When I made my reservation I made it for a smoking room but was given a non smoking room. It was a bit inconvenient but not a problem

Could use some serious renovations

The room was advertised with a mini fridge, microwave and mini safe, I reserved three rooms and it was more of a mix and match. One room had all three one room had non. All three rooms had problems with the plumbing. The towels were stained and a couple of them were humid. The beds were nice tho. I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was good for the price, but you could hear the highway traffic non stop. We did not rest well.

Arrived after a few hrs of our SeaWorld visit and our first room wasn't clean so we had to request another room... The second room was facing the street but the interstate traffic didn't really bother me.. No microwave or fridge as we requested in our reservation but it was a decent place to stay. I chose this hotel based largely on previous customer reviews - the average being 3.7 This is WAY off. This hotel is no where near being almost a 4-star hotel. This is a definite 2-star hotel at best. The weekend rate was unbelieveably high. For that amount there are much, much better choices in San Antonio. We had stained bed sheets; a bathroom that […] you wouldn't want to go barefoot in, with not enough soap or towels. The photo of the swimming pool is highly misleading. Hotel manager was wonderful and very polite. Upon arrival she checked us in and gave us some reccomendations for sight seeing around the area. When doing this, she kept in mind that we had two small children with us and she was spot on with what we would enjoy. We plan on making this a trip at least once a year and we will use this hotel in the fut […] ure. Mehr

Great hotel, not far from the things that made my vacation wonderful.

The beds were comfortable and the location was good. But only some rooms have a microwave (they all have a fridge), our first room smelled bad--we had to move, the breakfast is bare bones, and the pool is ten feet long! TVs are old tube-type with poor reception. So keep your expectations modest and it is an okay place.

Hotel staff were friendly & helpful. I was disappointed in the condition of the bathroom tho, no tub but tiled shower & it was not very clean. The vent in the bathroom did not work. The bed was dusty & the AC was not cold enough. other than that it was an OK stay.

We stayed here during my son's graduation from Lackland Air Force Base, the hotel was a very nice surprise for the money- it was clean, the room was big, the staff was very friendly and helpful with directions around town, The Breakfast was enough to get you thru my son enjoyed the Texas shaped Waffles. This location was only about 6-7 miles to the […] base so it was very easy to spend every last minute we could with him without having to leave so early to get him back to base. I recently stayed at this hotel for my son's military graduation. I was very disappointed with the room. The room was very painted a very dark color on the walls and ceiling which made it very dark inside and needs updating. They gave us ony 2 of each type of towel and they were stained and worn out. The bedding was stained and the blanket you could […] see thru. The continental breakfast had very few items to choose from also. I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless they do some major changes to it. Mehr

In a sense, this hotel is well located (not very far from Seaworld) and by the 410 northwest loop. However, seaworld was closed for the winter season when I was at this motel. Therefore, I was a little far away from other attractions (not really close to downtown San Antonio, for instance). Nevertheless, by the 410 northwest freeway we can easily travel […] to other areas of San Antonio. On Saturday, I went to the Natural Bridge Caverns (located at about 30 minutes drive northeast of the motel). The motel itself is all right: good beds, clean rooms, etc. Sometimes there was some static interferences with the TV programs (as if the TV signal was not well received). For breakfast, they have an automatic wafle maker that makes wafles in the shape of the Texas map. I probably would recommend this hotel to other people. Mehr

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. 4 of those 5 nights the cable TV in my room did not work. I heard every excuse for 4 days of my 5 day stay. On day 5 it still did not work. Front desk lady has no answers, it is always an excuse, or call this person tomorrow, etc. Breakfast they offer is toast, a mini bagel, and apple juice- hopefully you like those […] 3 things or you are out of luck. TVs in the room are circa 1989 FYI. Bathrooms did have good toilet paper, so not all was bad. Mehr

Not a bad place at all! Front desk ladies very very nice. Close to many restaurants and on 410 right across Ingram Park Mall. Could use a little TLC on the exterior and carpet in the room but bed was comfortable and no plumbing problems. If you're dead set on staying downtown then don't bother with this hotel but if you need to head south for the […] oil patch this place is ok. Mehr

Hotel was more than we expected, very friendly and helpful front desk people

The property is nice and I enjoyed my stay. The parking is less than desirable. It's valet at a very high rate.

Have been staying at various hotels in and around San Antonio and by far this has been the one hotel that has been comfortable, spacious, safe, and in between both Sea World and Six Flags. My family and I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back.

The room was clean enough, however, the TV had no remote control. We were awakend by noisy people at 1am & again at 3am.

Did not like having to pay the entire bill and being locked in before I even left my home state . The staying was adequate , daily room service good .The self serve laundry ( 1 machine 1 dryer ) worked well . Pool looked clean . Wake Up call worked , but clock radio did not ~inoperable ~ as was the relacement they provided . MAIN COMPLAINT WAS THAT […] THE COMPUTER IN THE BUISNESS CENTER WAS OFFLINE AND INOPERABLE FOR MORE THAN HALF MY 8 DAY STAY . However , at the end of my stay it was working , and I was able to print my boarding passes . And , as usual , the TV remote was quite worn and would not change chanells down + , but would go up - . I was able to obtain a ground level room at my request , as they had me pre-booked into the 2nd level . Was able to park right in front of my room every nite . The fact that I was obviously there to shoot in the National Sporting Clays Championship , and had firearms with me , did not seem to matter to the hotel staff ~ just keep it discreet , eh . It was really difficult to look past the hair that was in the bed when we turned back the covers and the thought of the previous guest(s) staying in the room before us to even think about anything else regarding the room!

a bit noisy since right on freeway, but close to sea world and very friendly and helpful staff. room was clean and comfortable.

Desk clerk was very friendly and helpful upon check-in. Room and bathroom were very clean and neat. Good wi-fi, even in the very back of hotel. Only negatives were a guy wanting my dirty towels early on Sunday morning and breakfast ending at 9am. It would be nice to keep it out until at least 10 on Sundays. Hotel price was more than an bargain for the quality of stay. Room was clean and comfortable. I will stay there again in the future.

I was ok its only bad points was when we return from seaworld the air was turned off so it was un comfortable for awhile. pool to small, breakfast was nothing to brag had better at other hotels. In fact didnt even bother with it had to go to Mc donalds.next time we return will most likely check out another place.

The help was very helpful. The room was good esp. for the price we payed. They had a decent breakfast which was included in the price of the room. We would stay again at this hotel.

We arrived at this hotel around 9:15pm and it was AT LEAST 90 degrees in the room. The air conditioner was not running at all and after a long, very hot day at Sea World, this was NOT a welcome visit. Also, I had booked the room for 4 people and the accommodations in the room were only for 2. I had to go all the way to the front desk to get towels, […] and, because we were so tired, we made do with the 2 cups they provided and reused the coffee cups. The shower and toilet were in a tiny enclosed space and the sink and bathroom counter were exposed to the room which made it even more difficult to try and shower and get dressed while the temperature in the room was so hot. Not to mention trying to dry off and change in front of everyone. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Mehr

We had a great stay at this location. My dear daughter just loved having the Texas shaped waffles every morning. I found the breakfast area to be clean and well stocked with bread, bagles, muffins, PB, jelly, cream cheese, asst. cereal, oatmeal, fruit, juice, coffee and milk, as well as, the waffles. We were there over the Labor Day weekend and found […] it to be a great location, 15 min to Sea World or downtown. We were so close that we left Sea World for a cool off break in the afternoon and the small hotel pool was all ours and then we went back to the park to enjoy dinner and fireworks. The hotel staff was very helpful at check in: offering coupons, maps and directions to the attractions we were interested in. Mehr

I was extremely impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff and management. The General Manager, Purvi, was exceptional and took care of eveything I needed. I was on a business trip and needed to use their business center as well as fax machine and they were so very helpful! Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Was very close to Sea World, eateries, shopping, pet care. All in the immediate area. Must try Texdelphia - Excellent Cheese Steaks and great price and atmosphere. Only problem we had was remote wouldn't work the tv - went to front desk - which gave us a new remote and batteries but still didn't work - no big d […] eal!! Mehr

One Word, Excellent. Rooms are clean, Staff is very nice, Excellent location. 10 minutes away from Sea World. Restaurants all around. Could not ask for a better place.

Would not recommend this hotel due to having bees inside my hotel room. Also there was dead bees in my a/c and also growing mold. I had to change rooms two times, and also the bed frames are off, I kept on rolling off when got close to the edge of the bed, so did my wife.

Had an excellent stay there. I would have liked it to be closer to Sea World, but the surrounding area was still nice. I thought they closed the breakfast buffet a little too soon, but early birds get the worms I guess. But I didn't like having to unplug the refrigerator to use the microwave and vice versus.
