakter von Vegas erhalten, es gibt hier sogar noch einige Casinos, wo man noch mit Münzen in den Slotmachines spielen kann. Wer mehr als nur 1-2 Nächte in Vegas verbringt, sollte sich diesen Teil der Stadt unbedingt auch mal anschauen, es lohnt sich. Wir würden beim nächsten Vegas Aufenthalt in diesem Hote auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Hotel wurde vollständig renoviert; alles sehr sauber, freundliches Personal; wir hatten auch das Frühstück gebucht, gute Auswahl und ausreichend, leider muss man auch als Hotelgast nach 8:30 Uhr auf einen freien Tisch etwas warten; bis zum Strip sind es nur ein paar Autominuten; wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.

Erstaunlich, wie das Venetian es schafft, dem Besucher das Gefühl zu vermitteln, sich in Venedig aufzuhalten. Solange man nicht das düstere und leicht "abgestützte" Casino betritt, ist man gut aufgehoben.

Wonderful service, beautifully kept hotel........Spotlessly maintained. Wonderful to see such pride. Two things..............tub surrounding tile was coming off wall which we reported at the front desk out of consideration for them. On our last nite we did not sleep a wink because of a party going on in the next room. It was relentlously rowdy. We didn't […] realize that we should have called security until we reported it the next morning.......So unfortunate to leave on that note...........We are informed as to prodical for next time........Yes we would highly recommend it to our friends. We both work in hospitals so many many will know how well maintained and how highly noted the service was. We will both no doubt be delighted to stay there on our next visit. We hope to make it every few months from here on in. The other factor to note was the grounds were spectacular. It was like being in Hawaii but better. "Wonderful stay at Topicana!"
The hotel looks great in it's new clothes! The pool area is gorgeous. The only minor complaint is the noisy bathroom fan.
we enjoyed our stay at the tropicana, Staff was friendlly and helpfull and we would stay there again. The pool was lovely but the music for our ears too loud and always the same kind.

Had a great stay here, hotel was spotlessly clean and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and we had a fantastic view of Excalibur and Luxor from our room. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to do Vegas on a budget and not notice you are !! Fantastic swimming pool and gardens in the middle of the hotel !!

"Tropicana - Las Vegas - great hotel!"
The hotel was great! It's in a great location near the end of the strip but still not too far out. Right next to MGM, Excalibur, Coca Cola, M & M's, great restaurants, entertainment, etc. Great value for the price. Don't forget that you will be charged a resort fee there which includes your internet access. Pool is large. Rooms clean. You may have a […] bit of a walk to your room but we didn't mind. Mehr

We liked that the Tropicana was cleaner smelling than the surrounding New York, NY and the MGM which kiddy corner the hotel on the strip. Also, Tropicana is quieter and has a nice pool. Too eat or party, go next door then cross the street to come home. One complaint: The room service was always slow and late and one day of five our room was not made […] up at all. "A plesent casino in Vegas?"
Totally renovated and refreshingly bright. Most casinos in this price range are dark and lifeless, Tropicana is the complete opposite with bright yellows and creams and a casino floor where you can tell if it is day or night outside! The rooms were very spacious, totally renovated, and at the price a realistic option for families or those not wanting […] to spend $200+ a night. Very comfortable beds and an above average bathroom, adds to this being a serious hotel pick on the Strip. Added things like a room safe, massive HD TV, IPod dock and plenty of cupboard and drawer space again add to this being a safe pick. The only criticism was breakfast facilities, both mornings the wait was 40 minutes plus and that was at 9am, although there are 2 Starbucks where you can grab something if you are happy to. The bar was great and the cover band playing on Thursday night was one of the best I have seen. Overall a very good, renovated, clean hotel with a fantastic pool setting (when finished). I would stay here again if I went back to Vegas for sure. Mehr

"great place"
From the check-in to the check-out. Great place. Spa was great. Doug at reception went beyond the call of duty to get me checked in and helped with the late check out. Beach cafe service and quality was great. Location and easy access to the tram was also much appreciated.

What can you say when you get 10 days of sunshine and the great pool area, casino has been redone, rooms not so much; but the service from everyone there was incredible; would I go back and send my friends and family? MOST DEFINATELY!!!

This old hotel is reborn and amazing. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. We felt pampered and enjoyed the new atmosphere immensely. It is a truly beautiful hotel with beautiful people making sure everything is taken care of. The pit bosses and dealers are friendly and reminiscent of table games staff of the early 1980's. "unhappy employees"
There was a long line to check in. I was there on the country music awards night, so every hotel should have staffed up to process the folks checking in. The dealers were angry and the cocktail waitress was not nice. Not sure why they hire angry people to do customer service type of jobs. The hotel was remodeled since I was there last and it is nice... […] very tropical design with wicker type of turniture and palms trees, so that was cute. Beds were comfortabel and clean... but I believe the rooms were a bit overpriced compared to there hotels. Mehr
"Just Ok"
The room was just ok. The toilet had problems and would run continuously after flushing. The air conditioning was very slow to cool the room. The tv had a buzzing sound when watching certain channels. That said it was fairly clean and the beds were ok.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Recently updated decor. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The cafe has really good food. The location is great and the hotel wasn't overly busy like some of the other bigger casinos. I would stay again.

Convenient. Personnel are customer oriented - very helpful & accommodating. Wish there were more restaurants to choose from. Beach Cafe was good. Service excellent Reported broken bathtub safety handle. Hope they fix it.
"Tropicana Resort Fee"
The resort fee was waived on some of my friends because we did not use any of them like the internet and whatever things the hotel has to offer to its guests. We were having a class reunion and were out together all the time . I think it is unfair to charge me and my other friends had theirs waived.

The rooms should have a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. I understand the hotel would like us to spend our money downstairs. However, a small coffee maker is at the very least, a standard in any given hotel room. Everything else was exceptional.

"Great....mostly"
Tropicana has done an incredible job of reinventing itself. The rooms don't look renovated, they look brand new- like you'd expect at a resort that had just opened. The casino is also renovated, and for us the smaller size (as compared to other Strip casinos) was a welcome relief. Food-wise, we ate off-site or stuck to the Beach Cafe, which has a […] very quality breakfast buffet- never a line for the omelet station. The one negative is that some of the staff appears to have not upgraded with the hotel. Many were extremely nice and professional, but our experience with a few was very lacking. When trying to check in, the 20 or so of us in line were sent by one gentleman to a different line. 5 minutes later, after he had left, another employee approached us and rudely asked us what we were doing there because check-in wasn't for 2 hours. We, of course, told her that we had been told just a few moments ago to stand exactly where we were standing. She said, very unapologetically, "well, I don't know who told you that, but you can't wait in line here". That certainly did not ruin the overall experience- for the money, this is a terrific place to stay. Mehr
"Good"
It would have been an okay location if any of the escalators had been working, none of them were. However that is not the Tropicanas fault. The hike to our room was a bit of a walk but it was still manageable. I would definitely stay here again.
Had a great time. I much rather stay in the paradise tower, since its so easy to get to. Still a little smokey in the evenings but the mornings seem fresh. We had a really nice time. Thanks

This hotel was a tremendous dissapointment. I returned from my "vacation" with a hacking cough from the disgusting carpet in the room and the cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE! The hotel itself needs an internal shuttle from the lobby to the rooms and the concierge staff knew nothing about anything that was not going to make them money ie bus locations, etc. […] Extremely dissapointed and would not reccomend Mehr

I scoured the strip for the best deal for 3 couples on the strip. This is the best deal right now. I expect their prices will increase as visitors come to appreciation the rennovation

Has been refubished to a very high standard, Very short distance to the airport which is a $15 taxi ride.The hotel is the beginning of the strip so you are in the action immediately.

While this hotel isn't as grand or flashy as some of the others, I found it to be really exceptional for the price we paid. The renovations are well done, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The entrance and casino area are bright and open, and not smoky at all. It's a smaller casino area, but I liked that since I wasn't there to gamble. The […] price was extremely reasonable - quite a bit less than some of the more expensive ones and not that much more than some of the lower end hotels. Three downsides - 1) we stayed in the Club tower so it was definitely a hike to the room; 2) I didn't like that the fitness room was only open until 7pm; and 3) the pool area was closed for renos when we were there. None of those were deal breakers, but when you're paying a daily "resort fee" you'd like to get to enjoy all of the amenities. Mehr
