Ich war ziemlich zufriedem mit dem Hotel. Man sollte nicht lärmempfindlich sein, da das Hotel im Grunde direkt am Expw liegt. (Dallas ist als Stadt an sich aber recht laut). Das Hotel serviert ein Full Breakfast, das den Namen auch verdient. Wer zwei-drei Tage in Dallas verbringt, sollte sich dieses Hotel näher ansehen. Service und Freundlichkeit waren ausgezeichnet. Die Umgebung ist eine mittlere- bis gehobene Wohngegend.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Flughafen und bietet neben einem Blick aufs Rollfeld (Fluglärm bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht hörbar) einen kostenlosen (Tips USA-typisch nicht inkludiert). Wir haben es als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit vor einem Weiterflug am Folgetag genutzt. Hierzu eignet es sich wirklich hervorragend.

Das Hotel liegt in ruhiger Stadtrandnähe (nur wenige Autominuten vom Zentrum entfernt). Allerdings gibt es in der direkten Umgebung keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sondern nur ein Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe, bzw. einen Fast-Food-Laden ca. eine Meile entfernt. Im Hotel wurde der in dieser Preisklasse übliche Standard geboten. Das Frühstück war vielseitig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden (Empfang, Sauberkeit) und können dieses Hotel weiterempfehlen.
Es können eventuell Gebühren für zusätzliche Personen anfallen, die abhängig von den Bestimmungen des Hotels variieren können.
Beim Check-in werden Lichtbildausweis und Kreditkarte oder eine Kaution in bar für unvorhergesehene Aufwendungen verlangt.

"Days Inn and Suite DeSoto, TX"
The motel was great for what we were doing and prpbably much more. Stayed one night on business and was very convient to everywhere we need to be. Would use again for personal or leisure. I wou;d recommend to anyone.
I reserved a disability accessible room online. When arriving to the hotel, the front desk clerk was unpleasant and instead of explaining the room structure and accessible usage, she questioned my reservation by asking if I needed this type of room and if I knew what type of room I was getting. I explained that it was mainly for my Mother and then she […] was uncertain if there was a shower or tub with railings and if they had lower level rooms with accessiblity. She had to call someone to verify this. While processing the reservation she was very snappy, impatient and rude. She swiped my card saying, we need it for damages., but not explaining further. The room expereince was marginal, the heater was malfunctioning and my Mother became ill overnight due to the uneasiness. THere were not enough towels or soap in the room to use. Overall it was just a place to lay our heads, but will stay elsewhere next time. Mehr
"No Comforters?"
When I entered my room I noticed there wasn't a comforter on my bed. I was thinking that the maid service just hadn't finished fixing up the room yet. When I asked the lady at the front desk, she told me that there wasn't any comforters AT ALL in a queen size in the hotel. She said all they have are comforters in queen sizes. Then after she finishes […] playing on her Ipad she decides to give me a paper thin blanket. I asked her if I could just have a king size comforter because it was suppose to get down to 30 degrees that night. She LIED and said she didn't have anymore. Right before I walked out I happened to look into the storage room and see at least 10 king size comforters. When I questioned her about this she finally decided to get up and get me a comforter and told me it's going to be way too big for my bed. Like I care about the size. I'm was just trying to stay warm. I'm NEVER staying there again. Mehr
Hotel customer service was terrible. Need a major overhaul of everything from the front desk help to the rooms to the management.

"Great Experience"
We enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn in Desoto, TX. The staff was friendly and very nice the manager told us upfront that they crickets in some rooms that are outside the building due to the time of season and I appreciated the honesty and make sure none came into our room. Overall I rate 5 out of 5*****.

Very comfortable room, will certainly be staying when we come to town!
the bed spread had a burnt hole in it, the tub was dirty and smoke dector went off the stay wasn't a pleasant one and the night staff wasn't to friendly either, it was like they were stero typing people heard some un necessary comments

Well, what can one say when the place smelled of mildew, there were bugs which looked to be roaches. The bath tub didn't drain while I was showering which caused me to rewash my feet in the sink after showering. The air coming from the air conditioner smelled of mildew, the plastic shower curtains looked and smelled of mildew. Overall not worth the […] money paid to stay there. Oh the Continental Breakfast consisted of dry cerial, coffee and a few sweet rolls. Mehr

"Bath and Body Shower Gel"
Although i rated the hotel services with a high rating. I had a personal item that was taken during my stay. I talked to the manger on Wednesday night to explain what was missing and was told that he would compensate my lost by sending me a complimentary discount certificate. However, he did not keep his word. As a matter of fact, he did not take responsible […] for the lost item. He did not apologize to me for the item that was removed from my room. I will contact the headquarters because they did not take responsible. It is the principle not necessarily the item that was taken. Mehr
"Good Location"
The first room they checked us into did not have any lamps on the walls or on the lamp table, we requested a new room and they gave it to us and it had the lamps the manger told us that the hotel was being remodeled and the lamps were on back order, the site stated no breakfast but they did offer a small continental breakfast in the lobby with muffins, […] toast, cereal, coffee, tea etc...... location was great for us we were there for a family reunion at Joe Pool lake would stay there again if I got a remodeled room Mehr
"You get what you paid for:"
The lighting was really bad. Electrical outlets only one working. Curtains were drooping and not clean. Bedspread had stains in it. Front desk clerk was really rude and very unfriendly. She acted as if I was bothering her when we were trying to check in. Never smile or asked us how we were doing or even explain where our room was located. I asked if […] she could add my reward# and she told me know right out that I had to go on line to get that done. If we have to go on line to do these certain things then that would really take a lot of jobs away from people. "I guess I got what I paid for"
The hotel was mediocre as far as the service. The young lady that I dealt with on Saturday to pay the last night of my room was very rude. There was not much choice for the hotel's breakfast and the clocks were not current upon my arrival. For the price, it was a room to stay in for the visit.

Everything we needed was right there. Good for shopping and sight seeing. The staff was friendly.

The hotel is undergoing renovations on some parts which is good because it used to be called red roof inn and it definitely needed an upgrade. But i stayed in one of the inside rooms instead of one that opened from the outside and had no problems as far as noise or being disturbed. Best words to describe the hotel are simple, clean and neat. Nothing […] fancy or extravagant. The only problem i had was at one point the elevator was broken but its only has 3 floors so wasnt bothered by it. But it was fixed the same day. Mehr
