Sugar Beach - Flic-en-Flac

I would recommend going for the standard room. The extra price for a superior room isn't really worth it unless you want a separate shower/bath. The beach and resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Highly recommend taking advantage of the free water sports (kayaking, snorkeling, peddle boat etc). Buffet breakfast and theme night dinners […] were pretty good as well. Drinks (not included in the half board) are VERY expensive. Recommend buying water from the supermarkets or bringing your own bottle. (hotel charges .75 litre water for 125 rupees!) Mehr

We were very impressed with the overall presentation of the hotel and the service was excellent. There could be some improvement in the rooms however as we discovered a yellowed blanket between the white sheets on the bed and there is no kettle for tea or coffee provided in the room. Great spot, very nice facilities (pool, gym, tennis courts, beach chairs etc.). The included buffet meals were excellent although service to get a beer with dinner was slow. Saw 2 weddings happen on the beach in the span of a few hours, very picturesque.

The hotel is set next to the beach. Lovely white sands amazing views. The hotel is nice and warm. Food staff rooms pools are all 10 out of 10. Flic en flac is a nice area. Away from the loud areas. Our only complaint was that we were initially placed in a room not far from the bar, so the loud music kept us up until the early hours of the morning. It was not what I […] had in mind for my holiday so I made a complaint about this and was moved to a superior room far from the bar, which was very peaceful. Le Sugar Beach est un magnifique hôtel de style colonial dans un immense jardin tropical. Tout le personnel est extrêmement dévoué et attentif, prêt à satisfaire à la moindre demande. Nous avons séjourné deux semaines en demie pension, ce qui est plutôt rare dans les hôtels de cette catégorie. Le buffet du soir est suffisamment diversifié pour ne jamais […] être monotone et la qualité de la cuisine est irréprochable. Pour se faire plaisir le Tides, restaurant bar jouxtant la piscine, propose une cuisine raffinée et inventive à découvrir. L'hôtel propose aussi de nombreuses activités, nautiques en particulier ainsi qu'un magnifique spa. L'existence d'un deuxième piscine pour ceux qui recherchent le calme est particulièrement appréciable. Je recommande donc vivement cet hôtel qui est à mon avis la meilleure offre de la zone Flic en Flac. Mehr
