Geschmackvolle, edle Zimmereinrichtung! 2009 renoviert! Personal sehr zuvorkommend und engagiert!Sehr nah am Flughafen (8 €) und am Hafen! Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig, frisch und lecker!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had no complaints. Rooms are clean and adiquate. Located within 20 minutes walk from the city center. The nighborhood looked safe even at night. Nice facilities and friendly staff. If we had one complaint, its that for some reason, they give you two single beds side by side instead of one double bed as stated in the  […] description. Mehr

The hotel is very attractive and not too far from town, but traffic is bad and walking is difficult because sidewalks are torn up. There are not many restaurants nearby. I would choose to stay in the middle of twon next time or out in one of the smaller towns and simply come into Iraklion to see the Palace of Knossos.

This hotel, which advertised great service, was seriously lacking in exactly that department. While one of the staff was helpful, the others were arrogant and showed no concern. One example - the hotel advertised coffee makers in all rooms. Our room did not have one. It took us three phone calls and two trips down to the reception desk, and a total […] of at least 5 hours, before they finally brought something. And what they brought was just a water heater to make instant coffee - hardly a coffee maker in my opinion. The room was also very small. Mehr

"Hospitality" was the staff's motto and they put it in action in small and big ways. Immaculately clean. Modern facilities. We had a medical emergency and the owner and staff offered help in various ways, in the hotel and at the hospital.

This was our first time in Crete and we were a bit apprehensive about staying in Heraklion after being told by a relative that this was the "dodgy" end of the island. Wrong...Heraklion is fine, we didn't experience anything but friendliness and helpfulness everywhere we went. The hotel itself is a four/five star with comfortable rooms and all the amenities […] that you would wish to find at any leading hotel in any country. The pool area is good and only suffers by being shaded a lot of the time by surrounding buildings. The breakfast is well presented and the wait staff are attentive without being intrusive. I suppose the only downside (if it is in fact a downside) is the location. It is a decent walk to the townsite and harbour (downhill going, uphill return) which is OK if it is not 35 degrees. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travellers to Crete. Mehr

Really enjoyed the night we spent there, room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were most helpful. There was a plate of complimentary sweets in the room which was a fabulous touch! The hotel is only about a 10 min walk to the touristy centre of Heraklion, and is not far from a large range of pubs and restaurants. Wish we ha stayed longer […] ! Mehr

Comfortable rooms, excellent service (actually best service of all hotels while in Greece) and convenient access to national highway and downtown Heraklion.

We booked this hotel for a few of reasons: first we wanted a 5 star hotel and the description of what was offered seemed to suit our needs, second the price was very reasonable and third the reviews provided by other guests were terrific. When we arrived we were more than satisfied with our room and the hotel in general. The service was great and the […] cleanliness of the hotel was amazing. The fresh water pool was also a nice touch, we spent a lot of time enjoying it and the surrounding deck and lounge area. It is also only about 10-15 min taxi drive from the airport. I would highly recommend this hotel to whoever is considering staying in Iraklio. Mehr

Vetri restaurant is very good (though more Italian/international than Greek) with great list of Greek wines.

This hotel is a little further from the main area than some other hotels, but still very walkable and much easier to find because it is on such a main road. The staff were extraordinarily helpful- when my husband got lost, they helped me track him down and the bellman went to meet him to direct him back. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations […] and directions to other Crete cities. The included breakfast was delicious with a lot to choose from. We got an amazing rate since we stayed in late October and felt we got well beyond what we paid for. Mehr

This hotel was a highlight of our trip in Greece. We got upgraded to a suite upon check in and it was very comfortable, including two TV sets (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) and a very nice bathroom. I saw one of the regular rooms and they look quite good as well. The hotel underwent renovations recently and I can tell they made a really […] good job in the rooms as well as the public areas. The pool area is lovely, with the restaurant next to it providing the ability to order a good range of foods and drinks while sitting in the sun. Very nice, trendy design with the peaceful sound of of running water. Breakfast is fantastic with all imaginable local delicacies. The waiters are great and there was even one guy who took a tray with food to the room for my wife (she woke up later than me) after breakfast hours finished! The excellent training of all the stuff really shows. Only con is that the hotel is not that central, but it is close enough to most places and taxis are cheap so this is no biggie for me. Mehr

Due to a change in plans, my wife and I sought a hotel near the airport in Crete with only a couple of days notice. The Galaxy Iraklio suited our requirements well, and we chose an Executive room, which was of the highest standard. The hotel restaurants were excellent, the pool was clean with top class facilities, and above all the hotel staff were […] charming and spontaneously helpful. Admittedly a city location is not everyone's first choice, but within a ten minute walk Heraklion offers upmarket shopping and a good choice of local restaurants. This was our first time in Crete, and we would plan to visit again, probably spending a week in a resort and a week at The Galaxy. Having been a regular in the Corfu Palace hotel in Corfu town for many years, the facilities at the Galaxy were ten times better! Mehr

We stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to Crete (May 2009). While we were waiting to check-in, a couple of people who walked in after us, disregarded those waiting in line and jumped the queue. We wre quite upset that the desk personnel did nothing to prevent this (a similar thing happenned while we were trying to check out). 호텔의 위치, 서비스 등 대부분 만족스러웠습니다. 그러나 single room이라고 해도 방이 너무 작아요. 책상에 앉아 일을 하면 침대와 맞다아 움직이기 조차 어렵습니다. 방크기 실측결과 원래 계약조건에 제시된 크기에 크게 미치지 못합니다. 이 부분에 계약조건 수정 등 정확한 정보제공이 필요합니다.

hotel de standing (d'affaires), tres propre, moderne, mais un peu excentré du centre, Tres belle piscine. Petit dejeuner tres varié et copieux. personnel tres disponible. Chambres un peu petites.

Camere piccole, troppo. Pulizia ok. Appena rinnovato.

El hotel es extraordinario, la habitacion muy buena y los servicios: piscina, desayuno, personal muy satisfactorio no esta en la zona mas turistica, pero en 10 min andando se llega

Goed hotel, goed onderhouden, prima personeel.

Η τοποθεσία και η ποιότητα του ξενοδοχείου είναι απο τα μεγάλα του πλεονεκτήματα.Επιτέλους ένα ξενοδοχείο της κατηγορίας του που προσφέρει και δωρεάν Wi-Fi και δεν χρειάζεται παραπάνω λεφτά για να δεις ενα μαιλ!!!!!

Hotel qui mérite ses 5 étoiles. service de tres grande qualité. chambre contemporaine et raffinée. piscine charmante. quartier résidentiel tres agréable bcp de restaurant et commerce. à 10 minutes du centre (promenade tres agreable pour y aller ou bien par bus).

et du Wifi gratuit.

Très bel hôtel proche du centre. Accueil compétent. Décoration soignée avec de superbes détails architecturaux. Belles chambres très design quoique, peut-être, un peu petites. Une bonne adresse à recommander.

Heerlijke suite gehad, goede service en een heerlijk ontbijt. Prachtig zwembad en mooie moderne inrichting van het hotel. Absolute aanrader in het centrum van heraklion.

super rooms - club suites are nice and spacious compared to the deluxe rooms. Clean, well designed, high quality interior. Very helpfull staff. The pool area is nice and with a good vibe.
