Comfort Suites Biltmore Mall - Asheville

On the ride home from a vacation in NC, we stopped in Nashville to catch a Predators game. Despite being completely booked, the staff at the hotel did their best to accomodate our needs and provided us with a wonderful overnight respite.

Very clean hotel,the staff is very helpfully and the breakfast is wonderful.

Very comfortable and clean. A good buy for the price.

A good Comfort Suites location. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean. Breakfast was well done - 2 people worked the room to keep everything stocked, only problem was at the morning rush there were not enough tables. It's next to a mall but our room on the second floor was quiet. Came with a micro, fridge/freezer. TV is a tube set with a good selection […] of channels. The 'Hotels" website listed it as rookm with 2 queen size beds but actually they were barely full size. The hotel management told me that they did not have any rooms with queen size beds.

First of all it was my honeymoon, and my wife and I had a wonderful time. the hotel was wonderful, having the mall in walking distance was great. My wife said next year she wants to return, i'm happy to say we will be booking this hotel next year. Thanks for a great stay.

Room layout was nice with jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was very difficult to turn on. I called for help and I waited 1/2 hour for a man with attitude. Kinda ruined evening. I brought a dinner to microwave and make tea in the coffee machine. Neither worked. A flat screen TV would have been nice. On the positive side, the breakfast choices were excellent.

Nice hotel, bed could have been more comfortable. Offer breakfast did not partake

Hotel staff was amazing! Breakfast was excellent. Room was great & very clean. Whirlpool was awesome! Outdoor pool was close for maintenance but that was ok with us. Hotel is very close to the mall, a Super Kmart & many places to eat. Close enough to Biltmore and you can buy discounted tickets at the desk. Hotel was moderately clean. Walls were super thin - very loud staff. Will never stay at this chain again.

This hotel was very nice. The hotel attendent gave a us a great recommendation for dinner plus a discount coupon! The room was clean and quite and we would definetely stay there again.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and it was great. We could access I-26 easily and there were stores around if we needed them. Breakfast is beyond busy - better to take food back to room to eat.

the hotel was very quiet, and it was very easy to relax after an eventful day downtown Asheville. It is also convenient to the I-26,which made it easy to get back to Greeniville for work. Our dog loved the room too.

Great service from the staff, clean rooms. Breakfast was just okay, but overall a great stay.

Overall an acceptable stay. The only issue is associated with the much promoted happy hour and breakfast services. The happy hour was marked by an overcrowded dining area and two few hotel service people. The result was long lines and product shortages. This was the perfect pet friendly hotel in Asheville.

Clean, average. Good if you need a larger than average sized room. But was not a suite. B grade breakfast. C grade room.

We stayed here to go to the Biltmore and I didn't think it was close enough. Also very little around here to do..

This hotel is close to just about all of the sites that we were interested in around the Ashville area and the mountains. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The only thing is the elevator is a bit slow.

Everything was good except the elevator is really slow causing people to use the stairs. Of course my room was right next to the stairwell. Heard nothing but slamming of the door from 6 am on.

This hotel is easy to get to by car from I-40 and I-26. It's clean, comfortable and quiet and the price is good so we always stay here on trips that take us through Ashville.

for such a large hotel why have such a small breakfast room. only 7 tables. each morning had to wait 30 to 45 minutes to get a seat. only had one slow elevator. clock in room did not work. beds were worn out--leaning to one side wanted to dump you on the floor.

I was pleased with the hotel except there weren't enough tables in the breafast room to accomodate the size of the hotel. There was a tour bus group staying at the hotel and there wouldn't be enough seating if everyone were early risers like us. Also, the bathroom is small. Booked this room for price and amenities including breakfast, fridge, microwave, and even pull-out sofa. Hotel was newer and nicer than expected and in much better location than we thought. Very easy to find and several restaurants close by.

The advantage of this hotel should be that it's right outside the Biltmore Square Mall. The problem is that the mall, although fairly new, nice and clean, is almost empty. Something like 80-90% of the stores are closed, which is depressing and inconvenient. The best nearby shopping choice is actually a K-Mart. If you want much better than that, you […] need to drive 20 minutes or so to the Asheville Mall. Normally, I don't care about shopping choices as relates to a hotel, but "Biltmore Mall" is in the name of this hotel. There are a couple of good casual restaurant choices within walking or short drive distance of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and quiet. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There is enough room for 2 adults and 3 kids. The room has two double beds and a pull-out sofa bed. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room, which is a great plus. This hotel is one to avoid. Overall it is not worth the money. Here are the list of issues we had: CONS: Breakfast area - WAY to small. The hotel was packed out, and they have 10 tables available for everyone. We were fighting a croud every morning trying to squeeze past people and waiting for any seating. Our family actually sat at different tables […] with strangers just to have a seat. Rooms - I expect a "suite" to be a large area, with two distinct rooms separated by a wall or bathroom or something. These were just large hotels rooms with a sleeper sofa stuck against a wall. But the extra room in the living area was gained by reducing the room in the bathroom. Okay for one or two people, but not a family for sure. Service - Our Air Conditioner in our room hade a LOUD racket all night. It kept us awake most of the night. We complained to the front desk and they said they would move us to another room (after MUCH discussion). After we returned from seeing the sights, not only had they not moved us to another room, the hotel was booked solid and there was "nothing I can do". They hadn't repaired the AC either. Absolutely nothing was done. Maintenance came up and stuck cardboard against the frame to quieten it down. Plus, no manager was available. No reduction in price Elevator - one elevator for entire hotel. It was broken about half of our stay. PROs: Breakfast - If you could get to the food, the selection was nice. Waffle maker, sausage, pastries and decent coffee. Swimming Pool - big enough with plenty of towels out for the kids to use. Fitness Room - two treadmills, a bicyle and a universal machine. We've stayed at Comfort Suites from time to time and have grown to expect clean rooms and a high standard of customer service. This hotel was no exception. The only problem I noticed was the hotel seemed cramped since it was very busy the time we were there. It only had one (slow) elevator (that eventually broke down)so you were better off using the […] stairs. The room was very nice but felt cramped with the sofa and two full size beds. The breakfast bar was very good but always crowded. The eating area was really too small to accomodate a fully occupied hotel. Often times, people were eating in the lobby/ business area or having to take food back to their rooms. Still the hotel was very clean with a friendly staff. Mehr

Not a lot of frills here, but very clean and well maintained. For the price we paid it was outstanding. If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced place, this works great. About 15 min from Biltmore.
