"Nice place, bad pillows"
Almost everything was great except the pillows. They were small and limp. We ate in the bar area and it was really good. Made better by the great girl behind the bar, Heidi I think her name was.

This has to be one of my best experiences with a hotel, the staff was extremely friendly the room was sparkling clean the breakfast was very good. They really excelled in making you feel right at home!

Every employee during our 5 day - 6 night stay was exceptionally professional, courteous, and kind. The facilities were clean and comfortable and well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised.
Pleasantly surprised. Had to say for three nights on business in Toms River. The staff was pleasant and courteous. The room was nicer than pictured on the web site. Clean, relatively well kept. Quiet both outside and out in the hallways. Would have no problem recommending this hotel to others.

"Only 1 complaint."
The heating and cooling system just wasn't cutting it. I went for New Years Eve and the room was too hot. Not unbearable but uncomfortable for me. You couldn't set the cooling for anything below 67. Which would be great but the room stayed in the low 70's and for me that's to hot to sleep in. Besides that I would go back. It was very clean. Staff was […] friendly and helpful. Rooms were big. "Nice Place"
The hotel was very nice, especially considering the price paid. The room was clean and in good condition. There was a party going on in one of the function rooms when I got there, which seems to show that the local people consider it a decent place. I couldn't hear any noise once I got into my room. "Needs Improvement"
A hotel has to decide if it wants to be a place of lodging or an entertainment hall. The problem with this hotel is that 3 parties were booked for the Friday night we stayed. The noise/loud music from the band echoed through the halls on the second floor until after midnight. Then there was the teen sports team who occupied my floor. The noise went […] on from the time we entered the room around 7:30 until after midnight and started again at 6 AM. Kids running up and down the halls and adults yelling at the top of their lungs for them to quiet down. An added problem on the night of the three parties was the parking. No special arrangements were made for hotel guests who were actually staying at the hotel. I ended up parking quite far from the front doors as I arrived well before these events ended. The desk attendant was nice enough to say that the manager has requested that we get a refund for the second night. Of course I had to call the desk 3 times to complain about noise, so they were well aware of the problem. Mehr
"Good deal for what we paid"
Overall, a good deal. I paided a lower rate then most of the other hotels in the region and was pleasantly suprised by the newness of the hotel, the cleanliness of the room, the helpfulness of the staff. It was even decorated for the holidays already and made me feel like I was staying at a $200 a night room. Bed were amazingly comfortable, perfect […] pillows and sheets were high thread count. Staff was very helpful with suggestions on finding some late night junk food on thanksgiving night. The only downside was breakfast. A hot breakfast isnt required, but if its offered - I would hope it would be up to miniumum standards. Things were not restocked, trash was overflowing and it general, there was clutter. But the waffle maker sure was fun! Overall, would definately stay there again. Will just go to a diner instead next time. Mehr
"good value for the money"
Staff was helpful. Our room was next to a bus outside door and they switched rooms for us with out any hassle. Breakfast was great. The pool looked wonderful. Everyone was friendly.

We were visiting friends and stayed 2 nights. Did not use any of the facilities. The room was comfortable and was a good size. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a nice selection of hot and cold items. The hotel is located behind a Burger King and is not very visible from the road. Security was good, needed key to enter room corridors.

The Quality Inn located in Toms river was perfect for me. Breakfast was the BEST part of my stay.

Everything in the room seemed damp. Perhaps the outside heat vs the air-conditioning was a factor.

We had no problem with the hotel. It was great. Everybody was wonderful there. When we go back to the beach we are staying there all the time. A great pool there to especially in the morning when nobody else is in the pool. The quality inn is a A+ definately.

We went in Aug 2009 for a Mon-Thurs stay with our 2 kids, ages 6 and 7. Hotel just renovated. Nice room with frig and safe. Clean, granite counter tops in bathroom. Great, nice pool in inner courtyard. Hotel set back from the hwy, so was quiet. Breakfast was included in the room price and was a hot buffet, awesome! My kids loved to waffle maker. Room was clean and what one would expect for the price... the inside hallways had a slightly musty odor as did the room but the lobby and breakfast area did not. The breakfast was quite good...fresh, hot and well stocked. Perfect for families with young children.

This was a great hotel for the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was terrific. They had a lot of food for a continental breakfast. The room was big, comfortable and clean. It was cleaned daily and smelled great when we came back from the beach at the end of the day.
