Comfort Inn - Madison

I stayed here one night to catch a morning flight and found the location to be quite convenient, but a bit loud. The hotel is only a couple of miles from the airport, but the sound from the freeway seems to come right through the windows. There is a Citgo station right next door, which made refueling the rental car very convenient. The staff is nice […] and the hotel is clean, so overall, I can't complain. Mehr

Clean hotel...Price was right. Breakfast had good variety and is open til 10am every day. Pool and whirlpool were nice too. Checkout time is noon which is also helpful if you like to sleep in a bit. Overall, a very good experience

Our only complaint was that the heating/cooling unit in Room 507 was not working properly. It was too warm and stuffy and no matter what the setting, it didn't change.

We were highly impressed with the hotel. It was very clean and fresh. The staff was so friendly. Fresh baked cookies on the checkin counter. And the breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was nice second time stayed there last time was in '06 for cousin's wedding. This time was for fun but I thought the King size bed was hard didn't sleep much kept rolling over every few hours cuz back was sore.

Very friendly staff. Gentlemen gave me a ride to Camp Randall to pick up my car!

Recently stayed at the Comfort Inn on Washington near the airport at Madison, WI. While it was not the best hotel bed I'd ever slept in, everything else was quite comfortable. Quiet in the building and conveniently located. Shower/bath while dated, was very clean and I found the staff to be very friendly.

The hotel was very easy to find and looks fine from the outside. The front staff was friendly. However, when I got to my room the room was visably SMOKEY! It smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I went down to the desk and they changed my room with no problem. I don't think it should have happened in the first place, but they were good about changing […] my room. The remainder of the stay was fine. We had a conference there and the accomodations for that were very nice. Mehr

Breakfast was really good. Somebody had been smoking in the room before we got there, so we opened up the windows and it seemed to do the trick. The smell is the main reason for any of the lower ratings.

The lobby area was extremely warm. The lady taking care of the breakfast foods was not a ball of fire. There were moe things empty and it was too hot to even sit and relax while having breakfast. The woman that checked us in was dressed quite casual and wore no name tag. The woman that checked us out was dressed nicely and wore a name tag but seemed […] to be put out when I turned in our key to check out. It wasn't like there were a lot of people checking out and it didn't take much time to look through the papers to find mine. Mehr

We liked this hotel especially since it was exactly where we wanted to be, near restaurants that the freeway. Probably the only thing we can say that we didn't enjoy was that the pool area was cold and the water temp was very cold. We also received a pack and play for the baby without linens.

I stopped in Madison for a business trip on the way to Eau Claire which was three hours West. I enjoyed the area and restaurants so much, I stopped back at the Comfort Inn on the way back. I would reccomend a stay here to anyone.

The room was far better than the one we had reserved just days earlier in Illinois so we were very pleased. Great hospitality and a fantastic breakfast in the morning added to our pleasing stay.

The price was affordable. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It took a while for the A/C to cool the room down. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were allowed to check in early because we called a day in advance.

This was a great place to stay overnight while traveling. Great pool, well-kept rooms, super beds, very quiet, and the breakfast was much better than the pricier hotel at our final destination. We will stay here again whether passing through or staying a while.

I needed a cheap, clean hotel to break up a long drive. This place is easy to find, and close to the highway. However, it is kind of old and dingy, even for the relatively low price you pay. Shower is not designed for people 6' or taller and the continental breakfast is pretty sparse. We were first placed in a smoking room, and when we requested a non-smoking […] room we were told that no king beds were available (despite that I thought I had reserved a king non-smoking online...) Settling for 2 double beds instead was fine. Overall our stay was ok for 1 night, but I think you can do better in the Madison area (especially for an extended stay). Overall it was an OK place to stay. Was disappointed in the pool. There was hair and other things floating on top of the water. Did not smell like any clorine was used in the pool. The bottom and sides looked very dirty. We look forward to swimming and it did not happen here. The rooms were very nice and clean.

Stayed an entire week for business. I had to fax some company papers and they wanted to charge me a large amount just to fax them. All other hotels I have stayed at never charged me to fax anything. Very disappointed for the amount I paid to stay and they couldn't help me out.

Going thriugh some renovations but our room was very clean and quiet. Great place for the price.
