Hotel was clean and close to restaurants.

We were driving through and needed a place to sleep. There was a bed but that's all we got out of it. Not a place you'd want to spend any time in.

Sorda run down not worth the price

The staff was nice. They recommended a great restaurant called the Log House. I was able to get a dryer from the front desk. Bed was OK, pillows not great. But it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was better than some. There was some outside areas that could use some maintenance. I would recommend this motel.

price was right for the room I stayed in.

This hotel does not look like much from the outside , I was actually about to call hotels.com back when I asked a couple coming out of the hotel about it. They said that although it doesn't look like much from the -outside the rooms are clean. It is an old hotel and needs some maintenance but the room was clean and it didn't smell like someone tried […] to cover up something smelly with disinfectant. I would stay there again. I don't recommend this room to anyone. It needs repairs all over the bed was terrible, just not a pleasant experience luckily I only stayed one night. You definitely get what you pay for.

A dreadful hotel. Nothing much updated and dreary interiors. Breakfast was a farce. Room had a strange smell when I turned on the AC. Water coming out of bathtub hot and cold ran red for several moments when turned on. I found a dead roach on the floor and floor had not been vacuumed for quite a while. Had I not prepaid this room thru internet connection, […] I would never have stayed here. There were perhaps 5 other cars in the parking lot in the morning. Word has apparently gotten out about this dump. Front desk was polite upon getting there. They didn't have much to do. Mehr

The hotel is in dire need of renovation. It is very old and appears to not ever have experienced a remodel. The bed was very uncomfortable, similar to sleeping on plywood with springs under it. Both the wife and I woke up in severe back pain. I would pay more for a hotel with more comfortable beds and updated to today's standards.

Stayed here on our way to the beach. Walked cross the tug and wanted to cit off my feet. Spend an extra 5 bucks.

Did not include breakfast, was poorly maintained

The owner was very friendly and helpful and the location was very conveneint. There were a lot of patches inside and out and the floors were filthy! You couldn't tell at a glance, but my son likes to run around bare-foot and the bottoms of his feet were Black!!

Although the price was right we could not maintain a comfortable heating temperature in the room. The heat was either on or off and no temperature control for a lower heat setting. We were glad it was only one night. Otherwise the hotel was near lots of choices for dining and shopping.

I made this reservation for my 72 year old mother whom travels alone often and was on her way home from a visit. The hotel was horrible! Very old, run down and in poor repair. The television had poor reception with a line down the middle of the screen. The breakfast was horrible and she couldn't eat anything because of the rotten smell in the eating […] area. She is not one to complain much but didn't hesitate to pick up the phone to call me when she got home. She stated she would never consider staying there again and wanted me to leave a review so people would know what they are getting into. Although it was close to the interstate, that would be the only thing this place had going for it. Mehr

This motel was falling apart. The second floor looked like it was going to fall down anytime. The handle inside our room came off. This was not a bargain for any amount of money.

Desk Clerk was very friendly only thing was it was just a older motel and could use some up grading.

The outside of the hotel needed some work. But the rooms were clean, beds were soft, and staff did a nice job cleaning

This was our second time to stay here. Great price and the room was clean. Easy on and off the interstate and near lots of restaurants.

I had stayed here a 4 nights before and this return visit on the way back was much the same experience. Decent place to get a night's sleep, internet connection was okay but couldn't again get to my exchange server. Hotel could use some updating.

This hotel is a decent place to stay for a night while traveling through. It is clean and affordable. There is WI-FI available which worked fine for the internet but I couldn't get Outlook to connect to my exchange server and get my e-mail using it. The continental breakfast isn't much but I wasn't expecting much.

The exterior of the building is in dire need of improvement but the room was very clean, with a refrigerator and a microwave which was unexpected! Very affordable, would definately stay again

Good location. You get what you pay for. At this price you can't be expecting very much. It was a good value. Going to the NASCAR race in Martinsville, VA, it was about 1 1/2 hours away.

My Wife went on the computer looking for a nice clean room, at a price we could afford without going over our budget. The people at the desk were nice , and let us check in a little early. We went on to have a nice visit with my wifes parents, and the next morning we headed back to West Virginia where we call home. Nice people, clean room, perfect […] stay! Mehr
