Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber mit extra abgetrennten Bad und Duschmöglichkeit in der Wanne. Die Übernachtung war inkl. Frühstück. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen war es ausgiebig. Man konnte wählen zwischen, Muffin, Beagles, Toast mit Toaster, Waffeln zum selber machen, Obstauswahl, genügent Aufstrich wie versch. Marmeladen und Sirup, zwei versch. Kaffesorten (normal und entkoffeniert) und Saft aus dem Automaten. Alles als free refill. Wer eine Stadtrundfahrt machen möchte kann sich an der Rezeption melden. Von dort kann eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Abholung vom Hotel organisert werden. Also besser geht es gr nicht. Ich kann nur jeden dieses Hotel empfehlen. Würde jederzeit sofort doert wieder übernachten. Volle Punktzahl. Einziger kleiner Abstrich ist die örtl. Umgebung. Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Umgebung etwas ungemütlich aus, aber wenn man daran denkt, das es nicht gerade die Innenstadt ist geht es in Ordnung. Ca. 5 Min Fußweg gibt es zwei Fastfood Restaurants und genau gegenüber ist ein großer (mexikanischer) Supermarkt. Alles in ereichbarer Nähe.

Ich war mit einem Bekannten für 7 Tage in dem Motel. Sehr netter Empfang. Absolut problemlos. Erster Eindruck wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bestätigt. Frühstück mit frischen warmen Haferflocken, frisches Rührei, gekochte Eier, Waffeln zum selbstbacken, Müsli, Säfte, Obst, Kaffee, Tee, ... -kurzum, für amerikanische Motelverhältnisse absolut super und ausreichend. Das richtige für den Start in den Tag. Lage: ca. 15 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Venicebeach, 5 Minuten zum Hafen von Marina, 15 Minuten zum Harleyverleih am Lincoln- Boulevard, Tiefgaragenparkplätze kostenlos, Zimmer sauber und frisch renoviert -unseres zumindest- Personal immer freundlich, kleiner Pool und Spa zur Erfrischung/ Entspannung, Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Gaskamin, für uns jederzeit wieder 1. Wahl für L.A. Aufenthalte!!!!!!!!!

Entlang der palmengesäumten Straßen von Beverly Hills reihen sich Anwesen mit einem Wert von jeweils mehreren Millionen Dollar aneinander. Am Rodeo Drive wird der Lebensstil der Reichen und Berühmten besonders gut sichtbar. Die Boutiquen dort bieten von Armani bis Zegna alles. Es ist kein Zufall, dass sich ausgezeichnete Secondhandläden im Melrose District östlich von Beverly Hills niedergelassen haben. Im Melrose District befinden sich viele aufsteigende Designstudios. West Hollywood, auch WeHo genannt, ist nicht weit davon entfernt und bildet den Mittelpunkt der Homosexuellenszene von Los Angeles.

Das Hotel war für Ausflüge nach Beverly Hills, Hollywood oder Santa Monica sehr zentral gelegen. Wir haben am 1. Tag eine Stadtrundfahrt gemacht u. die Haltestelle war genau gegenüber vom Hotel. Dazu war gegenüber eine grössten Shopping Halls in Los Angeles. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein gutes Hotel, dass ich wieder besuchen würde, […] falls ich wieder einmal 2-3 Nächte in LA bin. Zudem hat es einen grossen Fitness (haben wir aber nie benutzt). Trotz 5 Sterne, habe ich es an anderen Orten schon sauberer und mit etwas mehr Service erlebt - ist aber auch immer empfindungssache. Mehr

"Ein nobler und feiner Hotel."
Es ist ein sehr gutes Hotel,der 5 Sternen wert ist. Nach einem 14 Stündigen Flug ist dieses Hotel das richtige!Etwas teuer,aber gute Lage.

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt im Sofitel in Los Angeles. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war schön hell mit Blick auf die Hollywood Hills. Alles war sehr sauber! Das Restaurant ist absolut zu empfehlen. Alles hat super lecker geschmeckt. Der Roomservice war auch in Ordnung und ging recht fix. Das einzig klitzekleine Negative […] ist, dass einem das valet parking jeden Tag in Rechnung gestellt wird. Dennoch ist das Hotel absolut empfehlenswert. Wir werden sicher wieder ein Sofitel wählen, soviel steht schon einmal fest! Mehr

Service,Zimmer alles wunderbar.Begeistert vor allem durch die Super-Lage: In wenigen Fahrminuten in Hollywood, am Rodeo Drive oder Sunset Plaza.Auch Einkaufszentren und Santa Monica zum Baden sind gut erreichbar. Toll : Beverly Center und Marshalls direkt gegenüber.

"Hat sich verschlechtert in den letzten Jahren"
Nachdem wir in den letzten Jahren ein paar Mal wegen der guten Lage, des guten Zustandes und Unterhalts der Zimmer an dieser Adresse abgestiegen sind, werden wir dies auf Grund unserer letzten Erfahrung nicht mehr tun. Wir wurden in ein beschädigtes Zimmer eingecheckt und bekamen nachher ein düsteres Zimmer, welches sein Alter zeigt. Allgemein schien […] uns das ganze nicht mehr so gepflegt und frisch wie früher, dieses Zimmer hier verfügte über eine immenses Badezimmer, das Zimmer selbst war aber so klein, dass man Mühe hatte zwei Koffer vernünftig zu verstauen. Die Parkgebühren sind unangemessen hoch, die Wirelessverbindung sehr langsam und ihren Preis auch nicht wert. Auch scheint sich die Zusammensetzung der Gäste verändert zu haben, waren früher Geschäftsleute und gehobene Individualreisende auszumachen, scheinen sich heute mehr und mehr Partygänger und ähnliches einzuquartieren. Der offenbar sehr angesagte Nachtclub im Hotel scheint dem Hotel immer mehr seine prägung zu geben. Nicht zum Interesse des Ruhe und ein gepflegtes Ambiente suchenden Gastes. Mehr

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel, initially wanted to try its inhouse restaurant but online reviews weren't too promising. There are quite a few good eateries within walking distance, so my family had a good time checking nearby eateries instead. Concierge was helpful & there's always 1-2 of them around to assist. We were a little disappointed that we […] were often awakened to sounds outside the room or next door ( likely by an over enthusiastic chambermaid cleaning ), probably it didn't help we like to sleep in on holidays! The room was good and the little Hermes products made it feel more like a luxury hotel. Not within walking distance of much, except for the Mall across the way. There are usually 4-5 staff at the entrance -- they rush to open doors, help us in and out of our car, valet parking, etc. The concierge and front desk were very helpful with our many questions. We throughly enjoyed our massages at LeSpa. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit chilly (April in L.A.) so […] we couldn't really enjoy the heated pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would return again if we go back to LA. The workout facilities were especially good and we found the location quite accessible to restaurants, shopping, etc. Our only complaint was that some of our cable stations on the tv in the room were compromised, and although we reported this on the first of our three days there, […] it corrected. The staff were apologetic and offered us other services ( a free drink, free breakfast, etc.,) but the stations were never fixed. Mehr

Couldn't have been happier with our choice. We arrived early in the morning and were able to check in immediately (which is more luck than anything based on room availability but still added to the experience). From the minute I walked into the hotel from the time I left the staff was more than helpful and accommodating. Every member personally greeted me and went above and beyond expected service. Will stay here again!

Great rooms; nice layout. Bathrooms and amenities were wonderful. Loved the quirky, unique features like the TV speakers in the bathroom, adjustable lighting throughout the unit, etc!

Location is perfect. A Hop on hop off stop is just across the road. Rodeo drive and The Grove are just a 20 min walk from the hotel. Service is great. We got two bottles of water every day and we got a coffee maker in our room because we stayed for 7 nights. The staff is very nice.

"Comfortable"
I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was a pleasant experience. It's definitely not the cheapest hotel around, but it was worth the money. We did have a delay during check in. I checked in a little after 4pm, but I guess my room wasn't cleaned yet. I was able to check in after about 15 minutes of waiting. I have given a $15 coupon for their spa […] and restaurant for waiting, but didn't use them. The staff were friendly and professional. Valet service ran smoothly. Expect for one time, my car was always waiting for me a few minutes after calling from my room. The valet service does cost $33 a night but I guess all upscale hotels cost around that much. The beds were very comfortable. Much better than the cheap bed I have at home. The room, at least mine, didn't come with a coffee machine. It was a little odd as most hotels I've stayed at always had a coffee machine. A coffee machine was sent up after calling the front desk. We were given complementary waters each day so that was nice as well. Location is great. It's right across the street from the Beverly Center. A few blocks down is 3rd street where you can find a lot of nice places to eat as well. Mehr

We paid for the deluxe king which was one price above the standard. I can only believe that they just gave us a standard regardless. The room couldnt be any smaller. besides that the room was clean and comfortable.

I always stay in the Sofitel when I am in LA because of the location. It is across the street from the Beverly Center and walking distance to countless restaurants and shopping, including Melrose and West Hollywood. When we arrived at 3:30 pm, room wasn't ready and it didn't get ready until 4:30. While waiting for our room, we ordered hamburger and a cocktail at the lounge. Ordered a cocktail with mango but got one with passionfruit. It took 30 minutes to get the burger. Ordered med rare but what we got was well done. Ask for another one, it took another 15 minutes […] and this time it was raw not even rare. Returned again. There were no customers besides us whole time and 3 cooks working in the open kitchen. We were looking forward to have nice dinner at the restaurant but decided to eat someplace else. The carpet in the room has too many stains. Also we had to ask for new pillows because they smell bad but new ones never arrived. When the house keeping brought us bottled water, we request her to bring new pillows again. They let us stay extra hour to check out. We had wonderful stay in Sofitel in other cities, but this time was real downer. Mehr

"Great stay at Sofitel"
Had great service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Real International flavor to the guests that I ran into. Minor issue with bathroom maintenance. The shower head needed to be replaced as did the light over the shower but I never had a chance to call maintenance so I can't complain about responsiveness.

My daughter and I stayed in this lovely hotel for 2 nights. The service was excellent. The restaurant and the service was amazing! The Beverly Centre is across the road. Short taxi drive to Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd. Surrounding shopping limited but that may have been because of our short stay. Would not hesitate to stay again and longer.

Excellent hotel. Great service and very friendly. The breakfast was the best value and top class Eating out if you don't want fast food is expensive. Would recommend the Ivy but save up and book in advance The Farmers Market nearby is also worth visit
