Das Hotel war eine positive Überraschung und überzeugte uns durch einen gehobenen Komfort und Service. Die Betten waren einwandfrei und obwohl wir nur ein Zimmer unterm Dach mit nur einem Dachfenster hatten, war unser Aufenthalt durchweg positiv. Das Zimmer war schön groß und ruhig. Der kleine hoteleigene See hinterm Haus lädt zum Kajak-fahren ein. Das Restaurant im Haus bietet mit einer großen Auswahl an warmen Speisen und Salaten keinen Grund zum Essen das Gelände zu verlassen.

Wir haben hier eine Nacht verbracht auf unserem Weg durch Vermont. Der Hotelbesitzer war sehr nett und wir haben uns lange beim Fruehstueck mit ihm unterhalten. Das Zimmer an sich war bereits etwas aelter, das Bett nicht mehr ganz so gemuetlich. Badezimmer war dafuer sauber und schoen. Wenn man in der Gegend ist, sollte man auf jeden Fall nach Burlington fahren, eine tolle Universitaetsstadt am See Champlain! In der Naehe ist auch eine Ben & Jerrys Fabrik :)

Wir haben in diesem Hotel auf der Durchreise von Montreal nach New York City für eine Nacht übernachtet. Das Hotel entsprach voll unseren Erwartungen. Es ist sauber und in gutem Zustand. Die Lage nahe der Autobahnauffahrt ist praktisch. Es gibt keine Lärmbelästigung durch diese Nähe. In der Umgebung gibt es die üblichen Fast Food-Ketten und Läden.
"really nice people"
The best part about the hotel was the courteous staff. I was there for 2 nights and ALL of the people (including the housekeeper) I dealt with were friendly as well as efficient.

"super satisfied"
My mom and I stayed in this hotel just for one night but it was enough for us to be very satisfied with every aspect of it... specially the cleanliness. It will be definitely our hotel every time we get to stay in Burlington.

"Clean But Old"
Good location with easy access. The hotel is older and the rooms show it. The room build quality is not great but it works. The desk chairs in the room are very uncomfortable. The bed and pillows were fine. They have LCD TVs which is nice, and they have Showtime - which is also nice. The cleaning service did a good job but there is a general weird […] smell in the hallway and room. You get used to it. The breakfast was very simple: cereal, bagels, fruit and a waffle maker. Coffee is always available. The free wifi exists but it is slow. I was better off using my AT&T MiFi instead. I'd stay here again because it is probably the best deal as far as price goes. Mehr

The walls are VERY thin and the room had an odor which seemed an attempt to coverup some OTHER odor. Selection of breakfast items was good, but the noise and odors made it a place to which we will not return.

A basic hotel with adequate amenities. Needs some updating, but a place to stay that is near all Burlington has to offer.

Great location, room was fine. Only complaint was room definitely smelled of cigarette smoke, even though we had requested a non-smoking room.

"Won't stay at LaQuinta Inn- S. Burlington again!"
Besides the convenient location, this hotel sucks! The service was poor and the room was filthy! The bedspreads had stains all over them and the bed headboards and lamps had a half inch of dust on them. Bathroom floors were filthy in the corners. Our TV worked fine the first night, but failed to work the next day. We called and asked if someone would […] come look at it. They said 10 minutes. Half hour later I called back and they finally sent someone. He could not fix it and stated that he gets about 8 calls a night regarding these TV's! When he left my daughter said that man had been hanging out, chatting with the girl at the front desk when she had gone for a walk after our initial call. He was in no hurry to come help us. My 2 teenagers were losing their minds without TV and they don't have a game room either. We had planned to go out and leave the kids in the room, but by the time we got someone to come look at the TV, it was getting late and the employees were looking a bit sketchy anyway, so those plans went out the window. We all ended up going to bed early. The kid's bed was also not made the next day. There was a note on it left by the cleaning lady. She wrote 'Sorry, can't touch this bed" and then on this type-written paper on La Quinta's letterhead was circled 1 of 4 reasons why she couldn't touch it. She couldn't touch it because "personal items were left on the bed/dresser/ counter." The kids had left 2 bags on the bed. I can only guess they've had a problem with employees touching guests items in the past and this is how they've chosen to handle the situation. I'm also guessing she didn't clean off the dresser and bathroom counter area since we had items on those surfaces. Do you think maybe they could have told us ahead of time to move our items so they can clean??? I seriously considered leaving her a note saying "We didn't leave any personal items on the headboards and lamps. Why didn't you clean those?" We ended up at LaQuinta Inns and Suites because Mehr

"Comfy beds"
This hotel was so convient for us. We had a car ofcourse and the hotel was located just a little ways from the rental car place. The person at the hotel desk was very helpful and directed us to a really nice area in Burlington to visit. Oh...THE BEDS!!! are the best I have ever slept in, seriously!!! Hotel was fine in all respects except it was very noisy. There was very little sound barrier between rooms or hall way. Every door opening, flush and water running could be heard as well as conversations. Beds were good. Clean rooms and friendly staff.
"Convenient Location - but needs updating"
THis hotel is convenient to UVM and shopping but is in a state of benign neglect. Bathtub was in disrepair and room showed aging neglect. Also skimpy on room amenities (shampoo and conditioner)
The hotel room had an offending smell though it seemed very clean. The bed was worn and gave me back aches in the morning. The staff was great and very helpful.

We stayed here last year and were very satisfied. However, this time our room lacked electricity on one side, no TV, no iron. Our only option was to repack our things and move to another room The reception desk is not well managed--even when no one else is waiting, the lone person is on the phone. One day our room wasn't made up at all.

A clean, decent, typical 21st century partial-service hotel (eg. included continental breakfast, but no dinner service or bar). Room was comfortable, with good pillow-top mattresses and nice tub/bath. The "in-wall" air conditioner was fairly noisy, but very effective. Breakfast lacked any fresh-fruit, and/or any meats, but offered make your own waffles, […] good bagels, yogurt, passable coffee and orange or apple juice. Friendly staff and a fairly large outdoor pool. Overall a perfectly satisfactory place, but in no way special or unique. "A little smelly..."
The hotel was ok, I've stayed in worse. Good location, breakfast was good. Was able to get on to the internet fine in the lobby. Trash on floor in hallway, room smelled bad, and the AC couldn't keep up with the humidity. The sheets felt wet - hate that!
Nice hotel, clean, comfortable. Close for shopping and restaurants. Staff is friendly!
"Good hotel for price and location"
The hotel was standard. Nothing special, but comfortable and close to downtown Burlington. About a $15 cab ride from downtown, including tip. Also, right next to Al's French Fries, if youre a big fan, its the perfect location. Breakfast included also pretty good.

While nothing special, the La Quinta was clean and in relatively good condition. I would rate it a decent value.

Room kind of smelled of cigars, but the 1mile drive to downtown Burlington can't be beat.
We were in Burlington to look at UVM and needed a quick easy place to stay. It was perfect. Nothing flashy or fancy, but clean and quiet and nice breakfast.

"La Quinta Inn Burlington"
This room was perfect for our purposes. The only downside was the excessive noise of the plumbing, but they said they would look into it when I mentioned it on departure. Staff were very helpful.
rug in room was damp and room smelled musty,their were q tips on floor,went to use bath room sink and facuet came off. complained in morning upon checkout as we checked in very late. manager was unavailable , given managers card called and left complaint requested a return call which i never recieved

Only 2.5 miles from Lake Champlain, this hotel is a perfect stay for a trip to the Burlington Area. It is perfectly situated between fast food and coffee shops. A Super continental breakfast is compimentary every morning, including their famous yummy waffles.. soo good.. A must eat is Al's Frys which is next door to this hotel. The hotel is also a […] great alternative to paying a crazy amount per night for a hotel that is closer to the lake. Why pay so much more per night? Just drive the 2 miles (literally 5 minutes) to the lake and park in the garage for $8 a day. Full length mirror was a plus, so was the Samsung LCD. Staff was so nice and helpful. The fron desk staff was Super, as they knew everything about the city of Burlington, including restaurants to eat at, fireworks info, and easiest ways to get to attractions (such as winery's and brewerys. "Quite good"
We had two rooms with 4 adults and 3 kids. For the price, the Clarion was a good value. Also had a free continental breakfast that was reasonably good.

I booked and prepaid for 1 nt. At this hotel. I reserved a nonsmoking room. I called the hotel on route to see if we needed to come to the hotel first before we went to the restaurant. Was told no problem, the room was prepaid. When we got to the hotel at 10pm all they had was smoking rooms. I was told that when booking thru a third party vendor, such […] as Hotels.com, room type is not guaranteed. "Decent hotel for the price"
We use the hotel rooms we book basically to shower and sleep so don't like to spend a lot of money to do that. If you are looking for hotels with fancy amenities/services and gourmet restaurants this is not it. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We did have to ask for extra towels each day. "Location caused almost 3 hours"
Location caused almost 3 hours turning in cycles until I found it. Execelent services from Desk people helped to fix this, but I want to make you understand that people on one day business trip in FLL cannot spend any extra time to find hotel location. I travel a lot and this is the first time it happens I can't find the hotel with the GPS.
