Comfort Inn & Suites West Atlantic City - Pleasantville

We enjoyed our stay very much. Room was big and cozy enough. Complimentary breakfast was satisfying. Location was conveniently about 10 minutes outside of AC. Will be considering returning here again in the future.

The location was perfect, about a mile from the boardwalk and at a great price! And then a fabulous breakfast too! Super deal. So much more affordable than the casinos. Plus the room had a wonderful view of the bay, a super comfy bed. it was clean, well maintaines, the staff was really nice and helpful and we would defintely stay here again.

The hotel was clean. The only problem was that we heard everything in the halls. Our door wasn't sound proof. We heard the running in the halls and loud talking

My friends & I stayed at this hotel just for a weekend getaway and it was great. The hotel had very affordable prices compared to others which made us skeptical on how the hotel would be but it was clean & extremely comfortable without breaking the bank. The only inconvience for me was a LOT of the cab drivers in the city had outrageous prices to take […] you from the hotel to te boardwalk (which most cabbies do when they see you as a tourist) if you have a car it's not far from the boardwalk (maybe a 10 min. drive) however if you're more patient there is a free shuttle bus that comes every couple of hours. Overall it was a nice hotel with a friendly staff and I will be going there again. Mehr

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel after all the negatove remarks on Hotel.com. The hotel is clean and extremely close to the AC Boardwalk. I recently stayed overnight 1/15/12 to 1/16/12. Luis, the front desk clerk, was extremely friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed (he even helped fix the settings on my friend's camera :) I […] missed the breakfast but everything else was good....the room was clean, beds comfortable and I didn't smell any bad odors anywhere. I definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stay if you need to be close to AC! Mehr

Staff was great but Luis stood out. Room clean and comfortable. Free WiFi access and breakfast were great bonuses. Will stay again on my next visit to AC

It was a bit smelly in the room. Not disgusting, but not fresh either. However, the greatest customer service I have experienced in any hotel that I have recently started in. I do a bit amount of traveling, and I haven't received that kind of service in 3 diamond hotels.

The Comfort Inn did not disappoint. The services was friendly and most of all the breakfast was nice. The best part was the price and how close it was to the Casinos

We stayed here after a concert in AC because the rooms at the venue were too expensive. It's a good place to sleep for the night, probably would not want to stay longer than that.

Great location, great staff....room was not the greatest. Check your room thoroughly especially if you have young children

This was a good hotel. Just about 4 miles from casinos. Hotel's shuttle to casinos runs every two hours, but I drove and parking was only $7 at an outdoor lot one block from the boardwalk. Hotel breakfast buffet is OK. We ate at the hotel's picnic tables overlooking the bay....very nice.

My sister & I enjoyed our stay. The manager on duty was very friendly & helpful. The hotel also offered 24hr coffee which was also a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Found stale snacks (cheetos) in vending machine. Put do-not-disturb on door but cleaning people still came into room.

We loved it here! It had such comfy pillows we wished we could take them home with us! The only downfall was probably some of the hot stuff at breakfast. The toaster didn't work :( and the eggs were kind of gross, but the variety they had to choose from was excellent for a complimentary breakfast! The hotel was ok. Rooms were small and linens were of cheap quality; however, the room was clean and the hotel staff was polite. Breakfast was free but not good. I guess it's as the saying goes...you get what you pay for.

The hotel was convenient, clean, and comfy. Bathrms were a very nice size. The personnel at the hotel were all very pleasant and helpful. Elaine D.

Room was increasingly foul smelling for 2 nights until it culminated in the bathroom smelling like an open sewer on the following morning. Front desk said it was probably just "low tide". I was surprised it was a very nice hotel for the money we paid, only complaint was the breakfast area, too small for the size of the hotel. The last day we couldn't ate there as there was no space or place to seat. Otherwise we had a good time, and forgot to mention the free shuttle to the casinos, that was a plus.

Hotel was fine , location was fine , satff was very pleasant , gave several recommendations asto what to see and where to go. enjoyed the beach area behind the hotel , free breakfast was sufficient. except the area where it was hekd was a bit crowded and coould be made larger and more comfortable but it was fine overall. our hallway ( 2nd floor ) had […] a different smell every day , mostly unpleasant but again not a deal breaker. enjpoyed out stay and will likely retuen in the future. thx Mehr

Very comfortable, good breakfast, and nice view of bay.

This place was clean, comfortable, great free breakfast, and close to Atlantic City! There is a free shuttle in and out of the Tropicana in the evenings which we used twice. The beach on the bay, just behind the hotel is a nice place to sit and quietly sun yourself too. Staff was polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

We always look for Comfort Inn & Suites when we travel. The rates are reasonable, I enjoy the breakfast (the selections were great), the beds are sooo relaxing (that is why we stayed an extra night just to rest) and the staff were pleasant. I have no complaints.

was reasonably priced & conveniently located for the activities we had planned (beach, winery, Bob's nursery, shopping). folks were pleasant & most helpful; room was fresh & clean (most important!). enjoyed relaxing in the quietness along the bayside in the evenings with a bottle of wine. will definitely return!

It was so great to have a water view. You have access to the bay to enjoy the view. Its located right down the street from Atlantic City. Great Location. Housekeeping was a little intrusive but overall great experience.

We loved our Russian Receptionist. So helpful. The rooms were extremely comfortable and we had guests with us from overseas and they really enjoyed their stay. We drove to Atlantic City but could have easily taken the bus. Everyone in my family enjoyed their stay.

If you don't have to stay on the boardwalk and have a vehicle this is a great choice

Good location if you don't need to be in downtown Atlantic City. Easy in and out. A little worn but clean. Friendly service.

You could get a "Motel" on the strip that was cleaner and had better customer service than this hotel. I found it noisy, dirty, outdated, and the staff in the evenings were not helpful what so ever. They were too busy chatting or watching movies. Will never stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room had a view of the bay just beautiful. The complimentary breakfast buffet was good, but crowded. Very convenient to Atlantic City. My only "complaint" would be that the carpets need a good shampooing. But the room was clean and neat and very comfortable.

Nothing fancy, but clean and convenient to AC. Short drive, but very easy to navigate. Great complementary breakfast.

A little off the way but decent service. A little pricey for the services provided.

The hotel was in a convenient location to AC but the price really showed the difference from one of the big hotels. The hotel was not well maintained. Our room was clean but not that welcoming feeling. Our toliet wasn't even glued to the floor and the drain in the tub was backed up. We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is very good in general. Somewhat close to the boardwalk and they also offer a shuttle to the boardwalk @ certain times. Our room was clean but the hallway was a little smelly (like wet carpet). We got a bay view room, which was great and comfortable. The sunset was beautiful. I think that's the first review for this hotel at hotels.com and can say it's awesome!!! just what I was expecting, so nice comfortable, quiet and clean room, the bay view was beautiful, the breakfast was great variety with fruits, yogurts, breads, delicious muffins, waffles, juices, good coffee and others good things, my only one concern is that the […] breakfast place wasn't big enough for everybody but that wasn't a big problem because we went outside and breakfast on the table in front of bay and it was so nice, peaceful and relaxed. We chose to stay at this hotel due to price. We had an event at the Atlantic City Marina, where the hotels were 4 times the amount. Sight unseen we were leary, but upon our arrival we couldn't be MORE pleased! This hotel was extremely clean, friendly, beautiful views and our room was actually NICER than our friend's in the "luxury" hotel.
