Das Hotel ist zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen,aber doch sehr saubere Zimmer. Leider sind die Zimmer etwas Dunkel und und gelüftet wird wohl eher nicht,das war nicht sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück ist für Amerikanische Verhältnisse reichhaltig. Es gibt nicht nur Muffins,oder Donuts und dünnen Cafe`, sondern auch Toast, frische Waffeln Marmelade,Oragensaft […] und Obst. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Del Amo Fashion Center,Dennys Restaurante und Coffe Bean,lässt sich alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Recondo Beach ist mit dem Auto in ca 15 minuten zu erreichen. Der LA International Airport ca 30 minuten.Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort hin gehen,das Preis Leistungsverhältniss stimmt. Schade nur: es giebt keinen Pool.!! ( Hotel gegenüber hat kleinen! Das Zimmer war geräumig, helll möbliert und sauber. Es gab das typische amerikanische Frühstück. Der Frühstücksraum befand sich unmittelbar neben der Rezeption. Er wäre von außen zugänglich, die Türe war aber verschlossen. Um rein zu kommen, musste man unmittelbar neben der Rezeption nach hinten und um die Ecke gehen. Eigentlich kein Durchgang für […] Gäste. Wir wunderten uns zunächst, aber dann sahen wir das Schild im Frühstücksraum, dass man nichts mitnehmen solle. Man wollte anscheinend dadurch verhindern, ob man etwas Essbares mitnimmt. I was in Torrance to attend a Kings game that night in L.A. My only two minor negatives about my stay were a: The front desk clerk at noon was not at ALL compliant or helpful in my desire to check in before 3pm. He merely pointed to the sign and said "3:00 pm". I don't expect to get what I want at all times, but he didn't even look in the computer to […] check on the hotel's status. Room smelled, bathroom had mold, cracked/broken tub, leaking sink, holes patched but not finished. Awful breakfast food. Would not ever recommend this place. Located near a mall. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Not worth the price.

The hotel in nicely situated close to freeway 405. There are a lot of parking spaces and the hotel staff are friendly and professional and nicely dressed too. The hotel rooms are of a good size and very clean. The fridge inside the room is a good size and the bed is very comfortable and linens are clean. There are also enough pillows in the bed and […] even the cover sheet looks and feels clean. The hairdryer is new and clean and the bathroom is clean as well. The only 2 things maybe that could be improved would be the water pressure and if they can put at least 2 sets of soap and shampoo in the room. Overall though, it was really a very pleasant stay. This hotel is the classic case of "you get what you pay for". While it wasn't dreadful, it definitely wasn't a great stay. The fan unit in the room was extremely noisy. The lights above the sink/mirror were flickering and noisy, the bed in the room seemed old, a lot of surrounding noise and the walls in the bathroom had hair stuck to it. The shower […] water pressure was next to nil. The most frustrating thing about this hotel was the WiFi. I was there on a business trip from Canada and was relying on WiFi. I was told there was WiFi. My iPhone couldn't connect to the hotel WiFi due to timeouts from a weak connection. My computer could eventually connect to the network but was continually dropped from the network and when I was connected, every page loaded ridiculously slow (if they even loaded). I eventually turned on the international roaming on my phone and racked up nearly $100 in data roaming charges. This means my $70 room actually cost $170. I should've stayed across the street at the DoubleTree or next door at the Marriott. Mehr

For the price I wasn't expecting the hotel to be as good as it was. The room was clean. It's in a perfect location close to great restaurants and grocery store. We just needed a place to sleep, so I was pleasantly surprised when there was a fridge and microwave! If you're wanting something inexpensive and clean I would stay here!

Checked in at 10 pm 12/26/2012. Heater did not work .Called desk and the gentleman from the desk came up to try and fix it. He couldn't fix it and told us that maintenance man will be in the next day .We went out the next day and returned late. Heater was not fixed . Front desk people were very good and helpfull with a microwave and a small refrigerator. Breakfast was good but not many choices. I stayed there in room 226 with my family 3 nights from Dec.29 to Dec.31st and checked out on Jan 1st. Room was clean and they claen the room daily. Hotel is old but inside the room, it was good. The room heater was not working […] and I asked them to fix. They fixed it next day but that night they gave us extra blankets as it was too cold that night. I have no complain. Upon arriving - we were quite impressed with the place. It's not much to look at from the outside, but it has a great, central location within close walking distance to a variety of shops, banks and restaurants. The hotel room itself was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed and nice sheets. They provide three different types of pillows (from […] thin and firm to overstuffed and soft), which was nice. The king sized bed had six pillows - two of each type. There was a nice outdoor seating area on the second floor, and soda and ice machine. In the morning, breakfast was wonderful for a budget hotel. In addition to the usual coffee and pastries (assorted danishes and muffins), there were bagels, toast, Philadelphia cream cheese, butter, margarine, jelly, four or five types of cereal in the cereal bar along with fat-free and regular milk and creamer. There were also fresh fruit, three kinds of juices (apple, grapefruit and orange), and the crowning glory - fresh waffles with syrup. Seriously loved the breakfast! Maid service was wonderful and did an excellent job cleaning the rooms. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Will DEFINITELY stay here again. Only drawbacks are really horrible, practically non-existent wi-fi connection and limited, blurry channels on the television.. Not a huge deal, but it was frustrating not being able to connect online from the comfort of our room. Mehr

On arrival my room had a bad smoke smell dispite being a non-smoking hotel. I was relocated to a different room with a much better smell. Through the five days I was there I used my 3g internet connection due to an wifi outtage on day 1, i was told, however, they had technicians on the way. Day 2, they didn't know there was a wifi outage and were going […] to call someone. Day 3, the wifi was still out and the front desk said the person before them did not give them a passdown about the wifi. Long story short, at the end of my stay, there was still no wifi. If you come here, don't expect it to work. Finally, the only other thing I was mildly annoyed with were the legs of the rolling cusion in the room that kept falling off leaving it lopsided all the time. Reasonable place to stay for the price. The room comes with a fridge and coffee maker, no other amenities are provided. The outside is an ugly design and the parking spaces seen narrow. No pool or outside amenities so it is pretty basic.
