Meine Freundin und ich haben uns das Hotel für ein romantisches Wochenende in Denver rausgesucht und sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Nachdem unsere Anreise auf grund des starken Schneesturms am Vortag erheblich erschwert wurde und unser Flug von LA gecancelt wurde, kamen wir ohne Gepäck (war noch in Dallas) in Denver an. Der Check-In verlief problemlos und schnell. Zudem wurde uns direkt mitgeteilt, dass von 17-19 uhr eine Manager's reception statfindet, bei der es kostenlos Cocktails/Longdrinks und Snacks gibt (Das wiederholte sich auch am Samstag; ist anscheinend eine dauerhafte Veranstaltung). Das Zimmer bzw. die Suite war perfekt. Neben einem Wohn-/Arbeitszimmer mit Schreibtisch und Couchecke gab es im Durchgang einen "Küchenbereich" mit Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine und Waschbecken. Das Bad war ausreichend groß. Auch das Schlafzimmer bot ausreichend Platz. Das gesamt Zimmer war sehr sauber, was das wichtigste für uns ist. Im Großen und Ganzen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut. Man ist in 10-15 Minuten zum Pepsi-Center gelaufen (Arena der NHL und NBA Teams), ebenso ist das Convention Center direkt neben dem Hotel und in der Umgebung sind diverse Restaurants und Shops. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr üppig und sehr lecker. Einzig die Wartezeit bei den Omlets war etwas länger. Das war allerdings auch dadurch bedingt, dass das Hotel anscheinend fast ausgebucht war und wir zu den Hauptzeiten gefrühstückt haben. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Tolles Hotel in der Nähe des Airports. Die Zimmer sind einwandfrei. Das Bad erstklassig. Die eingebaute Küche mit Mikrowelle und riesigem Kühlschrank wollte ich trotz kleinem Shop im Hotel nicht nutzen. Das Hotel liegt wegen der Airportnähe auch in der Mitte vom Nichts. Eine Handvoll Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Der Service punktete durch die spontane Bereitschaft den kostenlosen Shuttlebus statt zum Flughafen auch zum Rental CAr anzubieten. Die Abwicklung war einwandfrei. Frühstück typisch amerikanisch. Das ginge besser. Ganz bestimmt bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder.

Lage
Comfort Inn Denver Southeast befindet sich mitten in Aurora in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeit: Town Center at Aurora. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region gehören: Denver Museum of Nature and Science und Denver Botanic Gardens.

Obwohl es sich um eine der größten Städte in Colorado handelt, ist Aurora eher als Vorort von Denver bekannt. Zum Stadtgebiet zählt auch Stapleton, der frühere Flughafen von Denver. In Stapleton wurde mit einer traditionellen Hauptstraße, Geschäften und einem Farmer-Markt das ursprüngliche Stadtbild wiederhergestellt. Zu den weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten von Aurora zählen die Buckley Air Force Base und das Plains Conservation Center, ein über 440 Hektar großes Pflanzen- und Tierschutzgebiet.

"Close to airport Denver and friends"
Nice stay for price. Nice on and off freeway. Hotel staff nice. Would stay there again.
Allgood or better except the room smelled of cigarette smoke because the floor used to be smoking floor.

"Unadulterated Bliss"
After a grueling drive from Memphis, TN to Denver, CO, we need a place to stop and recuperate. This was right off of the freeway, very clean, staff was extremely helpful, and the room...it was like walking into a giant cotton and silk cloud. No really. The bed swallowed me up with large pillows and puffy sheets and I dreamt dreams that I have never […] dreamt before. Amazingly comfortable (and i'm usually a hard sell). The continental breakfast was surprisingly large: Eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, real coffee. Dare I say, this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time. Mehr

"Very nice room"
The accommodations were actually better than the Hilton we stayed at the next night in Colorado Springs. And it was close to Twisters- our favorite breakfast burritos locale! :)

Only thing we could complain about we're a ton of Magazine sales kids running around the hotel with bad language and not polite. Would go back again but will call to make sure there are no sales crews bombarding the hotel.

Just what you would expect from a Comfort Inn. Nothing fancy, but a clean comfortable place to stay. They also serve breakfast until 9:30 which is nice for those of us who like to sleep in a bit

"Good affordable hotel"
This place is not fancy. It is clean and comfortable. It offers a bed, table with chairs, recliner, minifridge, and microwave. The wireless works well. Plus, it offers more than just a few TV channels. There are many restaurants in the area. I have stayed on two occasions.

"GREAT Hotel"
This is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Great to be able to stay at a great hotel for just a couple of 20s a night. Will stay here everytime I come to Denver.
"Exterior needs help but the inside is great"
When you pull up, it looks like a dump. Once you get past the desk, the hotel is bright and well maintained. The room was comfortable. The bed was fantastic. It was clean and I couldn't ask for more.
"Best Bang for Your Buck"
I got a really great rate (super LOW - less or comparable to the regular rates of really scummy, low priced hotels) on the Comfort Inn Denver Southeast about less than a week before I was going to be there, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, as I hoped it would be, but it was also very spacious; there was a sleeping area […] w 2 queen beds and then a whole living room area with a couch and a breakfast table with chairs. The staff was very accommodating. We drove from NJ to Denver in about 33 hours, arriving around 7:30am, and even though check in wasn't supposed to be until 4pm, they found us a room that we could get into immediately so we could finally sleep, and we didn't have to change it later. we also got to eat the continental breakfast that morning. So really, it was almost like they gave us an extra day free! (for us and the time change and lack of sleep) The continental breakfast wasn't exactly the same each of the days we were there, which was good (the breakfast meats varied), and there was always plenty of hot and fresh food available. very good spread - and even a Belgian waffle maker! The hotel is very close to the main roads, and there were a few good places to eat nearby, we tried Noonans, which was decent bar food. great wings, and they delivered to the hotel if we wanted to order to there. There was just no beating this deal from hotels.com. Mehr
"Comfort Inn hospitality"
The hotel was very nice I had to stay for a funeral and had to bring my two dogs and my two year old. The guest were very nice and so were the staff overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone in the Aurora area

"comfort inn on iliff"
The location was easy to find but quite a ways from downtown. The showers from the next rooms were kind of noisy in our room. The rooms were well priced and the rooms were comfy. There is a variety of places to eat around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for inexpensive stay without the worries of a scary room.

After over a week on the road and 6 nights in hotels this one had the most comfortable bed. Even better than the one I have at home!

"Aurora Hotel"
The hotel was nice, clean, and the staff were helpful. The people at Hotels.com where very helpful since a blizzard hit Denver, and we had booked another day. However, between Hotels.com and the staff, we went home a day earlier to avoid a disasterous trip back to Grand Junction. Thanks!

Nice, clean, quiet hotel just off Hwy. 225 for easy access to Aurora and Denver. Took our dog, and he was happy too! Good breakfast buffet with ample choices.

After arriving early evening in Denver, we just needed somewhere to lay our heads before heading to Winter Park the next day. This hotel is dated, but clean. "Great Location, easy access to I-225"
Customer Service was great. Reserved a room with non-smoking however, it smell like smoke & TV/Remote are old. Furniture needs upgrade.
checked in, went to the room, there was the smell of smoke in our no smoking room. The guy at the desk handled the problem very quickly, and professionally. He gave us a bigger nicer room - no extra cost - no problem. All good after that.

"EXCELLENT BUT ...."
Hotel for the money was excellent based on location & cleanliness. But, the floors are way to THIN. Every-time the room above walks you could almost see the footprints over your head. Didn't not help that is was painfully obvious my above neighbors where unaware from 0200-0400 the lack of depth between their conversations and my attempt at SLEEP.

"Staying near family"
The hotel was nice enough, and it was particularly quiet. We had our small dog with us, and we never heard the large dog in the room next to ours (although I think he must have once or twice). (We only learned of it when we passed the people in the hall and they asked if we'd heard it.) We DID hear the loud children in that room the following night […] though. My only real complaints were that the pillows were infinitesimally small, and the shower did not have great water pressure. It was clean, and the breakfast was somewhat better than the free continental breakfast places like this usually have. (It included a make-your-own waffle station, scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, etc.) All in all a good value. Mehr
"Needs serious renovation and cleaning"
While the location was extremely convenient for our stay in Aurora, CO and the neighborhood seemed safe and quiet (even though it was just off of the interstate) with plenty of nice (enough) restaurants nearby, the condition of the hotel room itself was not as pleasant. The carpet was stained near the bathroom - hopefully that was paint! Otherwise, […] the room and the hotel in general had a bit of a run down feeling. I expect function and cleanliness, not luxury, from a hotel like Comfort Inn and when one or both of those characteristics fall short, it becomes pretty disappointing. We stayed at a Comfort Inn in Amarillo, TX on this same trip and had a much better stay. Mehr

"Convenient"
I stay here often when in town. Not sure how much longer I will do this as this hotel is in a desperate need of a remodel. This time I had a leaky tub faucet and a refridgerator making a clanging noise which made it hard to sleep. Staff always professional and friendly.
