Als Vorübernachtung für eine Kreuzfahrt völlig o.K. zumal das Hotel den kostenlosen Busshuttle stellt. Falls man zu Fuß Richtung Las Olaz Blv. geht, sollte man schon darauf achten, wer in der Umgebung rumläuft ( im Dunkeln besser mit dem Taxi fahren), da einige Obdachlose rumhängen.Aber das ist ja in Deutschland auch nicht anders. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse o. K.

Stilgemäßes Art-Deco-Hotel für einen Aufenthalt mitten drin in Miami Beach. Sehr schönes Ambiente in der Lobby. Zwar ist das Personal viel Kommen und Gehen von Gästen gewöhnt, trotzdem noch positive, freundliche Routine.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Es werden kostenlos Liegen und Handtücher am Strand zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr zu empfehlen für Gäste die direkt in der Nähe des Art Deco Viertels übernachten möchten.

Das Personal an der Rezeption machte einen dauerhaft genervten, gestressten ( warum auch immer ) und unsympatischen Eindruck. Von Spaß an der Arbeit und Gastfreundlichkeit keine Spur. Die Lage passt im Allgemeinen bis auf die Entfernung zum Ocean Drive. Das sind zu Fuß gute 45 Minuten bei flottem Gang. Restaurants sind nur wenige in direkter Umgebung, […] Fast-Food-Lokale so gut wie gar keine. Die größte Abzocke ist das Parken beim Hotel. Es sind keine Hotelparkplätze vorhanden. D.h. die einzige Möglichkeit ist das schräg gegenüberliegende Parkhaus bei dem stolze 31,- USD für 16 Stunden parken angeblich schon ein speziell ausgehandelter Tarif für Hotelgäste darstellt. Der normale Tarif liegt bei 35,- USD für 16 Stunden. Parken irgendwo am Straßenrand ist ebenfalls nicht möglich da entweder verboten oder dann Parkuhren stehen die Stundenweise mit 1,- USD gefüttert werden müssen. Wenn nicht wird sofort abgeschleppt. Von 18:00 Uhr bis früh um 08:00 Uhr kann dann ein öffentlicher Großraumparkplatz kostenlos genutzt werden ( ca. 300 m Entfernung ), danach dann max. 10 Stunden für 15,- USD. Aber die reinste Katastrophe bzw. schon fast ein Horror waren die beiden Hotelaufzüge zu den Zimmern. Innerhalb der 3 Tage unseres Aufenthaltes dort steckten wir insgesamt 4 Mal fest. Ansonsten kamen die Dinger beim Draufdrücken einmal - dann mal wieder nicht - beim anderen Mal wollten wir in den 10. Stock damit zu unserem Zimmer - ein Fahren bis zum 8. Stock war warum auch immer nur möglich. Alles krachte und schepperte, die Türen schlossen nicht richtig. Wenn dann die Türen mal schlossen mussten diese allerdings später durch Gewaltanwendung per Hand wieder geöffnet werden. Die Betriebszulassung, die in den USA in jedem Aufzug mit dem nächsten Wartungsdatum und Unterschrift von Amt zu finden ist, wurde in diesem Fall vorsorglich gleich mal entfernt. Mehr

"Nicht empfehlenswert"
Zimmer Nr 511 hat nicht einmal einen Abzug im Badezimmer.Badezimmerzustand miserabel. Zimmer liegt direkt neben der Eismaschine auf dem Korridor.Liftanlage im Hotel, Lift fährt dorthin wo er will. Diese Hotel sollte wieder einmal durch Hotel.com überprüft werden.

"Good bang for your buck"
Overall a good economy hotel for the neigbourhood, the room was adequate and clean. The staff were friendly, pool and deck were good, location is excellent, steps to the beach and boardwalk. The hotel was nice enough. It all seems a little dated, but it is maintained and clean so I was pleased with that.

I felt the the maintenance of the property was extremely poor and it was not clean. I did not want to sit on the bed for lay my luggage down on the floor. I did not want to use the bathroom due to not clean and the smell was far from fresh. I checked back out after I checked in and saw the room.

Beautiful location. Welcoming and helpfull staff. They did everything to make me feel comfortable. Rooms are clean. The pool was not open, but beach access was directly across the back. This would be my first choice for accomodations anytime we return to Miami.
Enjoyed my stay and peace of mind so much WE EXTENDED OUR STAY .Will be back soon.

The hotel is near the FountainBleu hotel in Miami Beach, good location, BUT, the room is the nastiest place i've ever stayed, smelled horrible, the shower drafter the water all over the room, they room kes never worked, elevators suck..... Good location to go party, but the hotel will be your worst nightmare

Hotel was cheap...which was what we wanted for our "pre-cruise" stay in Miami. Elevator sucked...would skip our floor. Stairs led to no where...in the event of a fire...you are just screwed!!! Closet was huge...not a real plus in a hotel. No good, inexpensive places to eat nearby...just hotels and their restaurants.

the worst hotel I've ever been in my entire life. Super old and dirty. Needs immediate renovation. The only decent area was the lobby. Bad service. The hair dryer was oxidized and did not worked. the sheets were broken, horrible. All I can say is little and for the same price there are plenty of better hotels in Napples, or Orlando.

"Weekend Stay"
Hotel located in an excellent location - the beach is your backyard. It has a gazebo-bar in the pool area which closes late. The only problem I had during this stay was that the bathroom was not clean. I called housekeeping 2 times. They cleaned the bathroom but still remained dirty even after I checked out. There was stool (seems from a pet) stuck […] underneath the door which was not completely cleaned. The bathroom smelled horrible. The other bad thing is the parking. The hotel does not have parking available so you have to pay $22 a night to park in the parking garage across the street. If you're lucky you'll find parking in the nearby meters (make sure you return before your time is up if not you'll get a ticket for sure) Overall the hotel is in a good location, the beach is your backyard. Bathroom tub bottom was all messed up and we had to put the bath towel before we took a shower. This hotel should be rated no more than 2 stars. We were lucky to stay just one night and enjoyed the oceanview though.

WORST HOTEL EVER... I booked a Oceanside room only to have a window view of there furnace. The bed had a cigarette hole in the comforter and the service was terrible. The elevator took 10 minutes just to get to our floor (4th). My family and I were there for a total of about 15 minutes and checked out and into another hotel. DO NOT take your children […] to this hotel. It is disgusting. Spend the extra money and get a nice room it's worth it. Mehr

Staff friendly, room clean and staff services were good. Pool area beautiful and beach access from hotel. Gift store was nice. Now the cons. As my family walked off elevator, we were met by working girls on our floor that continued to be loud late into the night. Our worst experiences was lack of support for a pizza meal ordered due to flyers left uner […] our door. The order was wrong and the food was cold. Not hotel's fault? Well, when told about the wrong and two hour delayed meal, they admitted that they have had complaints and told the vendor to stop putting flyers under doors. They were not supportive otherwise and perhaps there are some safety concerns if the pizza restaurant can access all rooms without notice. Finally, would be nice to have access to a microwave without having to pay a per day fee. Mehr
The only problem was the parking they did not have enough parking for the guess. We had to park in a city garage accross the street it was very expensive.

This hotel is run down and the hallway carpeting has stains. The parking is terrible and very expensive. The beds are uncomfortable and the rooms needed updating. You can hear everything from the street in your room. I would not stay here again.

the hotel lobby looked really good and was looking forward to staying there however soon changed the staff where rude and whilst dealing with our check in they ignored us to answer a call whilst dealing with my bank details then after finishing the call they come back to us to finish the check in and we found them to be very unhelpful the elevators […] where in poor condition and instead i walked the 10 floors to get in my room as i didnt feel safe in them and suprised they passed inspection then got to the room the door lock was broke, the beds where uncomfortable to sit on the carpet was a mess, the bathroom was tiny and could bearly move in there and the lighting was next to none in the end we stayed there a total of 4 hours and then changed hotels. "RUN DOWN!"
Wow! I should of listened to the reviews! The lobby was the only thing updated in this hotel. The elevators were old and barely functional. I got stuck in it. Horrible experience. Old rugs everywhere in the hotel, thin mattresses. The pool is sooooo cloudy and dirty, I was afraid to let my kids in. It was just gross!!

"Needs remodeling, not strict on pool hours"
Hotel is not in the best of shape and needs a little remodeling but they allowed us to be in the pool all night. Staff was very nice. There is also a lot of construction around the area, so parking in the streets was a bit difficult. There is a parking garage across the street, but it is very pricey.
I know you get what you pay for, but this hotel is on Collins Ave right next to FountaineBlu. Elevators suck, got stuck on one on the way up to our room at check in. I am surprised the elevators pass inspection. Scary. The one bellman was very nice, and he was trying poor guy ....Room was fairly clean, bed comfortable, bathroom very small, no fan, shower […] decent. Hotel should be a one star. Mehr
