ein paar gehminuten vom zentrum entfernt, einige sportsbars in der umbegung, frühstück inklusive, teures parken (!), hotel jederzeit sehr weiter zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße die etwas erschreckend aussieht aber "harmlos" ist. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es einige Sportsbars. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral, von hier kann man den Freedom Trail ablaufen. Für entferntere Ziele gibt es in der Nähe eine U-Bahn. Hotel gut, sogar incl. warmen Frühstück. Zimmer sehr sauber.

The room no smoking but smell smoking was two cap of beer bottle seat on top heater unit, blue tower in baht room.!!!!!all this we waitting 1hour and half to get the room, it look same body was on this room before we get in.

We chose the Holiday Inn Express based on location and price. It's really only one street over from a nice section of Boston, but that's all it takes to go from a nice neighborhood to a crime-ridden one. We had to be very careful walking the last block to the hotel, and did not feel safe till we were inside the hotel. The hotel itself is TINY and is […] in serious need of renovations. It felt low-budget and unimpressive. The hallways are dark and narrow, and the ridiculously tiny elevator is a bumpy ride. Our room was clean, and had a beautiful large bathroom, but I would have liked to stay only in the bathroom. The room was very sparse and cheap-feeling. Our main lights didn't work, and a standing lamp and the furniture looked like something I'd find in a yard sale. I would not recommend this hotel if you're a mom vacationing with children -- which I was. Mehr

We were in town from Los Angeles to visit family for Easter week. We headed into Boston for the night to see a Bruins game at the Garden. The hotel was in a perfect spot directly across from The Garden and close to the T. When we checked in the friendly valet staff meet us in the front. They were very helpful with all of our stuff as we had 4 small […] kids with us. They told us if we forgot anything they would be happy to go grab the car for us so we could get it. The nice man that worked the front desk was very friendly and gave us directions to take the kids to dinner that night. He was kind enough to put our two rooms next to one another. We were only there for one night but it was a great spot and we would stay there again! Mehr

This Hotel was in a great location for someone who wants to explore Boston. TD Gardens and train station are right across the road, is within walkin distance to attractions like the aquarium and market, and close to an endless number of great resturants and bars. The only thing better than the location was the staff. Arriving in Boston a day earlier […] than planned the staff gave us a discounted rate on the additional room and convinently we did not have to change rooms between the different reservations. Unfortunately while on our trip to Boston and family member passed away. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating to us when we had to cancel the rest of our reservation. The staff contacted hotels.com and worked with them to get us a refund on the nights we would not be there. A huge Thank You to the great staff who made a difficult time a little easier! Mehr

Good. Only problem: the heater is very high and cannot be changed into a lower temperature.I felt like thousands of degrees.

We stayed here because we had an early train out of North Station the next morning, so it was mostly okay. But there was a Bruins game in the garden and this hotel is where (apparently) a lot of out of town fans stay. So it was a little bit noisy both in the hallway and outside. (We had the window open even though it was freezing out because the room […] was kind of hot.) The TV was unplugged when I got there and furniture had to be moved to fix that. But, the room was big, clean and comfortable (bathroom also very clean), the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was pretty ample and surprisingly good! If you stay here, find "little italy". It's a bit of a walk, but the food is amazing and you have your choice of good places which are a nice alternative to the many sports bars nearer the hotel... Overall, the staff at the hotel were excellent. A+ for customer service. The rate was not that bad though I wish the valet fee was disclosed during the reservation process. The valet fee was in addition to the charges for the room. Also, there is no parking in that area of Boston at all. Generally speaking, if you are staying there for an event at […] the Garden or for business and you don't require parking, then this is the hotel for you. However, I was would advise families with children under the age of 5 to stay else where if possible because of the parking issue. Also, the heat in the entire hotel was too hot. Was told by the staff that they are working on fixing it. However, I was impressed with the fact the owners of this Holiday Inn Express overhauled the hotel. This hotel exceeded my expectations. To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the low rate that we paid. It was clean, modern, the staff was polite, and the room was very comfortable. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to Boston Commons, which is a popular destination, and we were also able to walk everywhere else we wanted to go. We travelled to Boston specifically to see two Boston Bruins hockey games. The location of this hotel was ideal (right across the street from TD Gardens), the staff was friendly and very helpful and we were impressed by the continental breakfast that was included with our stay. I came in on Amtrak from Portland and arrived easily on foot at the Friend Street address despite a gimpy leg and using a cane. Needed to crash promptly because of early departure for the west coast from Logan.A minor glitch with my reservation was quickly resolved at the front desk at check in. Shuttle service was convenient, quick, courteous and competent. […] This Holiday Inn will be my preferred destination from now on when coming through Boston from the north or south, and by air or rail, in the future.. No much curb appeal, but decent once you're inside. The Spanish speaking maids outside our door were very LOUD in the mornings. I think they were having their own private Cinco De Mayo celebration ! We were dealing with a 3 hour time zone change, so wanted a little extra sleep. On a leisure trip with family. Dining & transportation was convenient. Breakfast was reasonable in both choice & quality. Hosue keeping rather inefficient though towels are still OK Biggest problem is the elevator, the only one that customers can use. We stayed at 5/Fl, the top floor. We had to climb up & down the stairs as the doors did not close. […] Concierge & front desk not aware till we fianlly walked all the way down to report this to him though the hotel was really small. Then we needed to climb up later the stairs later in the day as "Maintenance" sign was there. It's NO fun esp after a whole day of sightseeing :( The elevator was very squeaking & scarry afterwards!!! Mehr

very nice, no complaints. perfect for Bruins/Celtics game but walk distance to Faneuil Hall as well. Fitness center had dumbells but no bench--my only complaint.

Hotel was fine, staff was great-very overpriced for the conveniences. Guess you are paying for the location.

Walking distance to Northend, Faneuil Hall and T stations. While valet was a little pricey (for 2 cars as we booked 2 rooms) they were very helpful. Clean rooms, narrow halls - but it's Boston, didn't expect otherwise. Would book again.

This hotel was a good place for the money (less than most) and location. Be aware it is a hotel with less amenities than full service hotels, in an old building. We thought it delivered (it was clean with modern room) for the price in the neighborhood we wanted. Hotel staff were good to deal with; we had no problems or complaints.

Everything was perfect. Went to Boston to see a sada concert. We stayed at the Holiday Express. Everyone was great right down to the valet that gave us excellent directions to walk 5 minutes to the North end to have a great dinner in an Italian restaurant. Great Hotel, great service. Would recommend and will stay again. !

I was very dissatisfied with this particular Holiday Inn. The room was very gloomy, Carpet appeared dirty.But sheets and bathroom were clean. There was no chair in the room. It took approximately three tries before we received an iron that worked. Everytime you called the front desk, the line was busy. Breakfast was fine but toaster was broken. as soon as we checked in, we were fighting flies and spiders crawling all over the room. it turns out the cleaning ladies left the hallway window open on our floor, and the bugs were flying right in. when we noticed this, we closed the window right in front of the cleaning ladies, then went to complain at the front desk. we were offered another room, […] but at this point i was very angry, especially because when we went back up, the cleaning ladies had re opened the window. we immediately took all of our belongings out of our room, and i demanded a refund. we checked out almost as soon as we had checked in, so disappointing! Great location -- close to metro, across the street from Garden, walking distance to restaurants, bars and historic monuments. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Room layout was interesting and rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location right across the gardens, got to see the players come and go, clode to everything didnt have to drive anywhere, would stay again :) very friendly staff helpful over all a great place to stay

Our first stay in Boston was "average" due to unexpected extremes. On the down side, our room had electrical problems that were not corrected, tho we were told they were. No parking except very expensive valet 3-4 blocks away. 3 different valets seemed annoyed to bring the vehicle. Breakfast was only OK. Water pressure in shower varied, and TV had only […] 8 channel options. Desk clerks were not as friendly and outgoing as you would expect in the hospitality industry. On the very UP side, beds were new, frresh and clean. and very comfortable. Room was clean and tidy. The hotel's location for a new visitor to Boston was the Best! Management was understanding and very helpful dealing with the difficulties, and finding suitable solutions. Her attitude alone would make me stay there again! There is a daily fee to park, which we knew in advance. However, this was a business trip and those traveling did not physically have the credit card used for the reservation. I informed the hotel front desk staff, not the hotels.com staff, that the gentlemen coming would not have the credit card, and they told me that was not a problem. I asked how […] parking was to be paid and they told me the charges would be added to the room charges. What they did not tell me was that in order to add the parking charges to the room they had to physically have the card, or a completed authorization form. Some of the hotel staff, including a front desk manager, did not inform our company of these procedures for parking payment even though I informed them the guests would not have the credit card with them. Instead of providing the necessary form immediately upon check in and realization of the problem, some of the hotel staff and parking staff decided the "best" plan of action was to call the room 3 times in a row at MIDNIGHT. This was unprofessional, childish and rude. When I called the hotel to straighten out the confusion and file a complaint about the midnight harassment, the front desk manager I spoke with immediately got defensive and was also rude. Never before have I encountered more trouble trying to pay for known fees. At NO point was our company trying to avoid paying the parking charges. Some members of this hotel’s staff made our guys feel like criminals. Mehr

Great location! Clean hotel with friendly staff.

-too highly prices rooms -Two airconditionner units and a wall was my view outside. -no pressure on the shower head. -fairly clean and spacious. -Breakfast is in the lobby.

I thought the price was rather steep for the room.

Yolanada was a GREAT help! Airline had lost our luggage & we were in sore need of some rest..she took care of everything & upgraded our room..what a great help & relief!
