Das Familienzimmer war sehr gut, groß genug für 4 Personen. Das Hallenbad ist zwar klein, aber für die Kinder eine tolle Abwechslung nach einem Kultur Tag. Eltern können in der Sauna und im Dampfbad entspannen. Sehr zentrale Lage, man kann alles zu Fuß machen. Spitzenmäßiges Frühstücksbuffet!! Ist auf jeden Fall den Preis wert.

Schönes, sauberes Hotel, hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet (!), freundliche Mitarbeiter - ein gelungener Aufenthalt in München. Besonders schön sind die großzügigen Suiten, so dass wir (2 Erw. und 3 Kinder) ausreichend Platz hatten und dennoch zusammen waren. Nicht ganz günstig, ich denke aber, dass ist das Münchner Niveau.

Der Aufenthalt war zufriedenstellend.Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut,leider kein kostenloser Hotelparkplatz ( 10€ ).Personal sehr nett und freundlich.

central train station location makes easy access, but is not in the 'central' most touristic area. bit of red-light shops in area more a 3 star than a 4-star. That said, clean, comfortable bed, recessed from the street by an internal courtyard (good), chain of hotels (stable quality). "Convenient for station and shopping"
This is a comfortable hotel just two minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the main shopping area. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and pleasant. Good hotel but no free wifi better to find deal including beeakfest continental breakfest 9 € full free,breakfest 22 € thecheaper is enough
"Maritim Munich - overpriced dive"
Rooms were old and the hotel lacked modern amenities like wifi. Continental breakfast was ridiculously overpriced, which seems to be the theme at the hotel. There are better hotels for less money, do yourself a favor and stay at one of them.

Good location close to train station and Airport bus stop. Very nice, helpful staff. Buffet breakfast is very good, but expensive.

"Maritim Hotel in Munich - value for money"
I stayed only one night. For families with children I would concern about all sex clubs and sex shops in the neighbourhood. 4 min. walk from the Central Railway Station was great. The lobby area was like in most international hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My single room had a big bed with room enough for 2 persons. May be it was a […] double room. Everything was nice and clean. No disturbing noises from the rooms next door or from the corridor. Walking distance to Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest area), pedestrian street and Marienplatz.. I did not visit the restaurant or the bar, but my overall impression of the hotel is very good. Guests will really get value for money. Mehr
"Very Nice Central Place to Stay"
I travel to Munich about twice per year for business and often stay at the Maritim because it is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and its location is just 200 meters away from the in-town subway (U-Bahn and S-Bahn) and the long distance trains to major cities. The area near the hotel has a few adult shops, but it not a dangerous area in any […] sense of the word. I have never felt uncomfortable about walking around the area at night alone. Plenty of food places are nearby and you can either walk or ride the subway two stops to Marienplatz, the city's central square. I would recommend the Maritm to anyone looking for a quality mid-level hotel that is priced competitively for the central Munich area. Mehr

"A Perfectly Fine Choice"
The hotel was clean and well staffed. The staff were tremendously friendly and helpful and all seemed to speak English. While the setting of the hotel is neither romantic or atmospheric, it is well run and centrally located. From Goethestrasse it is possible to walk to all of the major museums and other sites of interest. Stayed in the Maritim hotel for three nights. Location is really good - situated across the road from the hautbahnhof so easy access to/from the airport/main train station. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as had heard this was expensive. There wasn't a lot to offer in terms of food (other than Burger King or kebab shops) in the area, but there is […] food stations in the train station and Marienplatz is 2 stops away on the underground which has a variety of options. "Maritim Hotel excellent location in Munich!"
From the time we checked in to our departure the staff at the Maritim were both friendly and efficient. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the service in the Bar was very slow despite only a few people being there. The breakfast was a expensive for what you got.

"Oktoberfest"
Hotel had a great location. Was only a 10min walk to the beer tents. Close to all other attractions Munich has to offer

I can't say enough positive about the Maritim Hotel, Munchen. The only negative with our stay was that because of train issues we were a day late arriving and when we did, we went to the breakfast room to hav brunch, and just missed it by about two minutes. Unfortunate, as it looked very good, however there are lots of other places in the general area […] a short stroll away. Being so close to the Central Train Station is really a bonus. Mehr

"Nothing Special"
Nothing special... Wouldn't pay that much to stay there again. I got stopped by a hotel person when trying to get back to my room in the evening and was asked to show my key card, give my name and room number.

"Very comfortable beds"
Slept like a baby...they were pouring free Lowenbrau in the lobby...breakfast was plentiful...and staff was very helpful. Price was steep but that's what you'll get during Oktoberfest because the grounds were very close.

Location was excellent. Within walking distance to Oktoberfest and the marienplatz square. Very near the train station which was nice because I had a 6am train to catch. However, my a/c did not work. I advised the hotel and was gone the entire day only to return to find it still had not been fixed. I had to sleep with the window open which was terrible […] because my room faced a street with a Hostel. The Hostel was loud and I was awakened each morning by street sweepers and garbage trucks. This hotel is virtually next to the main train station and is within easy reach of the main sites.The rooms are clean and comfortable.The staff are helpful and polite.The facilities within the hotel are o.k-the swimming pool is smaller than it looks in the pictureand the gym is very small.Yet it all works and thats what matters.It is however more of […] a 3 star hotel than 4-there is not that luxurious feel to it.Still a very comfortable place to stay at a reaonable price. "Great value, nice hotel."
The hotel was very nice, with a nice lounge in the lobby area. The rooms were clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable. The fitness room had nice equipment (Life Fitness) but both pieces needed some service. The worked, but were loud. The hotel is near the central train station, which is convenient but not quite in the middle of things (Marienplatz). […] The surrounding area is decent but certainly not high end. The hotel is offset a block from a main street, so it is quiet and more private. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay. Now that we know Munich a little better, we may choose to stay next time closer to the center of town, but for the money we could do a lot worse than Maritim. Mehr
