lovely hotel and very clean would recommend it

The food in restaurant was delicious- very friendly bar staff- pregnant girl who was very chatty and helpful

The hotel is easily accessed, just off the Caw roundabout. It's not too far into town, and reasonably priced taxi journey or long-ish walk will get you there. This is a good out of town location with decent facilities. Rooms are clean and reasoanbly comfortable. Free wifi didn't work for me for some reason; also the room I was in was next to some loud […] air conditioning - though that was switched off at night. All in all a good choice if you're price conscious, want a good deal, and don't mind staying out of town a little. Mehr

Nice well priced hotel witha surprising good restaurant and bar, and about 20 minutes walk from the new Peace Bidge

The Waterfoot Hotel was very comfortable. I was surprised at check in that they required a hold on my credit card for a large amount. It was the first time in our travels that this was required. We had a car so it being located outside of town wasn't a problem. Even though we did not eat in the restuarant, it was a very nice and was very busy.

The hotel was lovely. The room was clean and everything was in order. The staff were very helpful. Defniintey would return for another stay.

i really enjoyed my stay in derry at the waterfoot hotel the staff were very helpful and gave us a very warm welcome

We have been to this hotel several time but this time round, we were very disappointed with the fact that there was such a huge noise volume - one night from a formal for college graduates and the following night from a wedding. Some of the bedrooms are directly over the entertainment area and this contributed hugely to the noise. I would definitely […] have second thoughts about staying there again at a weekend. It was disappointing. Since we are loyal customers, I thought we could have been asked if we wanted rooms away from this sort of thing as we have always made it known that we like the fact that the hotel is in such a peaceful location. The hotel sounded as if it would be only a short walk from downtown, but we quickly learned that it was unrealistic to expect to be able to walk anywhere from it. It is located near major roads which have no sidewalks-or footpaths, if you will-- but in a residential area, tucked away so that it is nicely secluded, but quite inconvenient if one wants […] to travel by bus or on foot. We had little choice but to call a cab to get anywhere. The silver lining was that our cab driver turned out to be a great travel guide, and he happily took us on a tour around Derry and dropped us off at a restaurant he recommended where we had one of the best dinners of our trip. I can not say enough in favour of this hotel! The staff from reception, through dining room to chamber maids, could not have done more to make my stay any better! The location is very handy to all ammenities in the area, taxis are plentyful, so you can be at train or bus station and city centre, very quickly. Nice hotel - inconvenient to Derry City (2 miles outside the town) which was the only down point.

We were guests staying there for a wedding. Can't complain, the room, food and the place itself was fine. However it is not in the city centre and so could be a disadvantage if you wanted to be centrally located.

The hotel is conveniently located just off the Caw roundabout and plenty of parking spaces available. It has a nice ultra modern designed restaurant, though we weren't able to try it during our stay (opted to dine around Derry's city center). The room we were assigned to had a nice comfortable double bed and was spacious and clean. However, the furnishings […] and the bathroom needs to be updated desperately. The only other suggestion we'd like to make is to do something about the doors so it does not slam loudly every time people enter/leave their rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Waterfoot hotel and visiting the beautiful walled city of Derry. My husband and I are looking forward to our next visit there. Mehr

Nice Hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are dated especially when compared to lobby / restaurant but the are clean and nothing really to complain about. Excellent location on the way our of Derry down the Coastal Road with ample parking.

This hotel is one of my favourite places to stay. Its always so relaxing here. Staff are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are very comfortable and beds are just heaven. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Derry.
