direkt neben dem Bahnhof (und neben Steigenberger und Intercity Hotels), sehr ansprechend modernisiert, gutes Frühstücksbüffet inklusive Gratis-Kaffeespezialität, Empfang sehr freundlich, Kellnerinnen im Frühstücksraum spürbar unter Druck aber sehr höflich.

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht dort, aber dieses in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hauptbahnhos liegende Hotel, kann vorbehaltlos weiter empfohlen werden. Die Zimmer sind zum großen Tel neu renoviert, hell und freundlich. Unser Badezimmer war ein Traum, großzügig angelegt, viel Platz, ausgetattet mit sehr modernen Armaturen. Ein Teil des Etagen wird noch renoviert. […] Die Arbeiten haben haben uns aber nicht beeinträchtigt, da wir sowieso nur nachts dort waren. Das Personal am Empfang war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstückbüfett war guter Durchschnitt. Neben dem Süßen war die Wurst- und Käseauswahl in Ordnung. Wer auf Schinken und Rührei verzichten kann, findet hier mindestens so viel, wie er auch zu Hause im Kühlschrank hat. Eine äußerst aufmerksame und freundliche junge Dame versucht, jedem Gast die Wünsche von den Augen abzulesen. Die Frühstücksatmosphäre war sehr gut. Wer kann, sollte denn Frühbucherrabatt in Anspruch nehmen. Alles in Allem läßt sich festhalten, dass in diesem Hotel das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mehr als in Ordnung waren. Mehr

Das Hotel ist wirklich zentral gelegen. Zimmer war für den Preis ein Hamsterkäfig... Alter, kleiner Fernseher, der auf dem Kleiderschrank stand, Bett zu klein, Matratze zu weich. Schöne Genickstarre.... Fernbedienung nicht komplett funktionsfähig. Frühstück, fast perfekt, reichliche Auswahl, netter Service, leider kein Rührei... Also insgesamt 3-4

Sehr angenehmes, sauberes und gutgelegenes Hotel. Ideale Bleibe für Geschäftsreise. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, kompetent und freundlich. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Hotel newly and tastefully refurbished in IKEA plus style. Rooms small but adequate; comfortable. Staff very helpful. The price is right. Nice breakfast. Location is greatest strength and weakness. Stylish and clean hotel located by the central station. easy access to the airport as well. Hotel staffs are all friendly and very good value for money I thought.

all the things in the room are ok but the bed is too soft...

Very clean & comfortable (small) room with twin beds. We arrived about 6.30 am and left our cases in hotel whilst we did a bit of exploring until our room was ready as promised at 11am. This hotel is about a minutes walk from the train station but quiet. Good basic breakfast choices; wi fi only free in lobby.

The hotel is a 'good' value. Reasonable priced, small rooms, a meager breakfast, but located next to the Hauptbahnhof. A convient place to stay if beginning a train trip or preparing to depart by plane. (The airport is a short 12 mins. away by train.)

we booked this hotel without knowing much about it. It is right across the street from the centeral station, where you can take the subway or trains. Breakfast was best we had on a one month vacation. The room was large and i was pleasently surprised on how modern the room was. Despite some negative reviews this hotel is exactly as I had imagined. Position : Perfect. Cleanliness : Excellent, newly and totally refurbished. Staff : Kind ,courteous and helpful. Free Breakfast. Good. Room : Yes it is small but as a single occupant one doesn't need any more unless one is especially large. With respect to some previous comments […] by guests I find in life that there will always be people who go out of their way to complain and that nothing will satisfy them. The hotel is conveniently located at the side the Hauptbahnhof station & facing the police station. Surprisingly its not noisy. Thus this street feels much safer than those across facing the front of the Hauptbahnhof. Sure we will still come across drunkards early in the morning walking pass the hotel. But the police patrol certainly helps. This hotel […] seems new, well furnished, clean and the server during breakfast was very attentive! The manager (a blonde lady) was also very helpful with suggesting sights etc. Only the lift is super small. And when someone on the next room opens their door u can hear it. Everything was really very good - location, standard of the room and service, friendliness of the staff - except for the street noise. But I would stay here again.

We stayed ten days this time, the rooms are smaller then what we are used to in North America, but sufficient to feel comfortable. The room we stayed in was newly renovated and we understand they are in the finishing stage with the balance of the rooms. The neighbourhood is in close proximity to the exhibition grounds and conveniently located to the […] train station, street cars and the underground system. This hotel is not a family hotel since it is located close to the red light district. The breakfast which is included in the room price is absolutely first class with a large selection and the hotel has won international recognition for it. some moron had half ripped the closet door off and was hanging part way off, the bathroom had only one of four lights working, when I reported to front desk there was linguistic confusion but she came up and saw problems and they were fixed right now, maid had a strip torn off her for not reporting it. breakfast wasn't over the top fabulous as others […] had reported but it was a reasonable cold buffet. no in room coffee or tea, or kettle. When you arrive at the Frankfurt train station and take the right side exit (trains to your back), crossing the street, and a very short walk down to your left, is the Hamburger Hof Hotel. We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Hamburger Hof. Very close to the Hbf and within easy walking distance of downtown and Altstadt sights. The room was small but clean and stylish, and the bathroom facilities were nice. The breakfast spread was one of the best we had in Germany. Good location for access to the rail station. There were a couple of dogey streets in the vicinity but they easily identified and avoidable. The hotel is in the process of renovation and unfortunately workman started arriving at around 7:00am each morning, so sleep beyond this time was very difficult. The hotel was better than I had expected for the price. The lobby and rooms are in very good shape and relatively modern. Breakfast was pretty good. The location is quite good as it is a 2-3 minute walk to the train station. I took the train to Frankfurt then flew out the next day, and the location was great for that. It is also close to subways, the […] S-Bahn, and several tram lines. Many rooms face the sun, which made them hot in the afternoon, and the air conditioning was only marginal. Close to the Frankfurt station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, if a bit dated. No AC. Surrounding neighborhood could get a bit noisy at night.

This hotel has been extensively remodeled. the singe rooms are very small, but not the smallest I've seen in Europe. Bathroom size is generous. The design of the rooms, while simple, is kind of classy. Breakfast was good, internet cost (extra) was reasonable, but very slow. Very convenient to the central train station.

This hotel has a great location because it is right next to the hbf. They have a friendly staff, and serve breakfast. They offer wireless in the rooms for a fee, or you can go connect a cord in the lobby for free. The hotel is right by the main train station, within walking distance of most of the downtown sights. There is a Hop on, Hop off sight seeing bus that has a stop near by. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. There was good heat in the room. I would have preferred to have some access to English television (other […] than CNN) but that was a small thing. I noticed there was no air conditioning so am not sure how satisfactory that would be in the summer. I would absolutely stay again. Mehr

Good location, good breakfast, the only negative is that the desktop internet computer at the lobby is way too slow.

I had a great experience staying at the Hamburger Hof Hotel. The instructions on the website about the location were very useful considering I do not speak German. Once getting off the train and leaving the station the hotel is just to the left - about a 5 minute walk. The reception staff were very welcoming and recomnended restaurants in the area […] for dinner as the hotel does not have room service or a restaurant for dinner. The buffet breakfast is very typical European - but fresh and tasty. The room was small, also to be expected but very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and I didn't experience any of the noise or temperature issues identified in other reviews, this may have been because I was there in winter and didn't need to open the window. Nice clean room, although small, close to Hauptbahnhof and convenient to shopping. Reasonably priced.

Breakfast was wonderful. It had everything on it you could want for breakfast. I would stay here again.

The hotel is really handy for the train station and even the airport, only 3.80 each way by train. Also handy for the town centre. Check in and out very quick. We got no sleep as the room was far too warm even with the window open. They really need air conditioning or at least a fan during the summer months.

Very clean and nice hotel. Good location, close to restaurants. Parking was easy. Staff very nice & helpful. Lovely breakfast! Room was a bit hot though as no aircon.

This is no luxury hotel, but it is very functional and in a good location when travelling by train or heading over to the nearby convention center. The staff was friendly, breakfast (continental) was served with fresh cold cuts, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts, breads and buns. It fit my needs for my time in Frankfurt.
