Comfort Inn Ocean Side - Deerfield Beach

The hotel was very comfortable and in a great location. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding!

As an airline crew I have stayed at many hotels. This by far is one of the nastiest hotel I have ever seen. The carpet is un-acceptably dirty. The bedsheets are stained with bodily fluids. The place is a total dump. You better off at other hotels.

Hotel needs a lot of renovation. It is kept clean but definitely not up to standards for area. The 'Ocean Side' reference in the name is deceiving as the hotel is a block from the ocean. Would not stay here again. Too many other choices in the area.

The hotel was a great deal in the Deerfield beach area. I would highly recommend it if you plan on going to the beach everyday since the traffic on a1a is ridiculous. Could use some updates but overall not too bad.

This is definitely an older hotel and because it's located on A1A you ahve to ay an extra $10 a day for parking, The front desk staff was great and if you're looking for a cheap hotel in a usually expensive neighborhood, you've found it.

I was in town for a funral. The staff was very nice went out there way for my comort. I would stay again with no questions.

I took my kids there and they had a blast at the pool. The location is close to the beach and the pier. My only complaint is that it was charged an additional $35 once I arrived for parking. After looking around I found 2-3 other hotels for the same price that were better and didn't charge for parking. Other than that, not bad.

Hotel lobby looked great, but when entering room, room was dirty and smelled of mold. Sheets were dirty and when pulled back to inspect had hair on them. Heater A/C did not work, called front desk an maintenance person came up and said the breaker had been blown because we tried to use the heater. It kept blowing breaker every time we tried to use it.. […] Also TV did not work. Would not recommend or stay at this hotel in the future. Mehr

Hotel needs renovation. Very limited view of the Atlantic which was actually one block east.

Got to the hotel to find out that there is a $10.00 per car parking charge. It would of been nice to know that before booking the hotel. We had to take 2 cars to the hotel so it cost a extra $20.00. If I knew that before booking the hotel I would of stayed at a nicer hotel with free parking. Also the wireless internet does not work in all the rooms. […] my Wife had to go room to room with a staff member to find a room that we could use the internet. Mehr

Old but close to beach. Charge $10.00 per day for parking. Happy Hour is a hoax. Rum Punch(the cheapest drink made) is $5.00.

It's an older hotel.You could tell some things were old and need to be replaced/fixed. However the room was clean and fine for a night or two stay. It's within walking distance to the beach which is really nice. They have a nice pool with a slide for the kids and a bar that has happy hour each day. We were provided with complimentary continental breakfast […] which was better than most hotels. They had a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, and the usual pastries, oatmeal, cereal, etc. If you are looking for something that is decent, close to the beach, and reasonably priced this place would work well for you. Hotel is a little older and could use some updating. Breakfast was deluxe continental and was perfect, self service waffle station was a nice touch. Desk staff was very polite and accomodating. Pool area is very small, but the beach is only 1/2 block away so not really an issue. The outside bar is nothing more than 2 stools and a snack bar window but […] they did have some good frozen drinks. Pool is also used for scuba lessons which was fun to watch. Not going to impress anyone with this place, but price was reasonable, location perfect. Important to note that there is no on site full service restaurant. Mehr

Very convenient and easy access to the beach

Chose this hotel based on pool and slides for child. Proximity to beach also big factor. The staff was fantastic. Needed a smoking room and they accomodated that nicely. No complaints and would be happy and likley to stay again.

A block from the beach sold us on this hotel. Plus others recommended it on line as I am doing now. We had a good breakfast every morning; good coffee. All the staff was very pleasant, kind and accommodating. You can "rest assured" making your reservation at this hotel.

Illegal drugs were being smoked somewhere on second floor, when we called the only thing they did was spray air freshener, that is not ok for those of us who dont do illegal drugs, and the bad part was i was there for knee surgery and that was the day after or i would have left to go to another motel. I will not call this a hotel it doesnt deserve that […] title, I will be returning this summer i will not for any reason stay at another comfort inn!!! Mehr

Great Location and great service

If I had one complaint it would be that there is an extra charge for parking and a charge for an in room safe whether you used it or not. This should have been either included in the price or noted on the web site. Otherwise the staff was wonderful and the room was very comfortable and clean. I would stay there again.

A wonderful hotel staff, location, and cleanliness made this a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

this hotel is affordable and great walking distance from the beach a nice tiki bar on pool with great service made feel very welcome, the only complaint i had was that one of the slides was broken. the breakfast was delicious.

Although it's not directly on the beach. It's just a 3 minute walk to the beach and restaurants.

For instance, they will charge you for every little thing including a safe that you don't want. It al;ways worries me when they insist that you buy a safe... If you request the charge not to be done, they told me they would turn off the phone and movies?? What kind of racket was that? If the cost of this demandded charge was on the Hotels.com site, […] it wouldn't have been my choice as I could have gotten something less expensive just down the road. Mehr

The hotel was clean, located on the beach with a nice pool and the staff was very friendly. The only bummer was that not a single room had a balcony or slider that opened so you could enjoy the ocean view. Who builds something like this?

2 blocks from the ocean, great price, comfortable room.

The hotel is walking distance to the beach which is what i was looking for but the actual room smelled old, i had to spray my baby's perfume on the air filter so my room would smell good.

Great location from the beach, only about 2 minute walk away. Kids loved the waterslide in the pool. Room was okay, but for what we paid, we got more than what we paid for.

Things that should be disclosed on your site about this particular hotel are: Parking Fee per night $7 Safe in room fee per night $2 Pool slide does not open until 1pm which is the hottest part of the day. At any given time day or night there are 4-5 scuba divers with all of their gear diving in this pool which is very small for this type of activity. […] Since the pool slide was the biggest reason to pick this hotel we were disappointed. Hotel was in decent condition. Elevator was the slowest I've ever seen. Parking surchare is horrible since it should be included. They probably don't include so they can make the price of the rooms cheaper but you're still paying for it. They did allow a late checkout. Overall, good for the price.

My husband and I are self employed and work out of town a lot.He and I were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and very surprised at the price we paid to stay! The only complaint I have is that the maid service could have been a little mor friendly :)

Room was OK. Would have liked a bigger window since there is an extra charge for oceanside rooms. There was a fridge, microwave, coffee pot and a small safe. The staff was very friendly. I especially liked the late (5PM) checkout. The extra charge was moderate. We were planning on staying at the beach after morning checkout, but it was worth the extra […] money to be able to clean up and change before heading home. Mehr

o hotel esta muito bem localizado, a uma quadra do mar. Restaurantes e lojas próximos. Destaca-se o alto nivel e simpatia do atendimento recepção.

Excellent accueil. Hotel très bien situé, près de la plage. Animation plaisante en bord de mer le soir. Chambre petit déjeuner , très bien.
