This hotel is not within walking distance to anything,but if you are just staying here to travel,its great and the shuttle-service is prompt and friendly.

The hotel is pretty nice. There isn't anything really close to it. You have to drive a couple of miles to get to restaurants/gas stations. The biggest gripe I have with the hotel was the bartender in the lounge. I asked for a Midori sour and she looked at me like I was speaking Russian. Then, when I asked her to make me something a little sweet, she […] rolled her eyes. Now while she was making the drink, she spoke to another couple that was there and after she made it, she didn't even try to be friendly. I was not rude or anything, mind you. After I received my drink, another couple showed up and she smiled like an angel for them. My boyfriend and I were so irritated, we paid for the drink and left. Never again would I go there again. The hotel is clean and its a good price, but that bartender....no good. Mehr

Extremely poor service, front desk lady very impatient, non knoweledgeble about her job, very unfriendly.I computer to get your boarding pass for an early morning flight and that was not working too. Not children friendly. There was a fire that night had to stand out in the very cold weather without a jacket with 2 young children and they should have […] been nice to the very FEW guests who were staying, the restaurant chef was rude, and arrogant (i really did not leave any tip for hos service, he deserved nothing) On the whole a bad night. Had food and bar on site and set for airport travel, but rooms where dated drains where slow. Quiet but not all that easy to get in and out of

This hotel was not what you would expect from a Four Points by Sheraton. My first room appeared as though it had not been serviced. The bed had been sat one, the sheets were not tucked in. It appeared that someone had slept in the bed and the blankets had been folded to appear as though it had been made. There was soap scum in the soap dish and toilet […] paper in the toilet. I asked for and received another room. Both rooms were large in size, but had and old and dirty appearance. If you prefer an extra firm mattress then the beds would be good. The room air conditioner/heater was so loud that I had to turn it off to talk on the phone. The hallways were littered with little bits of trash. I overheard a conversation among staff members wearing suits. They commented that the fourth floor was in the process of renovation. If you must stay here, ask for a fourth floor room, maybe it will be better. Mehr

No hot water!

Location is right by highway so lots of noise all night. Found a dead cricket hanging out on the complimentary coffee and tea tray. Closet door was broken and wouldn't budge. Room was ok otherwise, not great, just ok. close to shopping and food in Robinson Twp. Wouldn't stay for more than a night.

Hotel was fine; location is at dead end of an industrial park - not so fine; was there for two days and had 8:00 am knocks on the door both days of the stay to ask if or what time I would be checking out - irritating and inconvenient

The Sheraton Four Points - Pittsburgh Airport was built before the current Pittsburgh airport was constructed, and all access to the airport was severed. The hotel is located in a business / office park that is not really convenient to anything.

Newer hotel and was nice. Not too close to anything though. The put $50 on my debit card and still have not returned it 3 days later. Otherwise a good place.

The main reason we stayed at this hotel was an early flight from Pit International airport, the hotel was not as close as I thought, little hard to find at night, the hotel itself was clean with no issues in the room

All was good with the service and the room. However, the customer service hotline for Sheraton and the front desk assured me that the shuttle service to the airport ran 24 hours a day on half an hour intervals. This was not the case. at 3:30AM when we went to get our shuttle, along with 2 other people, there was no shuttle or driver to take us to the […] airport. The front desk worker called a taxi and shortly after it arrived; still not too late for comfort. The taxi showed up at the airport and then requested payment. The hotel did not say that we would be paying for a taxi when a shuttle was supposed to be provided for us. It wasn't the money but know random strangers had to divide the cab fare and the hotel should have taken care of it; especially if they stated a shuttle would be provided; twice. Mehr

The hotel was great. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I did find the heating/cooling unit very noisy when it would kick on and the bathroom could use an exhaust fan. On the whole a very nice place with many ammenities

The location is in the middle of no-where and everything to do was 3 miles away. The room was fine. It was just a bad location. it was 3.5 miles to the airport, and this was my reason to stay.

This is a prime example of a once nice hotel, maybe in the 70's that has not been maintained. From the building needing painted to the stained carpet starting in the elevators and continuing to the rooms, it is a shame that it has not been updated. The bedspread had holes in it. I would not stay here again. The front desk help does not even look up […] when you enter the hotel. Competition is too great to have to deal with this type of discomfort. Mehr

Room was not what was reserved online. Front desk staff was slow in responding to requests. Additionally, it is not really near the airport....it is 11 miles up a road filled with businesses that is probably wonderful during the day light hours, but after dark, it was dangerously dark, winding, and slippery

Overall happy with the stay. Quiet and comfortable. I did, though, expect an updated and impeccable hotel being that it is the Four Points By Sheraton. Convenient to expressway and airport but secluded from the noise. 10-15 mins from all Pittsburgh sites.

We were given room with not fresh looking sheets. I had to go to collect the keys to another room and that turned not nice either. We ended the night in the original room. It was not pleasant and I do not wish anyone else to find itself in a similar situation.

Location is a little off the beaten path (at the end of an industrial park) but we had no problem finding it. Staff was nice. Room was very large. Air conditioner was very noisy however.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past, so I knew what I was getting. The hotel is 35 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh in a secluded office park which is desolate on weekends. This is a clean no frills hotel that offer a bargain room on weekends

The hotel is old, smelly, far from anything, nothing walking distance. Even from the airport, it is not so close. Staff were great, but the place is just not good. There are many better options close by.

The food at the hotel was EXCELLENT! This was definitely the BEST thing this hotel had to offer! It was a little difficult finding this hotel with my GPS as well as mapquest directions. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable.

I stayed two nights at this hotel. The first night someone was checked into the room I was in. He opened the door and startled me. I was in my night clothes. The next night, a man came to deliver room service I didn't order. He came twice. I continued to say no the order. There was no attempt to explain or apologize for the guest who came into my room. […] I was startled and no one took the time at the front desk to even call me back to explain. I had to call them to find out what happened. They said it was a computer glitch. I could not sleep that night. I will never go back. Mehr

Hard to follow the few signs there were to get to this hotel.

Hotel room and staff very good. Location is a little off the beaten trail. Not easy to find. Located in an Industrial Park.

comfortable, clean, but not easily accessible. Is located in a business park so there isn't much to do outside of sleep, but it meet our needs.

Hotel was very nice and staff friendly. It had a really nice restaurant/bar with good food and a very nice and reasonable breakfast buffet.

The price of the room was the most reasonable I have ever had.

Hotel over all was nice for the price, the only thing that bothered me was the distance it was from EVERYTHING! i guess if you want to get away and just stay for one night then to the airport you go its not too bad, and it is difficult to find, when you get off the highway dont miss your 3rd turn or itll take forever to figure it out.....

My wife and I were looking for a weekend of R&R no tooo far away from home. The price was good as well as the service and food. As with all of our Starwood experiences, we were not disappointed.

I booked my hotel earlier specifically saying I wanted a king size room and they charged my credit card immediately without delay. I was set in all accounts and everything was paid in full. Yet upon arrival they made three mistakes. First the did not have a clean king size room when i checked in and I had to settle for a two bed twin size for the first […] night. Second it took them literally two hours to get me my refrigerator and microwave which I also specifically asked for ahead of time. And lastly they charged my card a grand telling me it was for room service and other amenities, and that when I leave the hotel they will give me back the difference. Which in reaction to this shocking surprise (for I have been into many hotels including the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Orlando Florida and they are the first to do such a thing even though they told me all hotels does) gave me a headache dealing with my bank. So in conclusion my stay at this hotel was troublesome and highly disorganized on their part. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone and they will not have my business again. Mehr

Four Points Sheraton near Pittsburgh Airport is an excellent hotel for those that want a bargain hotel that has all the amenities. But, it ends there. First, the hotel is extremely difficult to find so you had better turn on your locator. There are a few signs along the road but they are hard to see. Secondly, the employees offer somewhat indifferent […] service in the bar and restaurant. The rooms are fine and a little bit bigger than the norm. Forget the breakfast buffet. I walked out of the buffet after discovering what looked like gellied scrambled eggs of a gray color that you have to scrape off the bottom of the serving container. The woman in the restaurant did not have anything to say except to ask if I wanted to see a menu. No one served me my drinks or whatever. However, again, if you want a bargain in the boondocks, this is the hotel for you. If it is offered at the normal going price, stay away. For the price, it is a good deal. Mehr
