sehr schönes hotel, von außen jedoch nicht sehr ansehnlich. direkt an großen straßen, wir hatten zimmer jedoch nach innen, daher keine lärmbelästigung. sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet. mit dem auto gute anbindung und schnelles erreichen der downtown/ WEM.

Hotel ist "in die Jahre gekommen", Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum bald erreicht und teilweise überschritten. Zimmer sauber und Ausstattung bis auf teiweise abgewetzte Einrichtung gut. 2 Aufzüge, von denen manchmal einer, manchmal keiner funktionierte. Leider wurden auf den Fluren abgestellte Tabletts mit Geschirr und Essensresten nur alle 24 Stunden eingesammelt, […] war wohl keiner zuständig. Schwimmbad auf dem Stand der 60er Jahre, bei zulässiger Beladung mit 24 Personen müssen die meisten stehen, schwimmen geht sowieso nicht. Hört sich vielleicht nicht empfehlenswert an - die Zimmer waren aber sauber und ok - das zählt schließlich, oder? Und der Preis für zwei Nächte, davon Freitag frei war auch gut. Had a great stay

Desk staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Room itself was really big and nicely done except for the shower was very old and grimy looking.

Everything was great. Close to everything we needed, clean, comfortable and friendly staff.

We booked a room for a works function. Upon checking in, we were blown away with the room, it was a huge suite, I was quite disappointed we didn't have more time to spend in it! Everytime we have stayed at a Radisson hotel we have been extremely satisfied, and this was no exception. Would definately stay there again, and would not hesitate to recom […] mend. Mehr

We arrived at the hotel for an easter getaway weekend. Overall checking in / out was easy as can be. However, I was disappointed with the comfort / cleanliness of the room. The towles were stained, the bed was uncomfortable, and ther was a faint smell of cigarettes as if the room was previously smoked in. I will more than likely stay in the hotel […] again as it is a convient location. They did rectified the towels with new / clean ones; however, when the smoking issues was addressed we were flatly told that it was impossible. Mehr

We booked on line and prepaid for a room with two queen beds as we were travelling as a family. We arrived at 11pm and after getting to our room found that we had been given a king room with pullout couch. When I called the desk ti have it changed they informed me that since I checked in later than the other guests there were no more rooms with two […] queens. Apparently their booking does not guarantee a room type (we even prepaid to ensure we got two beds). Since we were stuck we accepted their offer of free breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. We know Edmonton and understand that the area the hotel is in is not the best however we thought that the hotel would do a better job of security. To our dismay they permitted an individual who was clearly not from the hotel and an obvious drug user to roam the lobby and restaurant areas. We even saw this person around the buffet and even touching the food. When we checked out over an hour later this person was still wandering around and none of the staff seemed too interested in escorting the person off the property. We asked to speak to the manager to complain and were told they were going to call the RCMP to have the person picked up. . Not sure why that took over two hours as security should be a priority. Lesson learned.. Stick with the facilities I know take this stuff seriously and honor room requests for late arrivals. Mehr

We had king sized bed in our room and it was great. Very spacious and clean. Hotel in very central location, not bad drive to anywhere. Enjoyed the bar and restaurant.

Overall for the price that we paid it was fine, friendly staff but as I said the hotel is dated, room was clean though.

busy street but a nice place to stay

Hotel is very nice and the rooms have been upgraded and are great. The work out room and pool are very nice. When I checked into my room there were room service trays located outside some of the rooms. In the morning when I left those same room service trays were outside the rooms. They should have been cleaned up. I definitely will stay there again […] as I enjoyed the rooms and the pool/hot tub. Mehr

Walking into a lobby most hotels have a nice standard setup. The thing that really matters though for an overnight stay is the quality of the room! Our room at the Radisson was nice and spacious, very clean and the furniture were modern and in good shape. The King bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning easy to adjust and the bathroom fully functional […] and hygienic. I was very happy with my choice! Mehr

Great hotel in terms of locaiton and friendliness. I had a wonderful stay here and would recommend staying here again. It is a pet friendly hotel which made this a conveninet choice for me as well.

nice room, quiet and comfortable. but the coffee maker is dirty.dialing to another guest room doesn't work.

The room was very nice, new, clean. The decorating was beautiful. About the only complaint was that the beds were a bit to soft for comfortable sleeping.

Great room and we had a very nice stay...

This hotel is not offering BF. The restaurants in the hotel is very expensive. I ordered two toasts and they charged me $4 (item not on the menu). Go for the buffet bf at least you get for your money. Location is great because it's not backing on the railway, unlike the Sawridge and Holiday Inn (Greenwood). No Shuttle to Airport. The sky shuttle charge […] $18 one-way. Overall, if you are staying for a couple days and only for business it's a good hotel. Mehr

The Edmonton South Radisson has changed owners in the past year and it sounds like they are planning to upgrade the entire hotel. The current condition is acceptable and rooms were clean. The fitness centre is above average, it is located in a spacious area and the cardio equipment was newer and in good shape. There is also a weight room, pool, steam […] room, squash courts, all well maintained. The hotel restaurant was disappointing, meals were costly and mediocre at best. Mehr

Enjoyed our stay. rooms are clean and comfortable. Only concern we had was being unable to park in the heated u/g parking because door height was only 5' 6" and too low for our SUV. Temperature was down to -24 C.

Nothing too fancy about this hotel, but I don't care about that anyway. I want a clean, comfortable hotel that is conveniently located and reasonably priced, and the Radisson South is just that. Free heated underground parking is a bonus. Wifi is free. Staff are courteous. We don't eat at the restaurant much as there are many good restaurants nearby. […] The lounge is great... nice and big with lots of TV's with sports on, and decent food. Rooms are nice, large flat screen TV's with hi def channels. If you are looking for something mega fancy and decadent, this is not it. If you are looking for a nice hotel, conveniently located at a good price, you will be happy here. Mehr

the location is best, but room is not clean and ventilation is suck, so noisy and very dry atmosphere

Our stay was awesome. The boys really have enjoyed our room and the facilities. We are extremelly happy with our choice.

Nearly everything was fine other than it took the longest time to get hot water in the morning. Also I was not impressed with all the cheap wines in the winelist in the restaurant, I had expected better!

We were dissapointed driving up to the hotel... the outside of it is not attractive at all! (Maybe they are doing renos? not sure.) But once inside it was beautiful and clean. LOVED our bedroom (standard)... the bed ("Sleep Number Bed") was so comfy, nice duvet and feather pillows, big TV, even a patio - but the view was NOT special. This hotel is at […] a busy intersection, we were on the top (4th) floor, but nothing nice to look at out the window. Noise did not bother us. Friendly desk staff. Close to restaurants and shopping and main streets going to city center. Mehr

This is one of many of my stays here,and as always,it was a great stay. The location is great,and easy access to major roadways to locations in Edmonton.The hotel has all amenities here,a bar,a nice restaurant,and a small convenience store as well,for the small things you may want. We stayed in the Jacuzzi room,and it was just super,with a nice size […] tub for two..just perfect! Had a great stay,and will continue to stay here in the future. Mehr

The next door couple were very loud and we never got any sleep. Other than that all was good.

Was a central location for the event we were attending. There was lots for the children to do there. Hotel staff were extremely pleasant and made us feel at home. Room was large, clean and with a balcony. We were a large group but individually made reservations, next time we will do a group reservation.

Spacious rooms excellent bathrooms would definitely stay there again for the price i paid.

Was a bit dissapointed but I was there during renovations so all things considered they probably did the best they could given the circumstances. Decent location and underground parking was nice.

Hotel was comfortable. Close to South Commons shopping. Bathtub drain was clogged and would not drain properly, but I would still stay there again for the price I paid. Nice lobby.

We really enjoyed our double queen room. Our family of four had lots of room for our luggage, our shopping loot and our two dogs. The room was very clean and the beds were luxurious. We will be staying here again on our future trips to Edmonton.

The hotel is well situated, the room and beds were comfortable, reception efficiency and service was good. The major problem we had was when we went in for breakfast. We were met by a hostile hostess named Vanessa. The chairs of a dark blue velvet fabric had dirt and stains on them. When we asked if they could be changed for the adjacent ones which […] were unoccupied and relatively cleaner, she scowled and loudly dragged and banged the chairs down as she finally moved them, saying that all the chairs were the same, in other words, equally dirty. I choose Radisson hotels as a general rule whenever I travel, and this was a big let-down. I would appreciate a response indicating what action you are going to take to remedy the situation. Mehr

This hotel is really run down from what it was 5 years ago, under a different name. Found hair on the pillows, had to request toilet paper and kleenex for the room, (cleaning staff left the room with 5 squares and on one kleenex). Also found cigarette burns on the duvets. Wasn't told till after check in, the roof was under repair, quite noisy even on […] the second floor from construction and barking dogs within the building. The staff was friendly and prompt, and offered upgrades for additional fees. The room was huge, and the price was excellent. I did not get a chance to try the fitness facilities. Parking was a little awkward with a larger vehicle, could not take advantage of the underground parking, and the parking available at night was around the hotel property, away […] from convenient doors. I only noticed the construction on the last morning I was there, and it was just a slight noise. Mehr

Our room was very clean. Hotel has a very convienent location. It was a wonderful experience at the Radisson. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were excellent! The hotel is slightly outdated but they are just beginning renovations so that should be improved in the near future. Recommend this hotel.

This hotel has the best gym I've seen in a hotel. Unfortunately, it's restricted to 18+, for some reason - so my kids couldn't come with me.
