staff and hotel are great. rooms really small.

We drove down from Killeen, TX to check out the Riverwalk and Sea World. Hotel is located on the west side of San Antonio but easy access to highway. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. He even printed off directions to the Riverwalk from Google maps. Affordable, clean and safe. Highly recommend for the value minded traver.

When I checked in I had to wait for the front desk to answer all of her phone calls (it was atleast a 5 min wait). The bathroom is so very tiny. The bed can't be a true queen size. The sheets did not fit. Breakfast looked great but they ran out of everything! The staff was not the polite or nice about it. The hotel overall was very nice..the rooms were neat & tidy. I loved the showers. Breakfast was yummy!! I definitely will recommend to family & friends. Thanks for the awesome stay!!

I was very satisfied for one day, but the second day was not good, they did not clean our room, or get any towels, until I talk to the manager.I feel like me and my family were let off.next morning before checking out, we were going to have breakfast, but no eggs until 8:30 am, the morning manager very nice guy, he was running around trying to do e […] verything. A very nice, older hotel, but the room was very small...probably OK for one, but the two of us were tripping over each other. The bathrooms are weird, more like a shower barn, with only a shower that sprayed everywhere.

An average hotel that needs better bed mattresses. But it does come at a below average rate.

If you r looking for a cheap place to stay a couple of nights, that would be perfect. There was a few issues, 1. The address of the hotel was not recognized by the GPS system, we have to call the hotel and ask for direction. I explained this to the staff they gave me a new address to use, again the using new address next day to get back to the hotel […] the GPS took us somewhere different. The next day a different staff member gave as another different answer, this one was recognized by the GPS and we got to the hotel after cerebrating the new year eve in downtown san antonio. 2. Breakfast was not as good as the reviews by other people there was much not variety, everyday the same thing. 3. The blanket was old and it looks like it should be replaced, the bed makes noes when you roll around. the towels were rough, they r over used and the toilet paper was again rough. Generally, other than the few things I mentioned above it is not a bad place if you r on a tight budget and not looking for fancy hotel rooms for the price you pay. Mehr

I did not have good experience i this place,place dirty,as soon I got my room I had to be change,the bath room sink was stopped up,the responce was quick,but they need to take care of the room and walls,too dirty. Thanks,

Liked the location and how clean the room was.... decent hot breakfast... would stay there again. The only thing that I hated was the crappy heater!

Good breakfast, clean room, plenty of parking, big shower cubicle, easy access from the highway but rooms are not facing the highway.

Traveling for business I needed something close and secure. I think you get a great deal for your money. The hotel is nice and the staff when I checked in and out were friendly. The breakfast was good and warm. I would stay there again.

Front desk person was very friendly, hotel was pretty decent for being a 2 star. The surrounding area felt safe and there was ample parking when I stayed. As for the bad, the sheets had a brown stain on them near the headboard, and the shower head didn't work properly.

Most definitely staying here again! Only time I wasn't at ease was when wife and I were in bed and someone walked in and we were still sleeping. Not very nice not to knock but other than that it was nice clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Thanks!

hotels is in between 2 Zip codes 78230 and 78229 so its took a little while to reach there, Staff is friendly and breakfast was fine, worth it for the money.

The hotel enviornment was clean. Breakfast a plus and added money in pocket with this economy. All staff were professional and helpful.

The hotel wasn't extremely close to sea world but it was close enough. For the price we payed the hotel was good, they had a pool, which the kids loved and the breakfast as well. The breakfast was crazy, people bumping one another and the staff running around to keep everything full. The only thing I did not like was the staff couldn't keep up with […] the towel service, I was constantly asking for more towels, and the floor was extremely slippery from everyone getting out of the pool and walking to their room. All in all, the hotel was clean, but room and bathroom was very small. Mehr

it was an ok stay. the beds were full size beds and not queens like what they had reserved for us. the floor above us sqeeked alot from people walking around up there. we couldn't check in at three like we were told, had to wait till four. the lite switch going into the room didn't work. but the stay was good we were never really there unless we were […] sleeping. Location was great, price was fair and the room was comfortable. Not perfect though, the a/c unit leaked some condensation and wet the carpet as you came in the room had a damp smell to it. Nothing feebreez didn't fix. They had very friendly service... Overall, I would give it a 3.5 out 5.

It had great continental breakfast and clean rooms. The place did have this musty smell. Ugh! Other than that everything was okay.

While the room was a little smaller than I liked, it had the fridge and microwave which of course took up space but worked great. Our tv would just shut off every 20 minutes. Called the front desk at 9 pm on a Fri night--maintenance had gone home, but he was there about 9:45. His repair job didn't work, so next morning he changed out tv. Very polite […] guy. Only complaint is the free breakfast--crowded, laid out poorly (all the plates are next to the waffle irons, meaning you have to cut through the line to get a plate, some eggs, gravy, and biscuits because it's all blocked by the waffle iron lines.) Go to McDs, Whataburger, etc the breakfast is not worth the hassle. Mehr

Good hotel to stay at.. bed a little hard but overall a great place to stay when in san antonio..

This hotel was very close to both seaworld and the alamo which were the areas we were going to. The staff gave us maps with detailed direction to our destinations very helpful. The room was quiet clean and comfortable not out dated.

Overall, the hotel was very good... The staff was very helpful and nice. The hotel was clean and welcoming. My only complaint would be that the bed was not very comfortable. Both nights we slept over, we woke with backaches. I think the beds may need to be replaced as they were not comfortable at all. Aside from that our rooms were clean and inviti […] ng. Mehr

Very very nice room for the price. Only thing that bothered me was finding a previous guests left over soap bottle in the top of the shower stall.

Overall, the stay was okay for the price that I paid. The room seemed clean, though there was a hair in the shower, and the towels were very rough. I travel a lot and normally stay in the big chain hotels, and so I'm trying not to compare. The breakfast was great. We expected cereal, toast, bagels, etc., but were surprised with the above mentioned plus […] sausage, biscuits, eggs and waffles. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. Mehr

Nice and Clean hotel with friendly and courteous staff. The Hotel is located adjacent a hiway resulting in numming noise through out the night. Recommend for short stay only.

The Good - prompt checkin, great continental breakfast, hotel layout was nice, not too loud. The Bad - the showers in this place are like you're in a port-a-potty. Its a small shower enclosure and the water pressure wasn't the best. There was a hair in the shower, before I took one. The lighting is not the greatest for dressing/makeup, ect. Our bed […] sheets felt stiff. Overall, if you're just staying 1 night and you're not too picky, this place will be fine. If I were to be staying more than 1 night (with more time spent in room) definitely would have gone somewhere, because it isn't comfortable for room lounging. Mehr

This isn't the first time I stayed there. It wasn't as nice as the other times, but I can count on it being a reliable clean safe place to spend the night. Breakfast includes cereal, pastries, fruit, make-your-own-waffles, biscuits & gravy, juice, milk, and coffee. There are other cheaper hotels in the area, but its quality is something I can count […] on. I recommend it. Mehr
