Loud rooms with paper thin walls, rude front desk clerk talking on her cell phone rather than assisting guests, dated rooms and furniture, overall feeling of discomfort and dissatisfaction from barely passable cleaning and condition of rooms.

Kiddy themed room bed covers were a surprise. Clean and safe. Heater fan helped to offset lack of noise proofing. Good rate from Hotels.com appreciated. Friendly at the desk.

The location of the hotel was convenient in that there were plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. Wasnt happy with the location of our room and how we heard all the hallway noise and the heater/fan in our room was very noisy. The bed was not comfortable either.

Room was very small and had a musty smell. The small table in the corner that you would normally use for a lap top had no power outlets any where near it, I had to pick the table up and set it beside the bed and use an outlet behind the nightstand. You would be better off staying at the motel 6 across the street .

The hotel was clean and surprisingly nice for the price.

Had to reserve a room close to the waterfront to access my work location. The service was worth the price paid

It had a Bed, bathroom, and a tv... none were amazing. It was close enough to the airport... that's about it.

I booked for one day but I ended up in 2 days.. Its not bad, I slept well and convenient for shopping. I dont know if it is pick season during my stay, there are parking lot for my car. Breakfast was ok, well attended and it gave me a good deal.

Well... I knew I wasnt staying at the nicest place in town... but... It was a last minute thing. The rooms were clean and decent... but all the other little things were the worst.... I awoke to a woman screaming at around 2 am. Not good. People coming and going all night long. The doors banging each and every time... Could we quiet them down or at least […] try? Why so much foot traffic at 4 in the morning??? The rooms were clean and the location is good. But the people were really out of control. I wouldn't stay there again I'd have been better off sleeping in my car on the side of the freeway. Hey management... Try walking around your property and getting it under control. It's not that difficult. Mehr

Very basic room with hard bed but location is good for WWU visit and plenty of food choices to walk to.

Everything went very. People were very curtious and helpful finding breakfast downtown. Clean quiet room. NO parking for anything other than a car or motorcycle.

The hotel was somewhat plain jane, but clean and nice good for the price whice was inexpensive

Toenail on pillow case on time of check in, no elevator. Non smoking rooms smelt strongly of an old casino in las Vegas... (smokey). Receptionist not very welcoming..Emergency exit doors always left open. Security issue???

The room smelled and housekeeping was far from decent and the continental breakfast shouldnt even have been offered. All in all I got what I paid for which thank goodness was far less than people who didnt make reservations paid which I thought was a bit extreme.

Quite a good place where to stay for a couple of nights while visiting around.

An older facility that could use some updating. But, the staff was courteous and helpful and the rooms were clean. I have stayed at this hotel before and would not hesitate to do so in the future.

I'm a young woman who was just recently married. To save money we decided to just get a motel in town. This place is old and run down and really kind of smells. The girl working at the front was very nice and the only redeeming quality of the place is it gave us the feeling we were staying at a bed and breakfast because it was so old and crappy. Appreciated […] the experience and I love me husband so can't really complain there, but I definitely wouldn't suggest it to anyone! Paid way too much for an experience I had to make fun. Mehr

I don't usually stay at the Travelodge, but decided to book a room as it was inexpensive. The pool and sauna were closed - don't know when they'll open. I was able to get into my room early and unpack. The curtains needed adjusting, but the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was great. I had a wonderful night's sleep. Used the in-room frig, […] and coffee pot. No breakfast was included but we had planned to go out anyway. Mehr

I would recommend to those with children at WWU. We were visiting our daughter. For the price, this hotel is reasonable and convenient. It is NOT a destination hotel. I would also say that the breakfast was poor, even by the standards of other hotels' free breakfasts.

After checking in, we drove to the back parking lot and saw a bunch of louts standing around a pickup truck drinking beer. I thought, "This can't be good." Yep, one of their rooms was around the corner and the other down the hall. Sounded like they were having a party in the hallways, so I phoned the front desk at 10:30 p.m. Within 10 minutes they quieted […] down, but at 20-minute intervals they resumed until 2:00 a.m. The second night was peaceful, for the louts checked out that morning. Once, we passed through the smoking section hallways and were gagged by the fetid odor. In our room, one of the electrical outlets was coming out of the wall. If you can avoid drunken louts during your stay, I would recommend this hotel because it's cheap and convenient to the I-5. Many good eating establishments nearby. Just remember that with this hotel you get what you pay for. Mehr

Just 2 night at Travelodge in Bellingham. The room was pleasant, a water spot on the chair, sorry I didn't want to sit on it, the coffee maker in the bathroom, and the breakfast setting is a plus for the price. On the second night after the wedding party, we disturbed by a noise from upstairs guest. He sounded working on something that created a cut […] noise. We couldn't sleep until after midnight when he stopped his activity. We didn't report to the front desk. It is wise if Travelodge put a sign to consider neighbor with no loud noise. Result: we will stay at Quality Inn or Motel 6 for the future trip. Mehr

Yes, it's cheap but it's in an iffy aea and very run down.

The place was old considering it was rated a 7. It smelled funny & is in definite need of an upgrade to the overall look of the rooms and hallways. It looked like a time was trapped everything looked like it was from the 70s. Nothing modern about it. The hallways felt like you were in a hospital.

a very basic room for a place to sleep only. convenient off I-5 with a continental breakfast.

Quality reflects price. The rooms are kept up quite nicely. Good quality wifi. They offer a nice breakfast for the price, but the breakfast room is so run down and the windows so dirty it is hard to enjoy the meal. Still it is close to the University and the people working here are always nice and quick to please.

I wouldn't call it "dirty", but it could have been vacuumed better in room and hallways. Floors creaked a lot, especially in room above us. Those folks were up at 5 a.m. and we heard every step they took for 45 minutes so we didn't sleep/rest much after that. Food selection was fine in the for the continental breakfast, but the room was not tended well, […] had spills and crumbs on floor and counter. The attendant appeared distracted by the TV at the front desk. The hotel served it's purpose, but we'll probably stay somewhere else next time we go visit our daughter. Mehr
