the external appearance of the hotel was fine. it had an overall nice ambiance. However, the hotel itself had several observable issues. The elevators didn't work properly. there were three elevators and one of them was not working all the time. the two in service elevators had extremely long wait times. i waited about 12 minutes on one occasion. There […] was also a ceiling leak outside the elevator in the lobby area. Inside my room, there was a damaged window. there was also a horrible odor in the washroom coming from the toilet. it seemed to be a plumbing sewage/problem. The smell was so bad and lingering that I eventually had to get another room in the hotel. another con about the hotel rooms is that there were no bathroom vents to defog the mirrors when taking a hot shower. I thought that was a bit unusual for a hotel in 2012. Mehr

well-maintained and pleasant staff. Problem of no AC despite intense sun and heat on sunny side in April. Overall very satisfactory.

The hotel was fine - the staff were good - very helpful - my only issue was with the beds - they are the air beds (for want of a better description) which I have accidently ended up with before at other hotels and which I detest - for this reason I would not stay at a Radisson again.

The place looks very nice, but when you checked in, it is a whole different story. Our car was out of juice, and need to borrow a jump starter which most hotels have it, but they don't! So we asked 20 sth people who stayed lobby for help which the front desk people were just indifferently watching us. Later at night, me and my colleges were doing very […] important work, and the wifi stopped, we called front desk, they asked us to call the wifi company ourselves. I mean, serious? I am from America, i dont even have a phone in Canada, and you guys asked me to use the hotel phone which cost me a dollar a call to ask your guys wifi provider whats going on? That's never happened to me before. And the most funniest thing is, at night, me and my college wanted to have another blanket, so the front desk told us one bed only have one blanket, they don't have extra ones, so they gave us 2 sheets....that's...well my impression of them is they got nothing! The only thing good is the Asian girl who worked at the front desk, she is so nice, we told her what we've been through in their hotel, she kindly took off our parking surcharges. Thank you for that. Well, my college said that he is not gonna stay in any Radission anymore, but I think it is still a good hotel, just they need to work on their costumer services. Mehr

The room was not in the best condition. Stained floors and dingy decor. The sleep number beds did not work. Overall ok for the price. At least the staff is friendly.

Although this hotel was conveniently located near my relatives, I would not stay here again. The man who checked us in was rude. They switched our room to a king bed from 2 queen beds and when I said I preferred the 2 queen beds, he never spoke another word...just typed at the computer and handed our keys to us. I wasn't sure if he switched it back […] to the 2 queens until we opened the door. The room hasn't been updated in 20 years...dirty from use, torn wallpaper. The solution to being too warm was to turn off the thermostat. It was still too warm though. The beds were supposed to be one of those dial-a-numbers...My bed had no remote and half the bed was mushy and the other was as hard as a rock. You could actually feel the wall it created down the middle of the bed. I'll drive further away to have a better place to stay...Absolutely NOT worth the money I paid. Mehr

The pictures on the internet didn't look at all like the room. The bathroom was dirty. The service was not that great too. The second day when the service came too clean our room they did'nt even change our sheets and we were missing towels and they did'nt throw out the bargage. WAS 5 MINS FROM MY WORK LOCATION. LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF SHOPPING , RESTAURANTS, COFFEE SHOPE AND GAS STATIONS. EVERYTHING RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR. THE 401 IS ON THE DOORSTEP, SO THE 15 RIDE DOWNTOWN TO THE MALL WAS QUICK AND EASY

This hotel is just OK. Needs some updating. Not impressed by sleep number beds. Staff could have been friendlier. I would advise to find another place.

The pool is advertised as heated..my kids could not swim because the pool was so cold. I asked the agent at the hotel behind the desk what the temp was and was told it was 23C (73F). The bathroom in our room was the smallest bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. No more than one person could be in the bathroom at one time, you couldn't close the door […] while sitting on the toilet, and you had to close the door to be able to get into the tub (it was behind the door). The bathroom was dirty and old. The beds were the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I was very disappointed in this hotel and will never stay at another Radisson again. Mehr

We only spent one night at the hotel to meet up with friends that were staying there from Northern Ontario. The staff from front desk to bar to cleaning and service were 10 out of 10. The hotel is dated but has been upgraded. The bar is adequate but the restaurant wants. The front desk was able to direct us to more than suitable dining quite close by. […] A good place to stay for the short haul. I wouldn't stay a week. Mehr

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel, and it met my needs of reasonably priced accomodation, easy access to the HWY 401 and Don Valley Parkway and the 404 and a comfortable night's rest. Several restaurants and services nearby, but definitely not a tourist spot. It sits a few metres from the highway 401. This hotel is in a very convenient location for my business travel, but I will never stay here again. Here is why: 1. Staff was less than enthusiastic when booking my room. 2. When I exited the elevator I stepped onto carpet that looked like it had been partied on since the 80s. It was absolutely covered with stains. 3. The TV remote barely worked. 4. […] The toilet was stained. 5. The shower curtain was not large enough and caused a bathroom flood every morning. 6. You have to pay for parking. 7. The first time my room was cleaned the maid did not replace any of the soaps or lotion. 8. In order for the toilet to flush you have to hold the handle down. 9. The wall paper was peeling. 10. The ceiling paint and plaster is peeling. I was so grossed by the lack of cleanliness and general upkeep, I refused to go to the restaurant or even drink out of the glasses in my room. The only upside is it has free wireless and there is a Starbucks and a Tim Horton's across the street. Mehr

I stayed 3 nights in a room on the 2nd floor. Appart from the beds and bedding, everything in room was outdated and badly stained. I did not walk on carpet with bare feet because it was so awfull. I wanted to change room, but was told they would get back to me if there was one available...they didn't get back to me. I had 3 days of grubby room and a […] very very very strong smell of gas. I was located on the same side as the laundry room, which has gas laundry machines. The fumes were seeping into my room with the window closed! This hotel compares to a super8....dont waste spending the extra money thinking that the hotel is better! The food is not that good either. Very expensive for what you get. Many problems with this hotel. it advertises free wi-fi, and it's in common areas only, not the rooms. the heating/cooling system sounded like someone was beating the ducts with a hammer everytime it turned on or off. It's listed as 7.2 miles from city Center which i believe is inaccurate, and surrounding area goes from rundown to dangerous in a few […] blocks. Food in the restaurant was not good, wine even worse. I was there on a business trip and the location was perfect for me. Walking distance from where I was to work. we got to the Hotel and just by looking at it room windows were shattered, like someone threw something out the room. No mention by the staff of this and that they were to change it. the staff s very friendly and helpfull. We got in our room […] and the carpet was stained. there were hair in the bed. One of us started to have an allergic reaction. I went down to the front desk and asked if there was an animal in that room. The clerck could not confirm as he said no rooms were reseved for no animals like room had no smoking policies. I think it it strange that they would not consider the allrgies or that they would not wash the carprt thoroughly after. kinda explains the stains on the carpet. they did change our room having us on a higher floor. It was a bit cleaner, still old as the drain in the shower needed repair as it wouldnt drain. the breakfast was cold and the numbers bed are not comfortable. feels like sleeping on an infaltable camping matress. The hotel is a well-maintained very comfortable facility located right at the intersection of the two busiest Toronto area freeways: The Don Valley Parkway/Hwy 404 and Hwy 401. The hotel is comfortable and modern; as a hotel I would have given it 3 1/2 or even 4 stars, not the 3 stars hotels.com assigns it. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant […] are superb, professional, polite, knowledgeable and accommodating. They sent a shoeshine kit to my room. They found me a nearby place to get a inexpensive but excellent haircut. The front desk handled all issues quickly, promptly and accurately. The hours of the restaurant and lounge were a little limited (I couldn't get lunch there one day), but the menus and selection of wines and beers was adequate. The gift shop seems to have very limited hours. You cannot buy snacks/drinks there. The pool was nothing special. It is designed for kids (smallish, peanut-shaped), not the business traveler. There was no hot tub or sauna Regrettably, I did not check out the fitness center. I usually find these a disappointment when I travel so I did not bother. The room had a fridge (no mini-bar) and complimentary coffee, but just for one cup!?. It was very comfortable and quiet. A large comfortable king size bed, flat-screen TV with 50 or so channels. Free cable Internet in each room (no WiFi except on main floor, cable provided.) There is a drink machine on each floor which only accepts coins. Snack machine only on second floor. The hotel was great value for what I paid through hotels.com, for what I got, and considering it was during the Toronto International Film Festival. Location may be the only serious drawback. It is best to have a car when there. The hotel is most suitable for families driving to nearby attractions (e.g; Canada's Wonderland, the Zoo, Science Center). Not all but some staff in the restuarant are very rude

Herè is my opinion. The hotel is convenient for the main Highway 401 but not much else. You can walk to a few restaurants and a Food Basics supermarket. Parking is $7 per night extra plus tax. You could get there by bus but it would not be very convenient. It is good that the computers are in the lobby. I didn`t see anyone use the pool. The restaurant […] was closed on Sunday night and it looks fairly expensive anyway, so I did not try it. The elevators and bathroom could use renovations. And the water pressure and plumbing are not great. The sleep number bed is nice. The television worked works okay. It is nice that you can open a window. The table for the coffee maker is too low. There was a lot of noise from the people in the room next door until after 11:00 p.m. even after I asked them to be quiet. The connecting doors between the rooms are not good for quiet. Mehr

Lives up to the 3-star rating. We got a room with a king size bed that you can adjust the firmness. Personally I didn't like it. I don't think it is as comfortAble as a regular bed. The pole for the shower curtain was half unscrewed so the curtain was sort of hanging. Staff was very professional and nice.

Not bad for a cheaper hotel in toronto. Clean and nice staff. Problems was my shower didnt work. The handle broke off.

Well, when I checked in the room keys didn't work and when down to the front desk 3 times like they did not care about us. Customer service was sucked at all...

Hotel was nice and clean and seemed to be updated. Sleep number beds were a major dissappointment. We had a room with 2 queen beds and you would think one would work properly. We couldn't find our number on either one. We came in late and didn't feel lime changing rooms so we dealt with it. The pool was clean, but the water and room temp was cccccold. […] We were east of the city a.d got stuck in traffic leaving downtown for 1.5 hrs. That stunk. Mehr

We enjoyed staying at the Hotel it is beautiful it just need's a HOT tub/spa by the pool what is a nice one, and a better choices for breakfast in the cafe downstairs

We had a great experience at this hotel. Booking with Hotels.com was very easy. Once the room was booked I called the hotel to verify if everything was ok, and I was told that they have no idea about my reservation. But when I called Hotels.com they solved the problem right away. So back to the hotel now: check in was very fast and easy. They gave us […] a room with a free fridge (otherwise it is $10 per night) because we had 2 children with us. The room was very clean and spacious with big windows. No fault of the hotel the bed deflated in the middle of the night. We waited till morning to say something and the hotel management was very good. They gave us another night free if we book in a year, and a free breakfast, along with free parking. The sleep was good until the air bladder sprang a leak. I found the Radisson to be quite conveniently located to Hwy 401 & restaurants. I found the hotel to be quite comfortable, minus the only window in the room being nailed shut. I do like fresh air, and in a 'smoking' room it's absolutely necessary. I think it may also be a fire code violation. All else was great at the Radisson.
