Sleep Inn Midway Airport Bedford Park - Chicago

The hotel is nice enough and conveniently located, although it's not near any of the Interstates. Lots of airplane noise but that's to be expected when you're a block from the runway. Most jet noise stops after 10:00. Parking is NOT free, breakfast is meh. If you are unlucky enough to get a room near the lobby you will want to request another room. […] If they don't have one, leave (There are several hotels in the complex). It was constantly noisy all night long with people talking, using the ice machine, and generally hanging out a few feet from our door. An earlier poster said the walls are paper thin, but they're not really that thick. People talking in the halway sound like they're standing next to your bed. The chatter from the staff at the front desk was constant all night long, and the all-night-long slams of nearby doors shook the entire room. None of us got more than 3 hours of sleep, and that's not even a continuous 3 hours. Just when I thought it was going to be quiet for a couple of minutes the staff decided to take their smoke break right outside our window, so now we had noise in stereo. I realize that our experience was largely due to our room location, so I cannot fault the hotel entirely, but this night went down as one of our top worst hotel nights ever. Only the 3 AM pimp/prostitute fight in the next room at a Days Inn in Cincy a few years ago tops this one. There are several hotels within a few yards of this one; I would suggest going to one of those first. Mehr

This hotel was clean, the people at the front desk were caring, and I had no problem whatsoever. I'm picky and worry about staying at hotels, but here I was able to relax about that because the place was impeccable. It's a great option for those who whose flight was cancelled and need to be near the airport.

This hotel is nice place to stay for business. Plenty of food establishments close to the hotel. Nice complimentary breakfast but, it does not open until 6:30-7am. Friendly and attentive hotel staff. There is a $15/day parking fee.

This hotel was close to the airport and everything you would expect in a 2 2/1 star hotel. The room was not comfortable or updated. It was the last place I wanted to spend any time. It was literally one of the last hotel rooms available but I wish I would have taken a taxi farther out to get better quality.

this is a very basic and decent hotel near the midway airport. It will take a good 30-40 minutes to get to downtown chicago from the hotel given the shuttle bus, trek from airport to orange line, and the orange line train ride. the room layout was very basic, but functional. there is no bathrooom door and the sink is part of the room itself. this wasn't […] an issue for me, though it could be for those sharing a room. you can easily hear doors closing and people speaking in the hallway though it shouldn't be a real issue unless you have bad luck with noisy neighbors. Fast free pick up from airport. Very nice and friendly staff. Great price. Needed hotel close to Chicago Midway airport for 1 night layover. Perfect!

We had a good experience there. Our pick-up and drop-off on their hotel shuttle service was perfect. I had called the hotel after we made the reservation with you to check on the shuttle/dining options. The desk staff was very helpful and courteous.

I didn't get much sleep. The walls are paper thin and between slamming doors and loud, drunken guests in the hallway it was hardly a restful stay. To top it off, after I had finally gotten to sleep, I was awoken by the sound of a drill: engineering was fixing something right outside my door at 3:30 a.m.!

Sleep Inn's staff is the best staff I have ever had the opportunity to meet. Everyone went out of their way to accomodate me and my guest. The hotel was very nice and convenient to the airport. Free shuttle service to the hotel was definitely a plus. The hotel was nice but a little pricey for the quality.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room we received was decent, and the continental breakfast was adequate. The waffles were a nice touch. The hotel was full of pleasant, nice people as well and there was no concern for safety. The free shuttle to the Airport/EL train was extremely convenient.

Hotel was convenient to the airport, and close to everything else. Room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Shuttle service was great, and quick to the airport!

I booked this hotel at the last minute when I cancelled my other hotel reservation thinking I wouldn't be making the trip, and the experience was very painless. The staff was very courteous, the airport shuttle was super convenient, and the room wasn't bad at ALL for the price. Me and my best friend felt very safe, comfy, and cozy. I stayed at this hotel 1 year ago and the whirlpool was broken then also. I question if it was ever fixed. Breakfast items were gone by 830am, so much for breakfast.

The restroom did not give much privacy.
