Best Western Plus City Centre/Centre-Ville - Québec

Das Hotel ist so gut gelegen, dass man bis in die Altstadt problemlos laufen kann, wenn man auch mal ein paar Schritte laufen kann. Sonst ist auch ein Nahverkehrsanbindung direkt vor dem Hotel. Prima ist der Autoparkservice,der allerdings noch mal ca. 20 $ pro Nacht ausmacht. Man gibt einfach den Schlüssel ab und braucht sich dann um nicht zu kümmern. […] Möchte man das Auto wieder ruft man an und das Auto steht in ca. 15 Min vor dem Hotel. Klasse! Mehr

Excellent staff very cooperative and helpful, not knowing French on our part did not cause us any hardship. We really enjoyed our stay there even though the weather was very harsh. Given another opportunity we will visit again.

although the hotel per se was fine, the location wa quite a distance from the old city, and the restuarant left something to be desired. Having never in my life sent anything back, I actually did send back a salad with ingredients other than what was specified in the menu. the seoncd one was not much better, but I did not send it back a second time. […] service was barely acceptable. The hotel's staff is exceptionally helpful, and the location is perfect -- not too touristy, but close enough to access Quebec's best features and assets. I would strongly recommend the Quebec Best Western!

great location to explore quebec. just a short walk up to the touristy attractions. only complaint is that the hotel restaurant serves terrible food for a high price. a "roasted vegetable sandwich" was a frozen roll with microwaved broccoli and peppers stuffed inside. Pasta was awful as well. if you just need a nice, clean and comfortable place to […] stay, this is your place. parking is a bit expensive but you just have to deal with it, esp. during the winter Mehr

Ther location was very convenient. The valet parking was prompt and not the hassle I expected. The pool was small but nice to have. There was a convenience store right across the street. I would stay here again.

This was a great hotel, wonderful staff, great value.. And they are pet friendly, which is why we chose them, as we were traveling with our lab.. The only bad thing I can say is, the pool is very cold... Couldn't take my son in it, as it was just far to cold

Its a shame that the hotel doesn't have a proper accessable and covered parking. My car was all covered with ice. The valet charge is expensive. Otherwise everything was really great. I trully appreciate the fact that we were allowed an early check in and the staff was very understanding and so helpfull. I will definately stay there again when I visit […] Quebec next time. The Hotel was very nice, the rooms were comfortable, the location was relatively close to downtown Quebec City, the only issue I have is that when I booked on Hotel.ca, it did not specify that there is an extra fee for parking and the parking is a Valet parking only.

The hotel was great and the staff was very helpful. It was clean and met with all of our needs. The buffet breakfast was nice as well. Please note that in Old Quebec the stores close at 5 pm on Saturdays so start early. Louise

Hotel is centrally located to shops, restaurants etc and is about a 15 minute walk to the the old city, which is a must when visiting Quebec City. Hotel staff is very accommodating and bi-lingual. Valet parking available for reasonable fee. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would choose this hotel for our next visit.

We stayed at the Best Western Downtown Quebec for one night one a week end. LOCATION:The hotel is not far from the old city but hard to climb up the hill for 20 min with heels on. Taxi is between $6 and $10 one way but there is also a bus stand right next to the hotel. ROOM: Room is quite large and confortable with a big comfy king size bed with top […] matress and a pull out sofa. Nice LCD Samsung HDTV with many channels. Our room was overlooking the restaurant in the Atrium. We could hear noise in the morning as breakfast was served. PARKING: Valet parking only for $20. Takes about 10 min to get your vehicle as they have to go and get it in a garage nearby. Free parking would be better as Quebec City is not that busy. Overall, we do recommand this hotel with great value for its price beside the valet parking. We will return. Mehr

Windows are so old that the metel frames banged together all night I finaly had to take toilet papper and jam it between the two layers to stop the noise then the sound of the wind whisiling started. Hotel is nice for the price. Hotel is badly hidden no views anywhere, also the restaurant is very expensive 14$ for a breakfast 80$ in total for four and […] thats with 2 kids! Pool is nice but you have to walk right in front of everyone in the lobby to go in! Bring a robe....and sandles..... I don't see how its rated 4 star. 2 and a half max.. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel on Sept. 19 and 20th. The hotel has an excellent location, bus stops to go in both directions are just a short walk away, the staff is very friendly and courteous. We would most definitely stay here if and when we visit Quebec again. Complimentary wi fi is an added bonus.

We have stayed here at two different occasions this year and were very please with the service. It is within walking distance to all of the points of interest. I have no problem telling everyone to consider staying here as the prices and service was excellent.

Very nice and modern rooms. Good service. A little bit of a hike to Old Quebec but not too bad. Good restaurants close by.

Overall it was a good experience. Staff with nice. We felt safe walking around late at night. Didn't have a chance to see the pool. Bathroom was nice.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were excellent. Our room was pristine, and apart from the normal deficiencies of insufficient light and too few electrical outlets, it was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The big problem, however, is that the only parking available is valet parking, which added significantly to the cost of the hotel and […] detracted very much from its convenience. This was a great place to stay for our first time in Quebec. Really great for family's. Easy to walk to restaurants. Staff was very friendly and spoke English which was a good thing for us.

Great price awesome beds and rooms. Hotel restaurant a bit pricey but had a very good breakfast buffet.

The hotel itself was fine. We ate at the hotel restaurant and while the first time the food was okay, on the second occasion it was terrible. I would stay at the hotel again but would go elsewhere for any meals including breakfast.

Amazing stay. Very close to Old Quebec City. Very Pet friendly area with parks close to the hotel. They were very accomodating of our Yorkie Rocky and even gave him a welcome bag with snacks and pick up bags. Great service and very very friendly. Recommended to all!

This hotel is in a great location- walking distance to everything and the kids loved the indoor pool. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Nice big room, newly renovated, but we had an interior room so there was a fair bit of noise from the restaurant in the courtyard. Nice walk to Vieux Quebec, but easy bus trip as well (for rainy days or when your feet are too sore from all the walking around the old town). Hotel staff were helpful with directions etc.

Arrived in bus from Montreal, in Gare du Palais. It was a simple 10-minute walk to the hotel. Hotel is right in the middle of downtown. Restaurants, 24-hour convenience stores, pharmacy, etc. Hotel lobby is gorgeous! Personnel was very helpful on check-in (and in English!). Pool and gym are looks Roman-themed. The room was very clean as was very comfortable; […] with view to the main avenue. Everyday I bothered front desk asking them to schedule tours for me and with my maps, asking how to get to different places in car, walking, and by bus; and they were very attentive and helpful every time. I simply wish there are many hotels like this one on my future!!! Mehr

Well located, rooms are not ready at checking in. We had to wait until 5:00 PM for our room.

We spent 2 nights at Best Western City Centre and it was excellent: nice and quite spacious rooms, hotel is clean, well located, staff friendly and helpful, wifi connection in rooms. Overall very good hotel, good rates also. We were travelling with our 2 kids, they enjoyed the pool.
